Today was the day. Her last day. She has fully transformed as an abomination but she still had her humanity. It'll be the last day she has it.

(Y/N) was going to have to fly far away so no one gets hurt.

Snotlout is the only one who knows the truth. The scary and ugly truth.

He wanted to make today a special day for (Y/N), since this would probably be the last day he will ever see her again.

So, Snotlout started early. (Y/N) was brought food to her in the comfort of Snotlout's bed.

Next, Snotlout and (Y/N) went in the village and noticed people gathered around a large long table outside.

"Uh, Snotlout, what are they doing?" (Y/N) whispers to Snotlout

"You'll see." He said as he smiled.

As she got closer one of the Vikings looked up and saw (Y/N). He gasped and looked back down.

Suddenly, they turned around and she recognized all of them.

They were the same people that she helped.

"Happy Birthday!" They cheered.

(Y/N) grinned "Thank you!" She exclaimed.

There were little kids who ran up to (Y/N) and hugged her long scaley legs.

"Thanks for saving my cat the other day!" A little girl smiled.

(Y/N) smiled down at her and patted her head "You're very welcome."

They played little games such as tug-of-war and there was a pie eating contest. There was also lots of food and desserts.

Snotlout's friends came over as well and joined in. Except for Hiccup since he was busy but made the time to come by and wished (Y/N) a happy birthday.

As (Y/N) was watching the others play a game of ball. Her head started to hurt around the temple area.

She shut her eyes to let the pain go away. She reopens her eyes and everything went into a haze for a split second and the pain suddenly went away.

She furrowed her eyebrows. "Am...I? No, it's too early." She mumbles to herself.

Someone touched her shoulder, she looked over and it was Snotlout, he looked at her with worry "Are you okay?" He asks with an worried expression.

(Y/N) gave Snotlout a toothy grin "Yeah, I'm okay!"

Snotlout relaxed and smiled at her.

It became late afternoon and the party was over. (Y/N), Snotlout, and the others helped clean up.

The weird headache that happened didn't happen again. So, (Y/N) just brushed it off and thought of it as a fluke.

Snotlout and (Y/N) both walked into the forest together in silence.

"I'm...going to miss you...a lot." Snotlout said sadly.

(Y/N) looked at Snotlout with teary eyes. She nodded as she looked at the ground "Yeah, me too."

Suddenly, Snotlout grabbed (Y/N)'s clawed hands and pulled her into a tight hug. It was an awkward hug because (Y/N) became considerably taller, but nonetheless, it was a warm loving hug.

As they were hugging for quiet some time they heard thunder in the distance. They both looked up and saw a huge dark cloud coming their way.

The wind was picking up and the leaves were falling off the trees.

"It looks like a storm is coming...are you going to be okay?" Snotlout asks (Y/N).

(Y/N) nodded "I should be if I fly the the other way."

As they were trying to find a clearing where (Y/N) can fly. Her headache came back. This time it felt like something was squeezing her brain tightly.

She grabbed her head as she yelled out in pain.

"(Y/N)?! What's wrong?!" Snotlout asked as he reached an arm out.

(Y/N) pupils became tiny slits and claws at Snotlout.

He yelled in pain as there were three long gashes on his arm.

"I--sorry--" (Y/N) muttered out

(Y/N) fell to the ground as she grabs her head and screams out.

"Snotlout, stand back!"

Snotlout looked up in confusion and saw Gobber.

"Gobber?! What are you doing here?!"

Gobber ran up to him and pulled him back away from (Y/N).

"Gothi, told me more about (Y/N)'s curse. That she will turn into a blood thirsty beast."

Snotlout shook his head "That--she shouldn't be turning now! It's after her birthday when she turns."

Gobber nodded as he stares at the screaming girl on the ground "Yes, but she's transitioning and it's trying to take her over."

He lifted up his ax he was holding and ran towards (Y/N).

"Gobber, no!" Snotlout yelled out

(Y/N) looked up with bared teeth and roared at the Viking and flew up at an incredible speed. She quickly looked around and started to fly towards the other way.

"Oh no... she's going to the village." Snotlout muttered.

"Did you tell anyone?!" Snotlout yelled out

"No! I thought I would just be able to just kill her before she transitioned!" Gobber replied

Snotlout and Gobber both ran after her as quickly as they can but they weren't fast enough.

There were screams in the village as there were fire. They saw (Y/N) pick up a barrel and threw it towards some people but luckily, they have dodged it.

There was now thunder and lighting along with screams and cries.

Snotlout tried to run after (Y/N) but she ran off quickly some where else.

Valka ran up to (Y/N), ready to attack her, but (Y/N) just swiped Valka away with her arm and sent Valka flying towards the blacksmiths and she ended up hitting her head on an anvil, knocking her unconscious.

"(Y/N), stop!" Snotlout yelled out, but (Y/N) didn't listen. She couldn't.

Gobber ran past Snotlout and charged at (Y/N), however, she swiped her tail at him and he was sent flying and he crashed into a hut and was instantly knocked out.

Suddenly, she stops and grabs her head as she shuts her eyes "Argh! Stop, get out!" She yelled out. Her voice sounded unnatural and almost demonic. Her face started to shift back and forth to her human and abomination form.

Snotlout saw the gang with their dragon armor on as they run up to her with weapons. He was frozen in fear. He didn't know what to do. He stood and watched everything unfold.

(Y/N) opened her eyes, before they could land their weapons on her, she swiped her tail at the twins knocking them both across the village and crashing into a hut.

Fishlegs was standing there shaking and (Y/N) roared at his face and swiped at him sending him towards the twins, who were getting up, only getting knocked down again.

Astrid, let out a battle cry and ran at (Y/N). (Y/N) swiped at Astrid with her arm, but Astrid jumped over it and sent the ax down on (Y/N)'s shoulder.

(Y/N) roared in pain but her skin was too thick and didn't penetrate all the way through.

(Y/N) quickly pulled it out and threw the ax at Astrid, but she jumped out of way, it gave enough time for (Y/N) to pick her up and throw her.

"Astrid!" Hiccup yelled out.

He looked at (Y/N) with worry, fear, and anger all in one as she roared at him. He pulled out his sword and lit it on fire and swung it at her.

She took a step back watching the sword. She growled angrily and swiped the lit sword blade making Hiccup lose his sword but also making (Y/N) burn her clawed hand in the process.

As Hiccup realized he lost his weapon he looked back at (Y/N) in fear. She jumped on him, she raised her claws in the air and was ready to swipe down. Ready to kill the Chief.

Snotlout saw that (Y/N) was going to kill Hiccup. He shook in place as he tried to find his voice.

"(Y/N), no!" He yelled out.

(Y/N) stopped and turned to see Snotlout standing there. "Stop..." he muttered out.

She blinked at him as her slit eyes dilated to round ones. "Snotlout?"

Hiccup took this chance to kick (Y/N) in the stomach sending her stumbling backwards.

Hiccup got up, taking this chance to run over to his weapon. (Y/N), roared and her eyes went back to thin slits. She saw Hiccup running towards his weapon.

She stood up and ran, taking long strides towards Hiccup, before he had the chance to grab the sword (Y/N) knocked the sword away with her tail and hit Hiccup with her arm sending him flying towards Astrid as she was standing up. They hit their heads together and they both fell on the ground on top of each other.

Snotlout just stared at (Y/N). In horror.

(Y/N) turned towards Snotlout and ran at him. She raised her claws in the air ready to kill Snotlout but she hesitated.

Suddenly, she felt a painful force on and in her stomach. She slowly looks down and sees a sword. Her eyes trailed up the sword and it led to Snotlout.

He had picked up Hiccup's sword when (Y/N) swiped it away from him.

His eyebrows were furrowed as tears were threatening to spill out. "I'm sorry."

Don't be afraid to kill me.

He pushed the sword in hard, letting it pierce through her on the other side.

(Y/N) let out a painful gasp as she felt the sword go through her. The pain felt unbearable and she felt her body go limp. Snotlout pulled out the sword and dropped it on the ground with a clatter.

(Y/N) fell forward but Snotlout catched her and gently laid her down as he let (Y/N) rest her head on his legs as he sat and looked down at her face.

It started to drizzle. Rain droplets falling one by one until many and thousands more came down as it thundered.

Snotlout's tears slowly dripped down and fell on (Y/N)'s half human and half abomination face.

"I'm sorry." He whispered

(Y/N) pupils dilated as she sees Snotlout's blue eyes and weakly shook her head slowly.

"It's okay..." she breathed out "you did good." She whispered. She reached up and touched his wet face.

(Y/N) let out a shaky breath "Are you crying?" She asks weakly.

Snotlout smiled and shook his head as his lips trembled "No, it's raining."

"Are you sad?" She mumbled out

Snotlout let out a soft chuckle as he tried not to sob "I thought you could smell emotions?"

(Y/N) weakly shook her head as her eyes become barely open "I lied. I can't smell emotions."

Snotlout forced a happy smile as his lips quivered "You're a jerk."

(Y/N) just let out a shaky chuckle.

There was some silence as (Y/N) vision started to blur. She suddenly felt scared "Snotlout?" She called to him quietly.

"I'm here." He whispered as he gently touched her face.

(Y/N) saw the three gashes on Snotlout's arm. "You're hurt...I hurt you."

Snotlout shook his head "It's okay. Don't worry about it." He said as his voice broke

(Y/N) placed her head closer to Snotlout "I'm cold and I'm scared." She spoke quietly, as her voice trembled.

Snotlout carefully held her close "It's okay...everything is going to be alright." He whispered out as he tried to force a smile. Only for his lips to tremble and go to a sad frown.

(Y/N) sighed in content "Thank you...for holding me so warmly." She mutters as she starts to lose consciousness. Her body started to give off a soft glow

Snotlout tried to blink away the tears. He tried to be strong and brave for her.

"I'm sorry..." (Y/N) murmurs.

Snotlout placed his hand on (Y/N)'s head, stroking her hair out of her face "For what?" Snotlout asked as he looks down.

"For waiting too long to tell you..." she looked up as she smiled weakly at him as tears fell down her eyes.

"That I love you. I loved you the day that I first saw you. And from that day on...I loved you every day...even if you loved someone else."

Snotlout started to softly weep when he heard her words and noticed (Y/N) body slowly dissappearing under him as she was turning into a glowing dust.

"Thank you, for making the last few months the best days...of my life." (Y/N) quietly and slowly whispered out reaching up and touching his face. Snotlout reached up and placed his hand over hers.

"Because we got to do all the fun things?" He asked as he tried to give her a smile.

She shook her head "No, because I got to spend them everyday...with you." She slowly breathed in and out. As her eyes became heavy "Thank you, for being brave for me. Thank you...for everything, Snotlout...I love you, so much." (Y/N) sighed out as she finally closed her eyes. Her hand went lifeless and slid down as her head went limp.

Snotlout softly cried as he leaned down and kissed (Y/N)'s lips as her body slowly turned into glowing dust, floating away.

Only her ripped clothes left behind.

"I love you, too." He whispered out as be gripped onto her clothes and held them close to him.

Snotlout, be brave for me.

Why?

Because...because I'm scared.
