|A|N| Holy shit there's a power outage this is terrifying. It's not just our condo, our building, but the whole town! There's loud sirens everywhere and beeping. It's storming pretty bad outside and the house is starting to get hot (we're on vacation in Florida). I can hear the wind outside. It's scary. I can't sleep. Help...

|Story Starts|

Armin promised that today he'd hang out with you, you alone. So for free break the two of you decided to take a walk through the forest. It was relaxing, and it made me quite happy to finally be alone with Armin again. I truly have missed this feeling.

"So, how're your symptoms lately? From what it looks like they've seen to calm down?"

You began.

"Ye- actually, no."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah... they've actually been pretty bad. Especially at night."

"Why would you tell me!?"

"Because I was afraid you'd get mad like this!"

"Armin, I'm not mad."

You stopped and gave him a hug.

"I'm just worried about you. I don't want you to be in pain. It's horrible. I never want you to feel the way you're feeling."

"Oh..."

"I can drop by my house before dinner and grab your pills, unless you're feeling bad right now?"

"Naw, things are eh right now. I kind of feel it but not really. Nothing's hurting yet."

"Please tell me if things start getting bad."

"I will now."

Armin let go of the hug and the both of you began walking again.

"Y/N, what if I start acting up on our weekend with Eren?"

"You can take the pills in the morning so that you won't feel bad during the day. If things get bad at night just wake me up and we can figure something out."

"I-I know... but with Eren around, he'll see the pills, or eventually find them. He'll think something's wrong and ask me about them."

"You don't want to tell him?"

"Well, it would explain to him why I've had all those awkward erections before. By I don't know, I feel like he'd make fun of me for it. I can't bare being humiliated again by him."

"So that's a no to telling him?"

"I don't know. Maybe I'll decide too. But right now I don't want him knowing."

"Well, we can just wake up earlier than him and you can take them then. I'll keep them with my stuff so he won't find them. How's that?"

"Sure, thanks."

"No problem at all."

"So Y/N, how have you been doing lately? I feel like I haven't asked you that in forever."

"I don't know, I'm okay. Ups and down. I'm happy when you're happy, and sad when you're in pain. It's just been going along with your feelings I guess."

"Really? Anything else?"

"Well, I have been a bit nervous about the next crystal."

"What about it? Is something wrong?"

"No, no. I've just been thinking, maybe I'll need to start over with a whole new formula did this one, since it can't be injected into my heart. I can't do open heart surgery on myself."

"Oh yeah, I hadn't thought about that."

"I hope I won't have to start over again."

"I hope so too. I don't want you to be a long time. I'll miss you the second you go. When you get back we're going on a date."

"Cute, I'll agree to that."

"Hey also, could we maybe... do that thing, after we get back from the weekend trip?"

"What thi- oh. Sure."

"Really?"

You nodded.

"Great. I've finally thought up the perfect scenario. I promise you'll be satisfied with what I've come up with."

You chuckled.

"Alright Mr. Sexpert. Can't wait to see this stuff in action."

Armin nudged you playfully.

"You won't be talking so much later while you're moaning in pleasure."

You raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, yeah Armin! That's great!"

He mocked your voice horribly. You laughed.

"Oh yeah Armin, that's great."

"Well you won't be saying it like that. It'll be more airy sounding."

"Again, thank you Mr. Sexpert."

"Whatever, let's just get back to the cabin. I need to sit down, walking a making me uncomfortable."

"Okay, let's go."

You and Armin travelled back through the forest to your cabin. When you got back Armin curled up in bed. You sat down beside him and rubbed his arm.

"You okay?"

"No, things are getting worse."

"Want me to get your stuff from my time?"

"Yes please."

He mumbled. You got up and drew out a quick portal.

"I'll be back in a second. Stay there."

"Okay."

He thankfully obeyed your command. Good. You walked through the portal, entering your kitchen. I always feel weird when I go back to the other time after being in one for a while. It's like I'm in a totally different place than I last remembered. But enough thinking about that, I should hurry. You rummaged through the medicine cabinet and collected his meds. Then, you grabbed an ice pack from the freezer.

"I think that's just about it- water."

You shoved the various items collected into your pockets and grabbed a glass out of the cupboard, then proceeding to fill it with some nice, cold water.

"Okay, now I'm done."

You once again drew another portal, this time leading to your cabin, and walked through. When you looked around, now in your cabin, Armin was still laying peacefully in your bed.

"Hey, I'm back."

You announced.

"I have all your stuff. Come sit up so you can take your pills."

Armin groaned and did exactly that.

You put the glass down on the nightstand and pulled out all the bottles from your pocket.

"There's so many."

Armin stated the obvious.

"Yeah, but they'll help. Just take them."

"Mm, I know, I will."

Once you sorted all of the pills out you handed them to Armin. He made some weird hiss-gargling sound.

"What?"

"Pills suck. We all know what happened the last time I took a pill."

"These are for helping you. That time didn't count. Come on, just take the-"

"I am!"

"Okay, jeez..."

Slowly, Armin took each pill one-by-one and swallowed them down with a bit of water.

"There, you'll be feeling better soon."

"I hope so."

You pulled up the covers and Armin got underneath.

"Put your leg up."

You demanded. Armin groaned and lifted his leg. You grabbed the ice pack and slipped it underneath, in between his thighs, then pushing his leg back down.

"Thanks."

"No problem. Can I give you some back hugs?"

"Please."

You crawled in behind him and pulled up the covers. He's so warm. His heat radiates through his clothes onto my arms. This would be a good moment if it weren't for his pain.
