I would follow an eye-for-an-eye process if I was in my inexperienced, immature, and insolent young self.

But I've come to realize how far I've got.

Think about it.

If my comrades didn't die, will we be where we are now? Without them, without advancement, and inevitable death, nothing will change. Sometimes we just gotta roll the dice and take risks. Life doesn't take pleasure in staying the same way and have it your way.

We all have to step out of our comfort zones at some point in our life and accept how it is. I need to accept that my comrades died and sacrificed for the glory of humanity. If it weren't for their service and hardwork, there wouldn't be any progress.

So no, I wouldn't take one life just to save the rest, because everyone will be gone if I succumb to my own desires. I have to think of everyone if I let the people who've died for me come back to life. Nothing good will happen, and I will see the same faces die and die again.
