"How could you this?I don't know how to trust you after this."

"I-I didn't know it was such a big deal." Gouenji followed closely behind Kira who had just stormed out off the dining room.

"Not a big deal?NOT A BIG DEAL?" She abruptly halted and turned to face him, "How can you say that? It's like you don't know me at all."

"But...but...how could I know it would make you so angry?" Gouenji tried to reason even though he was still confused about the whole conversation.

"You.Took.My.Pizza! MY pizza!" Kira growled, "And it was the best piece! I was saving it for last." She looked deeply upset as she recalled the incident.

"So you can't share?" Gouenji asked with widened eyes.

Kira came closer and glared straight into his eyes, "It was a one-person pizza." She quietly said through gritted teeth. She then started walking away but stopped after a couple of steps and returned, "And you know what's the worst thing about all this? You don't even like pizza!"

"Y-yah but I thought maybe I should give it a second chance." He tried to sound casual although everything felt surreal to him in that moment.

"If you were going to conduct experiments like that you should have told me beforehand so I could order a bigger pizza. You completely blindsided me!" Kira's anger was still intact but then her voice turned gloomy, "I had plans for that last piece. I was going to download the newest episode of my favourite show and I was going to make tea and I was going to eat the piece then but you ruined everything." She looked like she could cry.

Gouenji stood awkwardly, not knowing what to do or say as Kira monologued about pizza. When she was done, she stormed off and shut herself in the study room.

Next morning Gouenji thought things had returned to normal when Kira didn't say no to having the morning tea together as they always did. In fact, she prepared the tea herself and set it down on the table. She then handed Gouenji the teacup and smiled. Mentally relieved that everything was okay again, he took a sip of the tea... and immediately spit it out.

"Kira, this has salt in it." He immediately turned to her.

"Yah, now you know what betrayal feels like." Her expression had changed to one resembling last night's as she got up and left.

"Betray-what???" Gouenji leaned forward to look at her go unable to understand what just happened.

Gouenji sheepishly entered the living room where Kira sat on the sofa glaring intently at the television, watching something while taking occasional sips of her afternoon tea. He flopped down beside her but she remained motionless.

"Look what I brought." He announced, bringing forth a box of pizza.

Kira's frown loosened when she  glanced at him and then the box. She snatched it from his hands and opened it immediately.

"This is all pepper. Are you trying to kill me with spice?" She put the box away on the coffee table in front and directed her attention towards the TV again.

"Then how about this one?" He presented another box.

"Just cheese? I could do this at home." She rejected it too and placed it on top of the previous one.

"Okay then." Gouenji paused for a bit and then presented a third box, "I sure hope you like this because I am out of pizza boxes."

One more time Kira opened the box but this time she didn't have to put it down. It was exactly the kind of pizza she liked. Her eyes sparkled as she stared at the cheesy delight present in front of her.

"Finally!" She exclaimed with happiness. She then looked at Gouenji and smiled. He heaved a sigh of relief as he saw her anger disappear.

"So what should I do with these other two?" He said.

"Leave them here. I'll eat those too. They may not be my favourite but it's still pizza." She put a protective hand on top of them.

"You can't eat that much pizza. You'll get sick of it." He declared.

"Oh yah? Just watch me." Kira retorted.

"No I have better things to do than watch you eat pizza." Gouenji joked and got up to leave, "Enjoy your binge-watching and your binge-eating." He said as he left.

"Time to watch my favourite show!" Kira mumbled to herself as she took a bite out of her favourite pizza.
