Scarlett's Pov~

I woke to the sound of meat sizzling on a fire. I jumped up and looked. There was a different meat being cooked on the fire this time it was long strips of both meat and some fat. Revan was sitting beside Amy waiting for the meat. I also noticed there was wooden plates and cups sitting on the stump between them. I stood up and moved to sit beside Revan while Amy was on a stump of her own with a log holding the utensils. I was about to say something when Amy handed me a plate with the crispy meat on it and some bread.

I didn't know what to do so Revan nudged me and I looked at him and he showed that you wrap the meat in the bread. I did the same and it tasted amazing, I didn't know that bread would make the meat taste even better. We eat as much as Amy cooked while feeding herself. Once she took the stone off the fire we rubbed our bellies and felt better.

"Well are you two ready to get the trading going? Or do you both need a minute to let everything settle first?" Amy asked.

"Settle please." Revan and me said at he same time feeling full.

~time skip, one hour~

We got settled and got up and seen the day was starting to become high noon. Amy put the fire out awhile ago and then headed with us to town with leaves wrapped around something. I was about to ask when I seen movement come from the town and seen the mayor and town folks waiting near the edge of town. I was about to wave when Amy's hand grabbed me softly and pulled me back.

"We heard there was someone hunting on our land and then we smelled the meat cooking. Was it you guys?" The mayor asked while stepping in front of the people.

Amy stepped forwards and said in a loud voice.

"I was the one that hunted and cooked meat for my group if you have a problem with me then please take it out on me and not them!" She called out to them.

The towns people looked between themselves and then started whispering to the mayor.

"We have come to the conclusion that we would like to learn to cook because the meat you cooked last night smelled good. And when Revan came to the town to get supplies to eat outdoors we wanted to learn more. Please teach us to cook." The mayor yelled out and bowed while the rest of the town bowed to us.

I was dumb struck. We walked over and Amy opened the leaves she was holding and bent down and fed the meat in it to the children. They took one bite and then took the rest to their parents and they tried it as well. Everyone here tried the cooked meat and they had the same look as Revan last night, pure bless. I smiled and walked over to the mayor.

"I would like to set up some trading with this town and spruce town, and hopefully along with the other three someday. If we teach you guys to cook will you be willing to trade fish and some supplies with us?" I asked him.

"Yes but we would like to learn this cooking that this lady knows!" He said happily eating some meat strips.

"It's not a skill it's just knowledge I know from my past lives." Amy said telling them.

They were all shocked that she had memories from past lives and she learned to cook like this from them. They started begging her to teach them her ways to make good food. She smiled softly and started teaching them information about different plants that are great for cooking and how to use them. Then she showed them that if they put a flat stone over an open fire like so that they can cook on it and to never use wood to cook with but in the fire.

Everyone soaked it in and learned from her. After many failed attempts they started thinking it was to hard but Amy encouraged them to keep trying.  When the children started helping and pointing out things that the adults were doing wrong, the adults learned the different ways to cook and fed their families good food.

We made and signed a trading contract to get deals and food. Amy was loved by the children and adults and they asked her to stay and cook for them, when the mayor cleared his throat and said she was part of our group not to tie her down to just them. They made a deal that everyone can learn cooking from her and she needs to teach it to others as well.

Amy promised she would visit when she had some free time and she would teach them more when metal utensils became available for everyone to use in their cooking. They all cheered and was happy. We headed out with sea food for the road for the trip to spruce Wood town. The children went to the edge of the town and waved us good bye and Amy waved good bye while watching Infront of herself.

We got to the border of spruce trees and we stopped for the night. Amy set up the campsite and got the fire going and started smoking the fish with salt. no one knew it could be used for cooking and the coastal town was happy to start using it and gave us a ton to take back to use for our food as well.

"So what do you guys want to eat while the fish dries?" Amy asked getting another campfire started to cook more food.

"What can we have?" Revan asked.

Amy thought it over and then seen a rabbit come into the camp and pointed at it. I knew she wanted it so I took the bow and arrow out and shot it. Amy got up and skinned it and cleaned it. She started cooking the whole rabbit on a big stick over the fire and rotated it so it would cook evenly I guess. She sprinkled salt and other herbs as she calls them on the rabbit and we waited. Before we knew it, was it smelled amazing and we couldn't wait to eat. Amy split the rabbit into two halves and gave me and Revan each half of it. We looked at it and then her and she waved us off before checking the fish.

We started eating the rabbit and it was really good. The herbs made it taste amazingly perfect with the wild taste of the rabbit.  We ate it before Amy handed us each a fish that dried and we tried them and it was good as well. Amy ate a fish and smiled to herself.
