Scarlett's Pov~

I went out and stretch before heading for the alleyway to look for the sleepy cats. It took a bit but I found it. I smiled at the cute name before I opened the door and looked around inside. It was nice, a table sitting on either side of the door with three chairs to each table. This time I heard the bell go off in the back and looked at the door and seen a string attached and leading to the back.

"If this is a game to you kids again, I'll skin you alive." A black cat lady said.

Her ears laying back from being upset before her eyes landed on me and she smiled a soft smile.

"Miss Tabby right?" I asked before she could say anything.

"Oh a customer how can I help and I won't skin you as long as you have coins." She said and walked over to the small counter next to the door leading to the backroom she just walked through.

"I was told by a woman at the guild that you have cheap prices and great meals. Is there any way I can get a room for the night and a warm meal?" I said before asking.

"Sure you can have a room for the night their upstairs and I'm about to make lunch. If you can wait a bit longer I'll fix some sandwiches and soup." She said and waved me over.

I walked over and seen a paper laying on the counter that had prices for different sizes of rooms. There was six rooms in total. Two small, two medium, and two large rooms. For the large rooms it would be 3 gold coin per night staying. For medium rooms it would be 1 gold coins per night, and for the small rooms it would be 10 sliver coins per night.

I reached into my bag and pulled out 10 sliver coins and payed for the small room for the night. She smiled and walked away before poking her head back in.

"Third floor is the small rooms their the attic rooms. The second floor is medium rooms and the first floor which is right above this floor is the large rooms. I hope you can find your room while I fix lunch." She said going back into the backroom.

I headed up and kept track of which floor I'm passing before I got to the top of the stairs and seen the low ceiling and two rooms to the side of the stairs. I looked between the rooms and then thought it over and knocked on the right door, nothing came from it so I went in and seen it was clean and tidy. I took off my bag and set it on the counter and opened the window and seen there was a view of the snow mountains and the town from it. I sat down on the seal and looked out.

After enjoying the view and breeze from the window I closed it and started looking around the room when ,y belly growled. I headed out the door and down the stairs until I got to the front door and I smelled something amazing. I sat down at one of the tables and waited a bit before she walked back in carrying a tray with sandwiches and soup with a glass of water. I smiled and pulled out some coins and waited as she sat the tray down in front of me.

"That will be one sliver coin if you can afford it." She said to me and I handed her one silver coin.

"Thank you! It smells amazing!" I said happily before putting away the other coins and started eating.

~time skip, boarding meal time~

After eating the amazing meal I got up and took my tray over to the counter and waited for a second before placing another sliver coin down and then setting the tray down on top of it.

I called back saying I was going to go out to look for work. As I left the inn I walked back towards the guild. As I got to the doors I opened one set and walked in.

"Oh welcome Scarlett how can we help you?" The cat lady asked as I walked up to the counter.

"I'm looking for work is there any I could take?" I asked her.

She though about it and then pulled out a stone tablet and smiled at me.

"Place your hand on here and I can make you a guild card so you can take jobs and hunts. Well we don't do much hunting but other guild do because they have monsters we have a very peaceful life here so no monster attacks." She said before someone stood beside me with a paper.

I looked over with a glance and it looked to be a canine of some kind. The cat lady smiled and looked over at him.

"I'll be with you in just a second got to make our newest guild members a card and everything." She said before looking at me. "Your hand please."

I raised my hand and touched the stone tablet. It glowed a bit and then she wrote some stuff down and then looked up at me.

"Now we need a drop of your blood on it and your ready to take jobs." She said. Passing a needle and a rag.

I poked my finger with the needle she passed to me and pressed it to the card and it glowed, she smiled at me and nodded.

"How can I help you Rai?" She said as I stepped away while looking at my card that had my information on it.

"I need help I'm looking for an herb that heals burns and stops bleeding. Do you have anyone available to help me look for it?" Rai said and then asked.

"Scarlett how about you help Rai with finding the herbs, seeing as that's your specialty. It would be a good first job." The cat lady said.

I turned and smiled at them. "Sure I'll do what I can to help. Also you never gave me your name miss."

"Oh dear me I forgot to tell you I'm sorry, I'm Kate. It's nice to property meet you." She looked shocked before smiling and waving at me.
