Scarlett's pov~

I woke to the sun shining on my face. I sat up and seen, I'm out in a field of grass, everywhere was grass and until I looked behind me. Huge trees stood there. I stood up and looked around some more before walking away from the forest, farther into the field. This area was flat for the most part, then I seen it, a town maybe.

I thought about jogging towards it, but then I thought against it because then I would need to sit down and rest. For some reason I didn't feel safe to rest here in the field. I knew I needed to get past it to reach the town.

~time skip and hour~

I got to the middle of the field and heard something near me.

"Hello anyone there?" I called out.

"Hello is something wrong?" A voice came beside me.

I looked around until I felt a tug come to my dress. I looked around and then seen a cat person standing beside me.

"Hi, so what's wrong?" They asked again touching my shoulder.

"I think I'm lost could you tell me where I'm at?" I asked and looking at them better.

I tried to listen but I never seen a person that was a standing cat, they looked to be a teenager at most and well built. They waved their hand in front of my face and got my attention again.

"You didn't hear any of that did you?" They asked.

I shoke my head and forced myself to listen to them.

"Well this is the wheat field of spruce town. We're known for building with the great spruce trees past the fields over there. You're about half way to the town if your looking for it. Also don't go into the forest without offering prayers to our goddess Dracul. She protects us all. Is there anything else you might need to know?" They said and then asked.

"Is there a faster way to the town?" I asked.

"Well through the fields is shorter but some farmers don't like people running through the fields. Seeing as you don't have shoes I don't think you'll tear up the fields as much. But if you want to I can take you to the road that leads to the town?" They said waiting.

"Yes I don't want to mess up anyone's hard work by going through the fields." I said

"Sure right this way." The cat person said as they lead the way to the road.

They lead the way and I followed them closely, sure enough there's a dirt road leading towards the forest on the right and the town on the left. I stepped onto the road and turned and bowed to the cat person. "Thank you!" I said to them before taking off towards the village.

I kept walking towards the village and seen some more cat people poking their heads out of the fields and looking at me. I smiled and waved at them. They stopped and stood up and waved back with smiles on their faces. I felt good and kept going towards the town. Once I got there I seen market stalls and houses everywhere.

There is mice and rabbit people working the market stalls while there was more people buying stuff. A cat child ran into my leg and fell over. I crouched down and picked them up and dusted them off.

"Be careful sweetie if your not looking where your going you might get hurt next time." I said softly while checking them over before they looked at me and smiled and then ran off to some other children.

I stood up and dusted myself off. I looked up when I heard footsteps coming closer to me. A rabbit woman with a child in her arms came over to me and smiled at me.

"Sorry for the kids running you over dear. I hope you're okay?" She asked worried.

"I'm fine. I can take a bump now and again." I said happily.

"Dear what are you?" She asked.

I frowned and rubbed my chin before walking over to a fountains and looking in the water and seen a non fur covered person looking back at me. I touched my face with my hairless hands and then looked at myself over I had no ear like the mouse, cat, or rabbit people here. I was a person in a white Middle length dress. I looked myself over and seen I'm not to thin but also not to built. Not to complain I like my size. The rabbit lady came over to me and I looked at her and smiled at her.

"I look human I guess, I did wake up in the grass outside of the forest on the outskirts of the fields to the east." I said "By the way is there a place I can learn more things around here seeing I'm new to town?"

She smiled back and waved me to follow her. I followed her without asking anything else for now. She took me to a building that was big for most of the town.

"This is the guild, we have one because we get travelers coming through looking for jobs from time to time. They might have an answer to your question. Also if you need clothes I have a small clothing shop down the road a bit, it's about two building this way." She said and then pointed to the little sign that was hanging above the door, 'clothing'.

"Thank you I'll stop by when I know what I need to know. Oh my name is Scarlett so please call me that." I said and then called out to her.

I turned and faced the guild and took a deep breath and then slowly let it out before heading for the doors.
