Scarlett's Pov~

I frowned and sighed. I looked him in the face and nodded before getting up and heading up towards my room. I didn't have to say anything Revan just got up and followed me to my room.

"Scarlett, you do know how important this means, don't you?" Revan asked as we got to my room.

I opened the door and stepped to the side to let Revan go in first. Revan went into the room and sat at the desk while I closed the door and walked over to stand in front of him and opened my status menu and showed him. He looked at it and then me. He sighed and stood up and patted my head.

"It's going to be okay but you need to slow down on helping people if you want to stay here. But I wonder why your considered to be half human and not a full human." He asked as he sat back down.

"I'm not sure I've never asked rose about it. So I'm not sure." I said while sitting down on my bed.

"Ask Rose? You do know no one has ever been able to hear her?" He said raising an eyebrow.

I looked up and gulped before sighing and opening my status menu again. "Says here I'm a believer, do you want to learn how to be a believer as well so you can talk to rose as well?" I asked.

"Humm, well it couldn't hurt. Sure teach me." He said closing his eyes and relaxing in the chair.

I stood up and walked over to him and used teacher on him to teach him believer. before I took my hand off his head I thought and used teacher again and thought him the other skills I have.

"Done for now. How do you feel?" I asked him stepping back a bit and looking at him.

"I don't feel any different but my status says I have a lot of new skills. So how do you use believer?" He asked.

I thought about it and sat on the floor and closed my eyes for a bit and then softly said her name. "Rose Dracul."

I heard some giggling and opened my eyes. There sat in front of me was Rose. I looked towards Revan and seen him standing up with a weapon drawn.

"It's okay child he can't hurt me but he can see and hear me now." She said.

He lowered his weapon and sat down beside me. He started asking her questions and she answered him with a smile. Before I knew it she looked at me.

"Thank you child. Revan has been a believer for a long time but unable to hear my voice. Now he can talk to me just like you whenever he needs too. Thank you again Scarlett." She said before wiping her eyes that had tears.

We talked for a while, before we knew it, night had fallen and Rose apologize for keeping us for the whole afternoon. She left us with a meal, we laughed it off and ate our meal.

"Well now that I'm full I might as well go find a room for the night. Good night Scarlett see you in the morning." Revan said before getting up and heading towards the door.

"Wait Revan, do you have money for a night anywhere?" I asked without thinking it fully through.

"I have a piece of gold I'm sure it can get me a room some where. Why what's wrong?" He asked turning to face me.

"Well I know it's not much of a inn but this place has nice rooms that might fit you for a night, and I can cover your cost." I said and smiled at him.

He looked at me for a bit and then sighed. "Alright, but I'll pay for myself. You need to save your money for the projects your thinking of for the town." He said.

I nodded and he patted my head and headed out of the room for the night and I shut the door and went to the bed and fell asleep.

~time skip midnight~

I woke to the sound of beating on a door. I stood up from the bed and slowly went to the door and looked out. There to the room beside mine was a group of people with candles and some kind of weapons.

They beat on the door again before trying to kick it in. I frowned and closed the door softly and then got dressed for battle. Revan gave me some tips on how to fight. I took a deep breath and then headed to the door and slammed it open.

"Who ever is beating on the doors is about to be taken down." I said with a deadly look on my face.

They turned and started towards me. I shut my room door and faced them and raised the broad sword and sat it on my shoulder with one hand and took a step towards them.

They stopped and looked at each other. The guy that didn't quite looking at the door beside my room sighed and started walking down the stairs. When the rest seen him leave they followed behind him while looking back at me at times before they disappears into the dark of the hallway.

I sighed and took the sword off my shoulder and walked over to the door and knocked softly.

"Their gone. Your okay now. Good night Lee." I said softly to not wake anyone else but loud enough for him to hear me.

I walked back to my room and went in and shut the door and put the sword beside the bed for if there's more pounding on doors tonight.

I woke the next morning to light tapping on the door. I got up and opened the door.

"Morning (y/n)." Lee said as he stood there in front of the door with two trays of food.

I looked behind him and seen Revan standing there with one tray of food. I stepped to the side and let them both in. Lee didn't know what to do until Revan carefully pushed him into the room and then came in.

"I ran into Lee down stairs and he looked upset so I though you could help him. So I talked him into carrying your tray of food so we can talk." Revan said to me in a quite voice.

I nodded and shut the door behind them and then moved the broad sword to sit beside the door. I then went over and sat down in the floor as they each took a different spots to eat. Revan took the window seal while Lee took the desk chair.

"How are you feeling Mr. Lee?" I finally asked him.

"I'm fine. I'm doing okay, sorry for the trouble last night I didn't think my loan sharks would come to the inn for their money. I'm so sorry." He said and then bowed to me.

"Oh, how much do you owe them?" I asked him.

He stopped and then sighed. "100 gold pieces for the new axe I needed to buy a couple months ago. I'm so sorry Scarlett."

I waved him off and got up and went for my bag on the desk. I pulled out some coins of it and put it into a smaller bag and handed it to him.

"Use this to pay them off and from now on come to me for money. I won't charge you for using money to help the town." I said with a smile.

He looked at the bag and then me before crying. He sat the bag down and gripped my hands and started crying into them while saying "Thank you." I smiled and rubbed his head.

"It's okay that's what friends are for, we help each other out. Now let's eat before our food gets cold." I said sitting down on the floor and started eating.

We sat there and ate in peace, well kind of, Lee was still sniffing from crying so much. Revan nodded to me showing me that it's the right thing to do. After we ate I stood up and touched Lee's head and taught him believer.

"What did you do to me?" Lee asked.

"I just wanted to give you something to help you, just as I did for Revan. Please go a head and pray for a better day." I said softly.

He got down on his knees and prayed like I asked and then his face light up with happiness as he opened his eyes and looked at us both.

"I can finally hear our goddesses voice. Thank you! Thank you so much Scarlett!" He said getting up and hugging me before grabbing the bag and heading out the door.
