THE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE 2 GOING ABROAD: Basil of Baker Street
(A/N Jamie is a family friend to the Flavershams, but they get kidnapped. Jamie was given a warning to not alert Basil; in fact, she didn't want to due to their history. But she runs into Dawson, who convinces her to let Basil help, so they are on their way to see him.)
Jamie and Dawson were then on Baker Street as she hugged herself nervously. Once there, Dawson unlocked the door and let her in.
(A/N What she looks like.)
"You can take a seat in the chair by the fireplace while I go fetch Ms. Judson," Dawson said.
"Alright," Jamie responded.
And with that, Dawson left the room. Jamie sat in silence for a bit, looking at Basil's chemistry set.
"Same old Basil," Jamie lightly giggled to herself.
"DAWSON!" Basil's voice sounded from outside.
Jamie wasn't prepared for this, so she hid behind the chair. Basil then came charging in.
"I've returned! We need to solve these disappearances!" he declared.
"'Disappearances'? As in more than one?" Jamie whispered.
"Who said that?" Basil asked.
Jamie cupped her mouth shut, disappointed she let herself get caught.
"Come out and show yourself!" he commanded,
She sighed and obeyed, hugging herself. Basil's eyes widened at who he thought was an intruder.
"Jamie?" he asked.
"Hello, Basil," she told him.
"H-Hello. What brings you here?" Basil wondered.
Before she could answer, Dawson and Ms. Judson came in.
"Ah here you go, my dear," Ms. Judson replied, offering her a cup of tea.
"Thank you," Jamie responded, taking it.
Ms. Judson then left the room.
"Ah, Basil. I see you have reacquainted with Ms. Jamie," Dawson said.
"Dawson? You know who this is?" Basil asked.
"I just met her tonight. She is in need of assistance, but due to a warning and her own personal reason, he didn't want you to get involved," Dawson explained.
Basil looked at Jamie, who nervously sipped her tea.
"What is it you need, Ms. Jamie?" Basil asked.
"Well, my friends have been kidnapped, but it feels personal to you because I have been informed you helped them on a separate occasion. And well," Jamie started, pulled the note out, then sai, "the note says it all."
She handed it to him and he took it out and read it aloud, being shocked at the end:
"To whoever finds this,
As you can see, the Flavershams are not home; they are in BIG trouble with our employer. If you even think of coming for the Flaveshams or get Basil of Baker Street to help them, they will Be in worsE shape thaN you can imagine.
Do not dare cross his or our path,
Ratigan's gang"
"The Flavershams? Ratigan? But it can't be," Dawson said, also shocked.
"That's what I thought too. Olivia told me he was dead. But after reading that and seeing this," Jamie started, pulled out the emblem of Ratigan's symbol, then finished, "It seems he isn't dead."
"Well, we will figure this out. I assure you, Jamie. We will get them back," Basil promised.
Jamie lightly smiled and said, "Thank you, Basil."
He returned the smile and they got right to work.
