*TRIGGER WARNING FOR ABUSE*

"You don't know when to shut up!"

"I'm sorry. I didn't know!"

The screams and shouts came from the living room as they did every night. Taehyung let a sigh slip past his lips as he remained sitting on the floor next to the front door. Why? That was the question he asked himself every night. What did they ever do to deserve a life like this? They never hurt anyone, they were straight A students in school. Balling up a fist, Taehyung placed his hands over his head, just wanting it all to stop. He couldn't bitch out now. He was ready to defend his sister again today. Whenever the abuse got bad, Taehyung would always stick up for her. Put his own body between her and their step father. He never hesitated to risk his own life to save hers. He always found a way to make her laugh after the ordeals. To make her smile like she once did all those years ago before all of this started. 

"Leave her be!", He shouted at the older man who in turn scoffed at the boy.

"Oh look, your Knight and shinning armor.", He sneered and Taehyung moved in front of the female.

"I won't say it again. You're drunk.", Taehyung said before getting a punch to the gut.

"Shut up. Only speak when spoken to.", The older man said while Taehyung tried to get the pain to subside.

"Don't hurt him!", His sister cried as he moved to her brother's side.

"He should've minded his own business. He never listens. It's like a broken record.", The man snickered as he finished his beer.

Taehyung could taste copper as his blood stained his tongue.

"Go wash your mouth out. I'll be okay.", She whispered to him and he reluctantly went to the bathroom. He stood in the mirror and stared back at his own reflection.

"This needs to stop.", He mumbled.

Standing up as he heard a loud slap followed by his sister's crying, he decided that it was enough. The original plan was to push him away from her but Taehyung let his anger take over as he body moved on it's own. Without thinking he grabbed a beer bottle from the night stand before bringing it down on his step father's head. That should've been the end of it. He should've stopped there. But he didn't.

So I've decided to come back to Wattpad for a bit. How are you guys? How's life? You eating good and staying hydrated? Getting good sleep?(What is sleep?)

This is just a small snippet to Taehyung's portion. These won't be that long, about 3-4 chapters. Just wanted to show you guys something, since I haven't written anything in a long time. When I'll actually post the first chapter, idk since I've started my senior year of college but please bare with me. I'll try my best to get back into my groove. -Jinn_Jinn
