Severus looks at the invitation the weaslys sent to him still confused. Yes he helped them in the war but that doesn't make him anyone's friend. He recognizes the handwriting as Harry potters.
Severus sighed and look around noticing that it's late. Deciding that he has nothing better to do and that he has not seen draco in a while and hes there, hell go.
He grabs his cloak and apareate to the burrow. He walks past the wards and to the door telling himself it's a horrid idea. When he gets to the door he stands there thinking about just turning around. But the door opens to harry standing there smiling. "You made it!" Harry says happly and pulling severus in. Severus looks at him and can tell he is drunk.
Harry leads him to the living room were everyone is. Draco looks at them and smirks. Harry has severus sit down and he sits next to him.
Molly smiles and says, "I'm glad you could make it Severus"
"Thank you for the invitation." Severhs replys grinning.
She offers him food and he politely declines and he talk to draco.
As midnight gets closer harry gets more drunk and makes more and more advances on severus.
Then just as midnight was a minute away everyone was paring up. Harry smiles and stays close to severus who is looking at him weirly.
Then the clock struck twelve and everyone said happy new years and starting kissing. And harry pulls severus to him and kisses him.
Severus jumps and pulls away and harry smiles drunkenly at him. Then severus leavs. Harru frowns and draco kisses Ron one last time and fallows severus.
Severus looks at draco as he comes in.
"Hey godfather. What's wrong?"
"Potter kissed me. I mean. What the fuck." Severus says angerly.
Draco blinks and says, "you sound childish. And he does love you."
  "That's bullshit he was drunk. Hee be disgusted when he isnt." Severus says rolling his eyes.
Draco sighes. "I have been spending time with Ron and harry. Harry loves you he said so."
"Itll pass." Severus says waving his hand.
Draco sighes and leavs.

The next day harry goes to severus house. Severus glares at him and harry says, "I just want to apologize. I can not excuse my actions. But im sorry."
Severhs ignores him still glaring at him.
"Proffesore. I know draco told you. And I do love you." Harry says grinning.
"Itll pass." Severus practically growls.
"No I promise. Please give me a chance." Harry says pleading.
Severus looks at him confused
"You can virtrasearum me. See if I'm lieing." Harry says in the same pleading tone.
"Fine. I I belive you. And. I guess we can try." Severus says looking at harry uncertain.
Harry smiles and hugs him.
Severus slowly hugs him back.
Harry smiles and says, "new years new begging."
Severus nods slowly. "I guess." Then he thinks to himself. Maybe my resolution can be, be more happier. Harry will help with that.
