3.1 Reality Check
"Roohi, why are you throwing away Daksh's toys?" Charu asked, her voice laced with confusion. But before Charu could even finish her question, Ruhi's expression turned icy.
"His name is not Daksh, it's Ruhaan!" Ruhi snapped, her voice rising in anger. "I don't want anything that reminds me of Abhira near my child."
Ruhi's eyes blazed with determination as she clutched Ruhaan tightly to her chest.
"I'm erasing every trace of Abhira from our lives, including Daksh's name. From now on, my son's name is Ruhaan, and I won't let anyone or anything from Abhira's past come between us."
"Ruhaan will get all new toys!" Ruhi declared, her voice dripping with excitement. "And to celebrate his new name, I'm throwing him a party where I'll officially announce his name to the world!"
She beamed with pride, her eyes shining with happiness as she gazed at Ruhaan. "It'll be a fresh start for both of us, and I want to make it special."
Armaan's footsteps faltered as he reached the bottom of the stairs, his eyes fixed on the scene unfolding before him.
He felt like he had been punched in the gut, his breath knocked out of him. Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes as he listened to Ruhi's words, his heart shattering into a million pieces.
Armaan felt like he was losing everything that mattered to him, like his whole world was crumbling around him.
He couldn't bear the thought of living without Abhira by his side. The pain was too much to bear, and Armaan felt like he was drowning in his own grief.
Dadisa's voice was firm and authoritative, her eyes flashing with a fierce determination. "Roohi, you will not throw away Daksh's toys, and his name is not going to change!" she declared, her words leaving no room for argument.
But Ruhi's face twisted in defiance, her eyes blazing with a fierce intensity. "Dadisa, Daksh's name was kept by Abhira, and I don't want anything related to her near my child," she spat, her voice venomous. "Abhira is dead to me, and I won't let her memory haunt me or my son."
Dadisa's expression turned stern, her face pale with shock. "Roohi, how can you say such a thing?" she asked, her voice trembling with emotion. "Abhira was your sister, your family. You can't just erase her from our lives like she never existed."
As Abhir stepped into the Poddar house, he was met with a scene of chaos. Ruhi's anger boiled over, and she hurled the toys scattered around her to the floor.
The air was electric with tension, and Abhir's eyes widened as he watched the toys go flying. One soft toy, a small stuffed rabbit, landed with a soft thud near his feet, its glassy eyes staring up at him.
Abhir's gaze flicked up to Ruhi, taking in her flushed face and blazing eyes, and he knew that something was very wrong.
Ruhi's chest heaved with ragged breaths as she stood amidst the scattered toys, her eyes flashing with a fierce intensity. Abhir took a cautious step forward, his hands held out in a calming gesture. "Ruhi, what's going on?" he asked softly, trying to keep his voice gentle.
But Ruhi just shook her head, her eyes welling up with tears. "You don't understand, Abhir," she spat, her voice venomous. "You don't know what it's like to lose everything, to have your whole world turned upside down."
"I'll listen, I'll try to understand. Just tell me what's going on."
But Ruhi just laughed, a harsh, mocking sound. "You think you can fix everything, Abhir?" she sneered. "You think you can just waltz in here and make everything okay?
Ruhi's voice was shrill and angry as she pointed a trembling finger at the door. "Why are you here? Go to Abhira naa!" she spat, her eyes blazing with a fierce intensity.ell, you can't. Some things can't be fixed."
Abhir's expression faltered, and he took a step back, his eyes dropping to the floor. He seemed taken aback by Ruhi's outburst, and for a moment, he looked like he didn't know what to say or do.
Ruhi's words hung in the air like a challenge, her voice echoing off the walls as she shouted, "I don't know what black magic that Abhira had done on this family!" Her eyes blazed with a fierce accusation, her face twisted in a mixture of anger and pain.
Ruhi's words cut through the air like a knife, her venomous tone and hateful language making Abhir's blood boil. "Jisse dekho Abhira Abhira Abhira. I just hope she dies!" she shouted, her eyes blazing with a fierce intensity.
Abhir's face darkened with anger, his eyes flashing with a fierce protectiveness towards Abhira. He took a step forward, his hand rising, and before anyone could react, he slapped Ruhi hard across the face, the sound echoing through the room.
But Abhir didn't stop there. His anger consumed him, and he slapped Ruhi again and again, each blow landing with a loud crack. Ruhi stumbled backward, her eyes wide with shock and fear, as Abhir's fury unleashed itself upon her.
Dadisa rushed forward, trying to intervene, but Abhir pushed her away, his eyes blazing with a fierce intensity. "How dare you!" he spat, his voice low and menacing. "How dare you wish death on Abhira!"
Ruhi's face was red and swollen, her eyes streaming with tears, but Abhir didn't relent. He grabbed her shoulders, his fingers digging deep into her skin, and shook her hard. "You're her sister, Ruhi," he growled. "You're supposed to love and protect her, not wish her harm."
The room was silent, the only sound the heavy breathing of Abhir's anger and Ruhi's sobs. Dadisa stood frozen, her eyes wide with horror, as Abhir's fury continued to rage out of control.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Abhir's grip on Ruhi's shoulders relaxed, and he stepped back, his chest heaving with exhaustion. Ruhi collapsed to the floor, her body shaking with sobs, as Abhir stood over her, his eyes still blazing with anger.
Abhir's words cut through the air like a sharp knife, piercing Ruhi's defenses and striking at the very heart of her being.
"You know what your problem is, Ruhi?" he spat, his voice venomous with contempt. "Your hate for Abhira is much bigger than the love for your child. You don't want your child's happiness, but Abhira's sadness."
