Chapter 9 - Shoot 2
(Y/N)'s POV.
I smiled as I scrolled through my feed on Instagram during lunch. My friends were all sat around talking like normal after helping me with choosing which photos were the best from my second shoot.
Two notifications popped up on my screen:
•@ TJefferson liked your post.
•@ TJefferson commented on your post.
I rolled my eyes and scrolled to my recent post from yesterday. It was one of the pictures he'd sent me from his second week shoot - we'd been playing around with fairy lights and I have to admit, I kinda enjoyed myself.
...even if I was stuck with him. It's been more bearable since we called a truce.
Cheeky shit.
I smirked and replied to his comment.
At this moment, Alex spat out his coffee, seeing something on his phone.
"What's so funny?" John asked, rubbing his boyfriend's back to stop him choking on air. The raven haired boy turned his phone to the rest of us. It was my comment to Jefferson. Everyone started laughing - even Aaron.
"You savage." Laf high fived me.
"Thanks." I stood up and grabbed my bag and folder, ready to leave the canteen.
"Where you going?" Peggy asked.
"I have some research to do in the library," I frowned. "I'll meet you all later though - it is Friday."
There was a chorus of okays and byes as I walked to the book and computer filled room. My eyes scanned the room, looking for a free computer. I smiled once I spotted one of the macs and walked to sit down.
"I don't know which one is better James." I heard a familiar southern account from a few feet away. It was Thomas and James stood by the printer.
"You're asking me which is best?" James asked. "Ask (Y/N). She'll know."
"I can't ask her when she's in them." I laughed to myself, causing the southerners to turn and spot me. James laughed as he saw Thomas' face fall in surprise.
"Need some help?" I offered, kicking a swivel chair to the table that was joined to my own. Thomas sat down and nodded.
"Oh look at the time, I've gotta go." Madison smirked and ran out of the library before we could stop him.
"What's with him?" I queried.
"No idea." I moved my chair next to him and turned my computer screen so I could still work. He sighed. "Which looks better?"
"Well, I posted the left one but I prefer the umbrella one. Personally." I Said. Jefferson smiled and muttered something to himself, looking surprised when he did and shaking his head. "You good?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Uh Huh." He nodded. "Perfect." He didn't sound too sure but I decided against asking further questions.
"Anyway, I need your opinion now," I pulled out my two favourite photos and put them on the table. "Which one?"
"I like the pages of the bottom one," he started, his voice wavering.
"But?" I Said for him.
"But I like the Ferrero Roche in the other."
"You upper class prick." I playfully hit his arm, both of us laughing.
"You love it really."
"Sure." I rolled my eyes, face growing warm. "Hey, I have an idea."
"What?"
"Wanna join me and the squad for our stream tonight?" I asked.
He hesitated. I knew that once upon a time I wouldn't have dreamed of asking him that but I mean... we were almost friends now I guess.
"You don't have to if-"
"I never said no. I'd love to come over. Just don't expect me to be pally with Hamilton."
