~Ice cream~
~
A/n: song doesn't match the chapter
The younger girl put her phone to the side, smiling widely while staring at her white ceiling for a second.
She couldn't quite believe that she was really going on a date with Bang Chan now.
Even after all these days, it felt so weird. Julia saw him everywhere, on big screens in Seoul and everywhere in social media.
She used to watch his vlives every Sunday, just to now what he was doing in that exact moment even if it was just for an hour.
And now she was able to hug and cuddle him. They even kissed.
She burried her red face into her hands giggling before standing up with a new energy.
Walking to her closet, the half German woman thought about what to wear and what will happen in the next few days.
She knew that the next day, would probably be the day she'll cut and dye her hair, even if she was hesitant.
She wanted short hair, but on the other side she loved her long hair too.
Chan was always so supportive in almost everything she did, which usally made every decision easier for her, but this time it was a little harder.
Opening her closet, she looked at all her clothes, not knowing what to choose.
It was just a casual date in the park, nothing special and she had to wear a mask and hat anyways.
So she went for a casual, dark blue pair of jeans and a comfortable white pullover that reminded her of Chan's levanter photo shoot.
While walking into the bathroom she put her hair into a low, loose bun, pulling two strains of her hair out like she always did.
Turning on the bathroom lights, she looked into the mirror and for the first time in forever she felt pretty.
Not only pretty, but beautiful.
It shocked her in some way that she felt like this, since she used to hate herself.
And now he loved how her collarbones stood out, how her hair matched with her outfit, how skinny but healthy she looked like, her waist, her hips, her curves.
She felt like she finally loved herself in some way.
The huge amount of happiness she felt was so overwhelming, she started to tear up with a bright smile plastered on her face.
And she confidently walked down to her boyfriend with that smile, that shouted joy.
As soon as she stood in front of him, he felt like falling in love with her all over again. Gently wrapping his arms around her waist, excitement building up, he whispered: "You're so beautiful, my precious flower."
She chuckled softly, "You're handsome yourself, Kangaroo"
Chan didn't say anything, he just smiled at her, staring at her face as if she was his whole world. The sparkles in his eyes, as he got lost in hers, lit up and the atmosphere was getting calmer.
"Why are you staring at me like this?", Julia giggled embarrassed burying her face into his chest. Chan's laugh send waves of warm emotions through her body.
"Because I love you", he replied, with a smile that showed his dimples.
He gently intertwined their fingers, giving her a quick peck on the lips, causing a huge wave of excitement in the both of them: "Come on, let's go"
And with that they made their way to one of the rather unknown parks in South Korea, about half of an hour away from Jessica's house.
Chan parked his car at an empty area, opening Julia's door like the gentleman he is.
Julia smiled at Chan, before both put on their masks. While the female put on a cute beanie Chan gave her, the male pulled the hood over his head.
"Let's get some ice cream", Chan suggested right before they even started to walk.
The younger one giggled, nodding her head cutely, before they started to walk through the green area.
Just a few older humans saw the young couple happily walking around hand in hand.
They were just enjoying the nature, listening to the calming sound of the wind, the rustling leaves and the birds.
They new they had finally found some sort a peace together.
It was their one month anniversary and they've already been through a lot.
One month.
A little but important milestone.
"What ice cream do you want?", Chan asked the little one, taking his black wallet out.
"Mint choco", she replied smiling widely.
"You like mint choco?", the older one was obviously surprised.
Julia nodded her head yes, making him chuckle.
"Okey dokey."
While the male got ice cream for the two of them, the female looked around feeling like someone was watching them.
Maybe it was just her anxiety that started to kick in, because she didn't see anyone.
"Here's your ice cream in a cup because I remember you said you don't like cones."
Chan gave her the cold, white cup with the familiar green, brown ice cream.
"Thank you.", Julia's eyes sparkles at the sight.
Chan laughed.
"What?"
"You're adorable. Let's find a place to sit", he suggested, gently intertwining their fingers once again.
It didn't take long for them to find a bench somewhere in the park that gave them a little opportunity of privacy.
They took of their masks, Julia immediately starting to eat the ice cream, while Chan grabbed his phone to make some pictures.
The younger one got a little shy after she noticed what her boyfriend was doing, so she recommended him to make a selfie.
They ended up sending the pictures to the members and their families, received a lot of positive messages.
"Oh my gosh, I forgot. My parents wanted to talk to you, remember?", Chan giggled nervously, scratching the back of his head.
Julia widened her eyes as Chan's phone rang right after that.
He picked up the phone, ready to be confronted by his mother.
"Hi mom", Chan hesitantly greeted.
"Hi Chan! I thought I might call because the last time you wanted to introduce us to your girlfriend you forgot", his mother scolded nicely.
"Sorry about that", he apologized.
"Is she with you? Mind if we video call?"
"Oh, yeah sure."
And in no time, his mother switched to a video call, both able to see her face on the little screen.
Julia was a little surprised, because she wasn't prepared for that.
Chan turned the camera towards the female so his mother was able to see both.
"Wow! You're so pretty! My son is really lucky. He told me a lot about you!", his mother marveled.
Chan's ears got red almost immediately, while he giggled embarrassed.
"Nice to meet you, Mrs Bang. I'm Julia. I would've loved to introduce myself face to face without technology. Maybe that'll be possible one day", the younger one smiled weakly.
"I hope we can all see us one day. By the way, please call me Jessica. No need to be too formal"
