3rd Person's POV:
~the nightmare~
~
It was 9 am as Chan woke up to a familiar, empty, cold space beside him.
But that day it somehow didn't feel as familiar as it should have.
Chan walked down to the living room with a little frown on his face, still thinking about this sudden emptiness he felt.
But that feeling almost completely vanished as he heard the soft snoring coming from the couch.
Chan smiled widely as he saw Jeongin laying in Julia arms, both were still peacefully sleeping.
And just like Felix, Jeongin was laying in Julia's arms and not the other way around.
Chan questioned why, since Julia is always in Chan's arms, whenever they cuddled.
He shrugged it off and watched the two of them for a while, before taking a picture and making breakfast.
Shortly after Chan took some eggs out of the fridge, Jeongin got thrown off the couch by Julia, because she suddenly woke up screaming: "CHAN!"
It took Julia a while to realise that everything was just a dream and to notice that she throw Jeongin off the couch.
As Chan heard the scream he immediately ran to the two of them, worry filled his eyes.
Well that was an unexpected situation.
"I'm so sorry", Julia apologized to the younger one on the ground while breathing heavily.
"It's fine but what the heck did you dream of that you wake up sweating crying and breathing like crazy?", Jeongin asked confused as he got up from the floor.
"I-umm nothing important", Julia stuttered nervously, helping Jeongin up from the floor.
She wanted to tell someone but the dream had something to do with Chan and Jeongin didn't know enough to understand everything.
"You don't have to tell us, baby. Just know that I'm here for you okay?", Chan smiled at Julia, while he softly tucked her hair behind her ears, so he could wipe her tears away.
Julia enjoyed his gentle touches and closed her eyes while relaxing.
His touch somehow seemed to take all the pain away, mentally and physically.
"I can't explain how thankful I am to have you", Julia whispered, hearing her heartbeat in her ears.
"I'm thankful to have you, Ju", he replied, placing a soft kiss on her forehead which made Julia open her eyes and smile.
"Let's make breakfast. I am hungry", Jeongin mumbled grumpy, trying to change the topic because he felt like the third wheel.....
After breakfast, Chan drove Julia to the forest were her car was still standing and since Jeongin still needed some advice and Chan was scared that Julia would go into the forest again, Jeongin drove with Julia.
"I think I will talk to Hyunjin today", Jeongin suddenly broke the silence.
"You sure?", Julia asked surprised.
"Nope, but both deserve happiness. Areum shouldn't cry at night anymore and Hyunjin needs someone to reminds him of his worth", he answered truthfully.
"But you deserve happiness too", Julia arguemented.
Jeongin sighed sadly: "Maybe the time just hasn't come yet"
"I think you were the right person, just at the wrong time", Julia tried to cheer him up but it seemed to make him sadder.
"Maybe you're right....", Jeongin whispered as he started to stare out of the window.
Julia turned on the music to avoid the kind of awkward silence between the two of them as they continued to drive to the dorm.
As they arrived, Julia quickly said goodbye to Jeongin and Chan and waited for Mia and Hayley to come out of the building. Which they did after 6 minutes.
On their way back Hayley and Mia talked about their perfect cuddle evening and their conversations with their boyfriend.
Julia just listened while her focus was on the street.
She was really happy for the other two girls and smiled, thinking that they deserved everything they have.
But the positivity slowly faded as the negative thoughts ran through her mind.
Luckily that happened as they were just walking into their house.
"I'll go to my room, sleeping a bit. I didn't get that much rest. I'll probably start practicing and produce some things after that so don't worry. I won't run away", Julia fake laughed as she made her way up to her room.
"Sleep well!", Mia shouted, so Julia was able to hear it.
She weakly smiled before letting herself fall down on her bed and immediately curling up into a ball.
She didn't know if that was just her personality or her period, but either ways the mood swings sucked.
Julia teared up as the dream came back into her head....
It was one sunny day in winter. Snow was everywhere, shining brighter than ever before.
Chan and Julia were peacefully walking up a little hill in the forest, hand in hand.
While Julia admired every little detail of the forest, Chan admired his girlfriend.
It all seemed so peaceful, until Josh suddenly threw Chan to the side, making him fall down of that hill.
Everything happened so fast, she didn't even hear Josh coming. He just appeared and left her no time to react.
Julia's heart ached as she quickly ran towards the abyss, only to see Chan's lifeless body laying there.
"No...no..no,no,no,no", she mumbled while tears where endlessly streaming down her cheeks.
She ran down to him as fast as possible, shaking him as if she thought it would bring him back.
"Please don't leave!", Julia begged under her sobs, shaking him harder.
But he was dead. There was nothing that could bring him back.
"I can't loose you too", she sobbed feeling her whole world collapse.
"CHAN!"
Julia remembered every detail of that nightmare and knew that she wouldn't be able to forget it so easily.
The thought of losing Chan was enough to make her shake in fear.
After thirty-minutes of just crying, the emptiness washed over her. That's the part she hated the most. The emptiness after you have cried for so long.
Julia wanted to feel something, anything. So she quickly stood up and changed into some comfy clothes, before she rushed into the dance room with her phone.
She turned on some music and closed her eyes to feel it.
The bass send shivers down her spine and made her feel alive.
Dancing was a new way to let her emotions out, to feel something. It was her way not to fall back to old habits.
Julia started with some simple stretching before really starting to dance.
And it suddenly felt like she was speaking a different language;
Expressing her feeling through every single move she made.
Julia danced and danced and danced, not allowing herself to make a single break.
She didn't care about how dizzy she sometimes felt, she just wanted to avoid this emptiness.
Sweat was streaming down her body as she danced to one song often another.
"Julia stop! You're going to collapse!", Hayley shouted worried, immediately turning of the music and running to the older girl.
Just as the music stopped, Julia noticed how exhausted she was as she heard her heartbeat and felt her knees get week.
Julia let herself fall to the ground not caring about the pain.
Hayley rushed to her handing her a bottle of water, which Julia drank in an instant.
"How late is it?", Julia asked under her breaths.
"6pm, you've been here since 3 hours", Hayley said harshly, worried about the older girl.
Julia sighed heavily: "I'll go shower now, I probably smell horrible"
"And you should rest a bit", Hayley reminded strictly, Julia just nodded before she walked to the bathroom and took a quick shower to free her from these thoughts.
But that didn't fully help so she sat on her bed, starting to work on some songs on her laptop.
Julia didn't really feel tired and tried to distract herself as much as possible.
She didn't want to fall asleep, the fear of seeing Chan's lifeless body was too big.
So Julia just sat there working on songs and lyrics for almost the rest of the day.....
