I just wanted to clarify that Josh and Tyler have known each other for about three months now, okay enjoy :)

Josh had been living with Tyler for about two weeks. The two spent as much time with each other as humanly possible. Tyler practically went wherever Josh went, unless it was to use the bathroom. Josh had taken Tyler on only one date, a simple lunch date, over those two weeks.

Tyler had a great idea planned.

The weather was getting colder, being October, so he told Josh to dress in sweats and to wear a hoodie. Tyler did the same. Then he made Josh stay inside while he went out to load stuff into Josh's truck. Josh knew Tyler was up to something.

Tyler came back in and tied a t-shirt around Josh's eyes, using it as a make-shift blindfold. He led Josh out to the vehicle and helped him get in.

"Are we taking my truck, Tyler?"

"Mhm."

"Why?"

"Can't tell."

Josh groaned, resulting in a laugh from Tyler.

"Just trust me, you will love this."

"I better."

Tyler began driving into the night. He drove with his high beams on, radio off. Tyler felt an extreme sense of peace and serenity as he drove silently in the dark. Josh tried to speak but Tyler only hushed him.

"Just listen to the silence, and enjoy."

Tyler usually hated silence. There was no distraction from the thoughts running rampage in his mind. However, with Josh sitting quietly next to him, his thoughts seemed to stay submerged.

Within 20 minutes, Josh felt Tyler park somewhere and was helped out of the truck.

"Are you ready?!" Tyler asked excitedly.

"Been ready, baby," Josh laughed.

"Okay," Tyler blushed. "One, Two, Three!"

Tyler removed the t-shirt from over Josh's eyes. Josh looked around, confused.

"It's dark. I can't see anything."

Tyler let out a little chuckle.

"Well, for one, your eyes have to adjust to the darkness. And for two, look up."

Josh's gaze turned toward the sky and he let out an audible gasp. The sky was a beautiful mixture of black, purple, and blue hues. The stars twinkled as if they were waving to the crescent moon above.

"Where are we?" Josh asked in awe.

"I used to come here all the time. To clear my mind, you know? Beautiful, isn't it?"

"Very," Josh nodded. "But not nearly as beautiful as you, Ty."

"Oh, whatever."

"I saw the opportunity and I took it."

Both of the boys laughed.

"And watch this," Tyler started.

He turned towards the trees, as they were in an opening, and let out a scream. He screamed loud and long. And then he screamed some words.

"Is there anybody out there?!"

"Hello?!" He yelled, dragging out the 'o'.

Josh watched, confused but in awe.

"We're completely alone. That used to scare me. In fact, I screamed those exact same words in this exact same place a few months ago. My mind wasn't in a good place. That's changed, now. I'm glad we're alone."

"Wow, Ty... I don't know what to say."

"That's alright."

Tyler opened the trunk and informed Josh that he had loaded pillows and blankets in there for them. The two laid silently, gazing up at the starry night above them. They were cuddling under heavy blankets. Tyler felt so warm and safe with Josh.

He glanced up at him while Josh was still looking at the star-littered sky. The moonlight casted a beautiful glow over Josh. His eyelashes fluttered as his eyes swept from side to side, trying to take in the whole sky. Josh had his arms tight around Tyler. His lips were formed in a smile, making his eyes go a little squinty. Tyler loved his smile so much. He watched Josh take his bottom lip in between his teeth before he spoke.

"Tyler, I love you."

"I love you too, so much."

And Tyler meant it. He doubted that he could be more in love with Josh than he was in this moment. Josh looked down at the younger and grinned.

"How much?"

"So much that I have another surprise for you."

They both sat up and Tyler dug around under the blankets beside him. Josh watched as Tyler pulled out a ukulele, lips pulled back in a tiny smile.

"You're going to sing for me?"

Tyler nodded.

"What song?"

Tyler smiled knowingly as he began singing.

"Wise men say..."

Josh gasped, already knowing what song it was. His heart fluttered as Tyler began singing. His voice was incredibly beautiful.

"Only fools rush in,
but I can't help falling in love with you"

Tyler gave Josh a smile and Josh smiled back, tears of joy now filling his eyes.

"Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin,
If I can't help falling in love with you?"

Josh gave in and let the tears flow, tightly clutching a pillow to his chest as if he were hugging Tyler.

"Like a river flows,

Some things are meant to be..."

Josh wanted so badly to stop Tyler and just hug the life out of him right there. But he decided he would much rather listen to the rest of the song first.

Josh's tears were flowing as Tyler finished. He felt so soft but wasn't embarrassed. He was never embarrassed around Tyler. Tyler set his uke down and pulled Josh in for a tight hug.

They stayed like that for quite some time. Tyler was the first one to pull away.

"Did you like it?"

"Did you not see me crying?" Josh joked, making Tyler giggle.

"Maybe you were crying because I was making you go deaf."

"No, I'm so happy. I'm so happy I'm with you, Ty. I love you so much."

Josh gave Tyler a soft peck before continuing his ramble.

"You're my precious baby. You have the voice of an angel. I'm just so emotional right now. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

Tyler blushed uncontrollably, taking that last sentence as more than Josh probably intended. But he was wrong, Josh really did want to be with Tyler forever.

"Thanks," Tyler whispered, pulling Josh in for another hug.

They laid back down and covered back up. Tyler cuddled into Josh's side. Josh's arms were wrapped protectively around Tyler. Tyler stared up at the stars this time while Josh stuck by his "Tyler is far too pretty to not stare at" rule.
