Part 5, Reminder
Every day is the same. I've spent so much time in this room I not only stink but I can't walk or speck. I wake up, eat then sleep until there was a bang on my door, startling me awake. I'm then dragged out of my room. I have no strength left to walk on my own. I'm taken into a room where I'm pulled into a comforting embrace.
"Oh god, look how thin you've gotten." A familiar voice mummer softly, I look into the light blue eyes of my mother's. Her once brown hair has gone white in patches. Tears prick my eyes as I stare at my mother face. I'm surprised she's came to see me, I'd expect she'd be disappointed in me.
Behind my mother I see my sisters and my father. They all came to see me; tears begin to fall from my eyes. I'm so happy to see my family again.
"Don't worry pumpkin, we taking you home." My mother smiled before pulling me in for another hug. Home, I'm finally going home. I see the doctor give mum a bottle of pills, but I took no notice.
On the way home, we stop to get me food; I've been eating barely anything for who knows how long. With so much real food in my stomach, a warm blanket wrapped around me and the warmth in the car I'm lulled to sleep with a smile. I roll in a wheelchair as we enter the house. Everything looks the same from what I remember.
Weeks pass as I slowly learn how to walk and talk again. Slowly I'm able to look after myself without need someone else's help. Even if I'm home, I still have the collar around my neck and slow beep comes from something in my left arm reminds me of where I've been as well as what happened to me.
