No one sees me leave. I take a moment to get a drink from the bottle I have in my locker. The tears dry on my checks. I feel light headed, my ears started to ring. The slow pulse in my arm has slowed down to a dull hum. Black started to spot the corners of my eyes. Pain pulses in my chest, making it hard to breathing. It feels like I'm choking.

I clutch my chest as I gasp for air. I stumble slightly, losing my balance as I drop to my knees. My vision has gone black, it's like if I have my eyes closed even though I know they are wide open. All I hear is just a deafening ringing; it sounds like I'm underwater, everything sounds muffled. The dull hum in my arm has slowed so much. My arm tingles as it goes numb. The pulse in my arm has stopped. I feel the cold stone ground come up and great me as I finally collapse; warm blood trickling down my face is the last thing I feel.

I walk to the sound of beeping next to me. I slowly open my eyes to blinding whiteness. Looking around, I find I'm in a hospital bed. A heart monitor shows my slow heart beat on its digital screen. My head feels fuzzy, I rise my hand up to rub my head and I feel a bandage on the side of my face. I hear voices coming from outside, I try to see who it is but the movement makes my head throb in pain. The door opens and I hear two sets of footsteps enter.

I see my mum enter with a doctor holding a clipboard.
"It's good to see you awake, Miss Tol." The doctor said as he looks down at his clipboard. My mum looks worried. "There's something I need to tell you. After doing some tests we found an abnormally with your heart. I spoke with your mum and I suggest a heart monitor. It will track your heart beat and will signal us whenever you are close to collapsing or when you do collapse." I try to speak but my throat is dry and just comes out as raspy gasps.
