🌟Baby George🌟
-III-
The light seemed to shine only for George today. Its blinding beams shone through his window and engulfed him with a warm blanket of light. Soon enough to the heat began to irk George's peaceful sleep.
George opened his eyes slightly and immediately cringed as the lights met his sore eyes. He stood up from his bed and stretched his rested muscles and collected his toiletries to get ready for the day.
A few minutes have passed and George was fresh and wide awake, prepared to start the day. He grabbed his rose gold phone and placed it in the back pocket of his skinny jeans. He exited his room and bounced down the stairs to meet his mother sitting at the table reading the newspaper.
"Oh Georgie, my grown man!" His mother exclaimed as she stood up to give her son a hug. Soon enough his father walked in on them and joined in. It was a little family moment.
"Our little boy is going to be the last to leave us." George's dad, Harold, spoke wholeheartedly. His mother, Louise, began to tear up at the thought.
"Don't cry mom, I'll always be your little boy no matter what." He spoke softly as he comforted her by rubbing her back slowly.
"I know, but after your other siblings graduated, they left immediately, I'm just glad you're still here." George recalled the moment all his siblings left the house. He felt sad after their leaving, he could not imagine how his parents felt.
"You'll have me for just a little while but I'll always visit you." George spoke truthfully. "Anyways, I'm going to Paul's place and practice."
His mother and father released him and George shuffled away.
"Love you guys." George called out. His mother said it back while his father nodded.
Once George's foot slapped the concrete sidewalk, he instantly yanked out his phone. His phone blew up with messages from friends and family congratulating him on graduating. George thanked them all for their kind words and proceeded to check all the other messages.
While his fingers were tapping furiously away on his phone, he completely forgot to stop for breakfast, but he knew Paul had food at his house.
