It was parent's weekend and Esmeralda seemed nervous since she's last seen her mother like about a year ago.

It was also early in the morning before every parent would arrive and Ajax had passed a note to Esmeralda to meet him in his dorm.

His hands were on her waist whilst hers were on his neck. His lips were on hers while they sat on his bed.

Parents' weekend was today and Sunday. Ajax's mom was finally coming and so was Esme's.

Ajax pulled away from the kiss. "How are we going to sneak away to you know, kiss while-"

"They're here?" Ajax and Esmeralda told each other at the same time. Ajax nodded. "Just say you're going to your dorm to grab something, then boom." She sent him a wink before Ajax smiled and placed his lips back on hers.

Xavier had barged into the room while the two were kissing. Xavier, Enid, Wednesday, and Marice were the only ones who knew about Ajax and Esmeralda.

Esmeralda and Ajax pulled away quickly. "Dude, can you guys like kiss later? Everyone's parents are here already." Esmeralda gulped before she stood up and grabbed her blazer before putting it on. Ajax did the same as the two walked out. Xavier closed the door.

Esmeralda made her way downstairs to the quad where every student were waiting for their parents to arrive. Esmeralda made her way outside to find her older sister and mother outside waiting for her.

"My sister!" Katrina announced as she pulled Esme into a hug. Her mother, Megan had stood there. "Hola, Esmeralda." She greeted. "Mother," Esmeralda replied. Katrina stood there in awkwardness. "Shall we go to the quad?" Katrina suggested and Megan sighed before walking to the quad with the other parents.

As Megan was walking she saw Medusa Petropolis. Medusa was talking to Ajax before she made eye contact with Megan. Medusa had told Ajax something before he looked at the Zamora family and nodded.

Esmeralda looked at Ajax before Esmeralda walked with her sister and mother. "Nevermore was created as a safe haven for our children to learn and to grow, and to get to know each other better. No matter who or what they are." Weems announced as everyone clapped.

Esmeralda and Ajax weren't far apart from each other, Ajax placed his hands in his pockets before he looked over to Esmeralda. Esmeralda did the same.

Weems started to talk about Eugene and how he was attacked by the monster in the woods. He was okay but he was also on the mend. "So let's make this Parents Weekend the very best yet!" Weems smiled before everyone clapped once more.

"Can you still believe they let a Pyscho into this school? She killed two boys." Megan whispered to her kids.

"That Psycho is my friend, mother," Esmeralda told her mother. Megan gave her a look before she sighed. "We'll I assume you still haven't made contact with the Gorgons hm?" Megan asked as Esmeralda gulped before nodding. Katrina wanted to clear the fighting between the mother and daughter's fighting.

"So Essy, I heard Ophelia Hall won the Poe Cup," Katrina asked. Esmeralda looked to her sister before smiling. "Yeah, we did. Xavier was pretty mad and Ajax also-"

"Ajax? You're friends with Ajax Petropolis?" Megan asked. Esmeralda rolled her eyes before she spoke. "No mother. I'm not friends with Ajax Petropolus I know how his mother and you would get if we were friends." Esmeralda spoke with her arms crossed.

"Esmer!" Enid cheered out which stopped the fighting between her mother and her. Esmeralda turned to look at Enid. "Shall we get to the thing we had planned?" Enid gave an awkward smile. Esmeralda tilted her head and furrowed her brows. "Right! Yeah," Esmeralda responded.

"Esmeralda. You'll meet me back here in thirty before dinner, correct?" Her mother asked. "Yes, mother." She huffed before grabbing her bag and walking off with Enid.

"Thank you, Enid, I couldn't handle arguing with my so-called mother." Esmeralda thanked her. Enid gave a warm smile.

"I overheard Ajax's mom talking about your family. They still don't know about you and him. And if you don't tell them eventually they'll find out everything and they'll probably pull you guys apart." Enid explained.

"Great. This is exactly like my favorite love trope. Forbidden Lovers." Esmeralda claimed. "Maybe I should listen to some Selena to brighten the mood," Esmeralda added. Enid furrowed her brows about the last sentence. "Famous artist that died, you should listen to her sometime."

Enid nodded as the two walked around the halls for some time. Ajax had walked away from his mother to find Esmeralda. Enid and she were laughing and talking as Ajax spotted her. "Essy!" Ajax called out as Enid and Esmeralda turned. Esmeralda's face turned into a smile before she ran to him and jumped into his arms.

"Jax!" She spoke happily. Ajax chuckled at that name. Ajax had seen his girlfriend's mom give her a hard time about how perfect she needed Esmeralda to be. "Out of all Parents Day we've had, your mom has never been this hard on you," Ajax explained. Esmeralda nodded, "She wants me perfect like her. It's so stupid." Esmeralda explained.

"You should tell her off, surely she'll understand Essy." Ajax comforted her. Esmeralda gave a sad nod before looking up at Ajax. "Does your mom ever tell you she's proud of you?" Ajax asked as she shook her head. "Well as your boyfriend, carnivorous partner, and Poe Cup enemy, I'm proud of you," Ajax told her.

Esmeralda gave a thank you before she kissed him. The kiss they had was long and their lips stayed on each other before they pulled away. Esmeralda and Ajax had been there for about 20 minutes. Enid left before the two noticed. "I should go, Jax, my mom said to meet her back at the tables for dinner in thirty," Esmeralda told him.

Ajax nodded. "My mom too. You should go first so your mom won't give you a hard time." Ajax chuckled and smiled. Esmeralda also. "Yeah," She nodded, "I should."

Esmeralda gave a peck to Ajax as she walked away smiling and waving to him. Ajax sighed before fixing his beanie. Megan was talking to Katrina before she noticed Esmeralda smiling. "Why are you smiling?" Katrina wiggled her brows before Esmeralda sighed. "Nothing, I just found something in my bag that I was looking for and I totally thought I lost it." She told her. Katrina nodded.

Megan stood up and noticed Ajax looking at Esmeralda. Megan gave squinted their eyes at him before he noticed. Ajax cleared his throat and walked up to the food table. Esmeralda walked to the food table, and Megan grabbed her arm. "Why...Why don't you wait until the Gorgons... are done, si?" She asked.

Esmeralda shook her head. "No, I'm okay. I'm not scared of them they don't phase me." Esmeralda smiled as she knew how mad her mother would get about Esmeralda talking or standing next to a Gorgon.

Megan huffed before she walked with Esmeralda and grabbed a plate. Esmeralda placed a few things she liked before grabbing a fork and walking to a table close to Ajax's. Her mother didn't notice this, and she placed her bag and sat down. Esmeralda was sitting in a chair facing Ajax.

Ajax gave a smile and a wave quickly enough so that his mother nor aunts could notice. "So tell me, Esmeralda, how was the Rave'N? Was it as good enough as mine back when I was here?" Megan asked.

Before Esmeralda could respond, Sheriff Galpin entered the quad. Esmeralda turned to see him and other cops walking to a table where a certain pig-tailed girl and her family were seated. "May I ask what this is about, Sherrif?" Weems asked and Galpin looked at her before walking away.

Megan placed her fork down and looked at the commotion. "Ma, what's happening?" Katrina asked. "I don't know Katrina." She replied.

"Gomez Addams," Galpin called out. Esmeralda gasped and looked to Ajax. Gomez stood up. "How can I help you, Sheriff?" He asked, Galpin had handcuffs in his hand open.

Gomez was getting arrested.

"You're under arrest for the murder of Garret Gates," Galpin announced hand cuffing Gomez. Esmeralda looked to Morticia. Morticia in her whole life has never cried before.

This was the first. Watching the love of your life being taken away to jail or something was truly heartbreaking. Especially if they've been together for a while.

Esmeralda sighed before she turned away and bounced her leg. "Well, who knew the Addams were murders?" Megan scoffed before going back to her food. Esmeralda gave a sigh and an annoyed look to her mother before she went back to her food.

Esmeralda couldn't find that appetite anymore so she got up and left. Megan called out for her but Esmeralda ignored her. Ajax wanted to go after her to make sure she was okay but it would make it obvious to their parents so he just sat there hoping she was okay.

Esmeralda sat on the stairs scrolling through her phone. She didn't notice Katrina arrived and sat next to her. "What's on your mind?" Katrina asked. Esmeralda sighed before turning off her phone and looking at her sister.

"You wouldn't believe me, you'll probably be mad at me for the rest of my life." Esmeralda recited. "I could never be angry, upset, or anything at you. You're my best friend and sister." Katrina placed a hand on her back before Esmeralda nodded.

"I'm dating Ajax Petropolus, and it's really bothering me so much. Hiding it from you, mom, and even his mother is just..." Esmeralda broke out in tears before hugging her sister.

Katrina was shocked but still comforted her sister. "I'm glad you have a boyfriend, it's been a while since I had one. He's out living his New York City life. Did I ever tell you he's related to Audrey Hepburn?" Katrina chuckled. Esmeralda looked at her sister.

"Really? So is Marice." Esmeralda added. "Maybe their siblings. And by the way, Marice is the only Shapeshifter that's friends with Ajax that his mother knows about." Esmeralda explained.

"Wait their friends?" Katrina asked with furrowed brows. Esmeralda nodded. "I wonder if Ajax or his mother is ever gonna find out."

Esmeralda shrugged. "Come on, it's getting late and with everything happening, you need rest," Katrina told her, Esmeralda nodded. "And soon enough I'm going to make you tell mom that you have a boyfriend, and we're going to tell Ajax to tell his mother also," Katrina explained.

Esmeralda didn't want to but she nodded. "Tomorrow, when they leave. I'll meet up with Ajax and we'll tell them together." Esmeralda explained as they started to walk to the rooms.

The next day had arrived and it was the day for the parents to leave. Esmeralda texted Ajax to meet him near the quad. Ajax quickly responded before he left to meet his girlfriend near the quad.

"Hey, Essy." Ajax smiled to see Esmeralda sitting down in a chair waiting for him. "We don't have a lot of time but, I kinda told my sister about us. She doesn't mind but she said we have to tell our parents or it'll be bad for both of us." She explained at a low volume. Ajax nodded, "So... do we meet up and tell them together?" Ajax asked moving his head a little.

"No, we tell them separately and if they like it or not, we like each other no matter what." Esmeralda began as Ajax nodded, "Okay. See you later," He smiled before giving her a kiss and the two parting their ways.

Katrina was looking for her sister before she found her walking to her. "Did you tell him about the plan?" She asked with a fond look. Esmeralda nodded, "Where's mom?" Esmeralda breathed. "Packing the bags. Better to wait for her outside so she can't yell. You know how she hates yelling in public. Gives a bad impression on others." Katrina laughed.

Esmeralda smiled before walking outside with Katrina.

Megan walked out with the bags before she noticed Esmeralda with her arms crossed. Megan sighed before walking. "What now Esmeralda?"

"Mom. I know how much you want me to be exactly like you. Well, guess what, I won't because I know if I am I'll be exactly like you now and I'll treat my kids bad with my boyfriend and I know that I'll regret it later on and I'm going to blame myself because of how I am because of you." Esmeralda spoke.

"Wait, boyfriend?" Megan asked. "Yes, I have a boyfriend and it's Ajax Petropolus. I know you don't like the Petropolus but I do. They're really nice and he treats me really well, I hope you and Medusa can get along really well." She added.

Megan crossed her arms before she spoke. "Well, I suppose I can invite Medusa over for some coffee and toast," Megan added. "I'm glad you have a boyfriend and you're happy. My mother was really hard on me when I first started dating your dad. I guess all the anger she put towards me is making me take it out on you and Katrina."

Esmeralda smiled before hugging her mom. "I love you, mom." Megan smiled in the hug. "I love you too mi amor." Megan pulled out of the hug and placed her bag in Katrina's car before kissing her daughter on the forehead and going into the car.

Esmeralda waved a goodbye to her mother and sister before they drove off. Ajax and his mother came to Esmeralda. "Jax." Esmeralda smiled and hugged her boyfriend.

"Esmeralda, I'm glad my son found someone like you. I'm sure your mother will invite me over for some coffee and toast?" She asked. Esmeralda smiled and chuckled, "Definitely, Ms. Petropolus."

Medusa smiled before hugging the two. "You treat her well Ajax, she seems like a good kid." Medusa spoke, "I will mom." Ajax chuckled before his mother waved goodbye and walked to her cab.

"Hey Essy, you never told me Marice was a shapeshifter," Ajax told her. "Figured you would find out eventually." Esmeralda chuckled before she turned to Ajax. "Greenhouse later?" Ajax asked, Esmeralda, nodded, "You know it." She replied before placing her lips on his.
