Chapter 9

Sweet Hello

I looked up at the culprit that tackled me. " Kitten?" I questioned looking at the crystal Blue eyed girl with a wide crazy smile. She giggled " That's my name!" she said excitedly. The bleach blonde hair with red highlights chika then slapped me. " What the hell? why did you slap me? " I shouted to which she just giggled. "I was reading your thoughts  and you are really stupid for a smart girl you know." She said.

Did I mention she is a mind reader as well?

She finally got off of me and helped pull me up. I then got a good look at her. She was wearing a light blue corset dress that stopped at her mid thighs  It was tight down to the waist then poofed out. Her hair was in a ponytail and still reached the bottom of her butt. But that's not what I noticed. She had scars. They weren't to many and you had to look closely to see them. " What, what happened. ?" I asked shocked. She smiled " The same thing that happened to us all." She replied. I looked down seeing what she meant. I had scars as well but she-she had more.

" Why?" I asked. " They wanted me to read wolves and vampires mind to know things they wouldn't tell them but I wouldn't sometimes I'd lie and tell them the complete opposite of what they knew, but they saw right through it. I guess I'm a terrible liar" She added with a giggle.

Good they hadn't broken her.

" Oh Muffy you worry to much nobody can break me!" She said sticking out her chest . She giggled as her blue wings that instead  of swirls in them had waves moved back and forth slightly from side to side. I smiled. She then froze as her eyes glazed over for a minute then came back. " Your mate is on his way with his beta. He seems pretty pissed Muffy" She said knowingly " But don't worry I won't tell what you were planning " She whispered sending me a wink.

Sometimes she reminded me of an anime chick.

She giggled obviously hearing me. Not a second later two wolves jumped out from the trees. I could tell Fable was the huge black one with gray paws and a gray tip to his tail. The other was his beta who was a mixture of brown and blonde. They went behind a tree and came out with just shorts on.

"Mate" Came out of the betas mouth. Whose name I still don't know. I looked to see Kitten grinning like a fool. " Hi " She waved to which I just face palmed. " Muffy" I heard an angry deep voice call I snapped my head to Fable who was giving  me a glare.  I raised an eyebrow. I then looked back at Kitten to see her looking at me wondering what was going on. I sent her what happened and she gasped.

" You should be a shamed of your self mister Alpha dude." She said like she was scolding a child. The Beta's eyes widened. " Um darling please don't speak to him that way uh" He said clearly not knowing her name. " Oh! How rude of me " She said as she bounced  over her wings following behind her. She stuck her hand out " I'm Kitten, some people call me Kitty but never Kat cause that's my sisters name. " She rambled. He smiled as he took her hand and pulled her towards him making an unexpected yelp come from Kitten which quickly turned into a giggle. " I'm Beck. " The beta or well Beck replied.

" Oh like that show victorious? " She said excitedly. He looked confused but slowly nodded.

She then snapped her head towards me and smiled . She then turned to Fable and gave him a glare, she looked like a cute angry kitten. " You got some explaining to do!. " She said in a horrible British accent.

Fable rolled his eyes then looked at me his eyes filling with guilt. "I'm sorry.. I just though you were dead. " He sighed looked at Beck. Kitten gasped her eyes flickering to mine then dragging a confused Beck away to the pack house. 

" What " I asked shocked.  He sighed running a hand through his hair.

" About a year ago I felt the worst pain in my chest.  It was like I had got shot. I told my father and mother and my mother she started to cry and my father told me my mate had just died. I-I was a mess after that I started drinking all the time for four months straight until my mom and father snapped me up telling me it was time to move on. I was to find someone else and get married because my pack needed a Luna. My parents chose Abby. I didn't care I just went with it. " He said looking at me with pain filled eyes. My hand went straight to my chest. I knew exactly what he was talking about.  it was a bit after I was caught by hunters.

I remember It like it was yesterday.

Flash back

The hunter grabbed my hair as he made me stand up.  My hands where cuffed with silver  cuffs. I hissed in pain as he dragged me out. I passed by all the other cells filled with people.

People like me.

Different.

I spotted Kat being thrown like a rag doll in her cell by a huge man " Leave her alone" I shouted. It just earned me a slap to the face. As my head snapped to the side I spit out blood  I then turned and spit my blood on the man He then punched me the same spot he just slapped me cracking my jaw. The man who still had my hair laughed as he finally pulled me away. We walked out into another room.

He through me into the concrete ground. I hissed as I fell on my knees. I was on my knees with my hands behind my back as I bent over. The man pulled out whip with spikes on it. He the whipped me across the back. 

I didn't scream. No body could make me scream nor cry.

He continued  for a few more times and by a few I mean I lost count after 40.

He then started to beat me.

I still didn't scream.

That got him angry as he pulled out an hot iron stick. It was red. He put it on my skin over and over sometimes on the same spot repeatedly.

I still didn't scream.

Then the worst came. 

They though I was a vampire so he got a wooden stake. Now only a few things can kill me... Being beheaded, losing every ounce of blood and gold it had the same effect silver had on werewolves. Through the heart it would kill you, on your skin it burns, and if you are trapped in a room made by it you die a slow and pain full death. With wolves it'll make you change half human and half wolf as it slowly kills you gold makes fangs change a bit to a snake  but not a lot.

The man got a wooden stake and got to eye level with me. " I'm ganna get killed for this. but it'll be worth it. "

My eyes widened as he shoved the stake through my chest barely missing my heart even though if he did it wouldn't kill me .

I screamed.

It hurt so bad. I cried and screamed as blood poured out of my chest. I pulled the stake out as i screamed louder.

I feel back as I screamed while letting darkness consume me.

He was right. He did die. But he was right it was worth it for him. Because he reached his goal, he did the thing no one else was able to do.

He  made me scream.
