Chapter 17

Ready

I woke up in the bed not remembering getting in bed. It was Wednesday, 3 days before I leave. Looking to my right and spotting a sleeping Fable. I gave a sad smile as I leaned over and kissed his forehead. I had to start getting things ready for our escape.  Like plane tickets. Looking at the clock, seeing it was 7:06 , I woke up early again. Slipping out of bed as quiet as possible I went to the bathroom took a shower and brushed my teeth. My hair was down to dry naturally.  I out on a black crop top and camouflage cargo pants with black boots.

sneaking out of the room and running straight to his office I locked the door behind me and got to work on his computer.

After copying the tickets, I cleared the history with tickets in hand and opened the door to see Blue standing there smiling. " Hey Blue " I whispered. "I'm hungry mommy." he whispered back. I  nodded " Come I'll fix us something "  He nodded and grabbed my hand as I stuffed the tickets in my pocket. We walked to the elevator and went down to the first floor going through the door to the kitchen seeing no one there. I got ingredients to make pancakes and Bacon. I started making enough for the whole pack, which was A lot. When I got done with Blue's I gave him a plate with orange juice. "Mmm " Blue moaned as he ate. "You know how to cook really good" Blue moaned. I laughed " Thanks baby" I said kissing his forehead as I finished the last batch for the pack. Looking at the clock it was 8:18, Hearing footsteps thumping down the stairs I spotted three of the orphans. A little boy at age 7 with brown hair and blackish eyes, I found out his name was Thomas, The other ,another boy, had red hair and green eyes and he was 10 , the oldest orphan,  His name was Matty, and last but not Least was Piper, She had orange hair and forest green eyes .

"Good morning " I said with a smile. They grinned then all at the same time sniffed the air taking their time. They then, with inhuman speed,  dashed to the huge island climbing next to Blue I giggled as I gave them each a plate with orange juice

, They dug in quickly making me giggle some more. Then more kids came in, all of the orphans did, and sat down as I gave them a plate and some type of juice. "Bon Appetite! " I said in a bad French Accent  as they giggled. 

A few kids had left as most had finished eating including myself when the teens started coming. And let me just say there are more than a dozen teens . Grabbing plates as I fixed them and pouring drinks was a rush trying to get them in and out as most went to the dinning table. Sable, Kat and Bable came in and I handed them a plate and juice they sat on the counter eating without saying a word.

I made three more plates and drinks ( dont ask how I carried them. ) and took them Up the elevator to the Betas floor. Walking down the long hall I  stopped at Beta Becks and Kitty's room. Knocking on the door I heard a quick 'come in' Opening the door to see Kitty wide awake sitting up , still in bed,  next to Beck who was asleep and had an iron grip  around her, putting their plates on each night stand as Well as drinks. " Thank you" Kitty whispered as she grabbed hers and dug in. I nodded and quickly stepped out with Fables food in my hand. Going to the elevator and pushing the button to our floor.

Going to our room and sneaking in I saw Fable still asleep. I almost 'awed ' He looked so peaceful.....to bad I have to ruin it.

Walking to the bed I put the plate and drink on the night stand. "Fable" I said shaking him.

nothing.

" Fable!" I said louder.

Still nothing.

Taking a pillow and beating it on his face repeatedly as I yelled " Fable!!"

Finally he jumped up Looking around stuttering " What, What What?" I put on an innocent smile " Good morning love" His head snapped to me as he glared. I picked up the plate and held it up " Breakfast?" I asked still keeping up the innocent act. He took the plate about to eat then froze " Why do I only have half a piece of Bacon. " I smiled sheepishly " Uh fairy's love Bacon?" I said sounding more like a question.

He glared at me as he ate angrily.  I laughed " You know you can't be mad at me. " I said with a big smile. He grumbled not saying a word as he ate. I giggled as I waited for him to be done.

He sat his plate Down on the night stand on his side and turned towards me and smiled. I raised my eyebrows at him trying not to smile. " What?" I asked giggling a bit. He shook his head.

"let's go out, today, just me and you.    like a date that last all day." He said with a smile. I smiled back " Let me get dressed. " I said getting up and rushing to the closet, hearing him get up and going to the bathroom to take a shower.

I threw on ripped black skinny jeans with a white corset along with white laced boots with heels. Putting on makeup I put on my usual back liner with black eyeshadow. Fixing my hair in a french braid on top of my head then came out in a regular ponytail, I smiled at my reflection in the full length mirror in the closet. To happy in thought I didn't see  the plane tickets that peeked out from my  clothes I just took off, as I picked an outfit for Fable and laid it out on the bed. He came out dropping the towel, as I blushed, and threw on the dark jeans and black tight shirt. He ran a hand through his hair as He looked at me " Ready?" He asked casting me a wink. I nodded as He grabbed my hand and dragged me out.

If only I'd listen when momma told me to pick up my dirty clothes.
