Chapter 16 The worry

Arish pov.

I gasped as I  came back to reality looking at a  concerned John staring down at me, every now and then glaring at my scar. " What happened." John gritted out. " N-Nothing " I lied staring at his chest that was covered in a blue plaid shirt. " Tell me" John growled. I whimpered. " I-Its a s-sore subject for m-me. " I stuttered looking into his dark eyes. I wasn't totally lying it was something I hated talking about.

He looked like he hardly believed me but let it go. I sighed in relief.

*Muffy's pov*

After about an hour of running I came back Walking through the back door. I headed to the bedroom so I could take a shower. Taking the elevator and finally making it to the room.  Taking a quick shower and stepping out looking at the time it was almost 5:30. I let my hair air dry put on a tank top and booty shorts. I sighed going back towards the living room.

I entered and everyone was on the couch watching an action movie. I looked around noticing Fable wasn't in sight.

"Can we talk Muffy, so I can apologize.? " Fable's begging voice whispered in my head. "I'm in my office." He added I sighed climbing back on the elevator, heading to his office. Walking in I saw him standing near the window. He slowly turned to me, looking at the floor, he slowly strowled over to me. He slowly picked his head up, his eyes meeting mine. His hand cupped my cheek. "I'm sorry. I overreacted. " Fable whispered.

All the left over anger I  held immediately left my body as I melted. I smiled " I forgive you" I whispered back. His lips slowly meet mine and we shared a slow, gentle kiss. I pulled back " Your pack is watching a movie, lets go join them." I suggested.

He narrowed his eyes. " Its our pack." Then his eyes softened. He grabbed my hand and took us to go down stairs.  

We walked in to see some girls in tears ,obviously someone pit in a chick flick. I felt Fable tense " how about we go some where else instead?" Fable whispered. I smirked looking back at him. "this is your punishment " I whispered winking to which he glared and growled at me. Turning my head back I spotted Kat sitting in a chair all by herself. Sable was in another chair looking depressed. I looked confusingly between the two before my eyes landed on Kat.

"Uh Kat?" I asked through the mind link. "Yes?" Kat asked her eyes locking with mine as her arms were crosses against her chest. "What's up with you and Sable?" I asked. " I'm giving him the silent treatment. " She replied. " Uh for how long?" She rolled her eyes. " I'm thinking for a week." I raised a brow. " You do realize we are leaving this Saturday right?" I asked . Her eyes widened as she jumped from the chair and practically dove into Sable. His eyes widened in surprise as he caught her. She snuggled in to him as his arms wrapped around her.

I smiled as Fable walked past me grabbing my hand and pulling me to an empty recliner. He sat down and pulled me onto his lap. Looking at the TV as I got comfortable I saw they were playing the movie Cinderella Man. I leaned back into Fables chest and sighed a content sigh. Looking towards Kat and Sable, I saw then sharing a kiss. Then I turned my attention to Kitten and Beck. Kitten was watching the movie as silent tears ran down her face. I saw her sniffle as Beck glared at the TV.  Causing me to chuckle quietly. 

My eyes then landed on Arish and John, both snuggled together as they watched the movie. Arish looked half asleep and John looked way to engrossed in the movie. Looks like somebody likes romance movie. I smiled at the sight

I hated that they had to leave. They have to leave their mates, because of me. I sighed. I wish they didn't have to but I knew the hunters were also after them as well. Looking at the three girls I sucked it up. I had to be a big girl I couldn't be sulking other people will suffer. John will be devastated when Arish leaves as well as herself. Beck will silently suffer, I've discovered he is a quiet guy. Sable will probably not know what to do with himself. And Fable, He'll be just find. He's strong he'll move on, get married and have beautiful children.

I grabbed my chest. It hurt to picture him with someone else. Looking at the TV I pushed my worries to the back of  my mind.
