chapter 15 Time

Fable glared at Abby and she shrunk under his gaze. I smiled. "Muffy we need to talk " It was Fable. My eyes snapped to him obviously holding a confused expression. Abby smirked. I ignored her and followed Fable to the elevator and into his office. We walked in and he turned to me and sighed. " Muffy, you can't keep bringing rogues into my territory, the pack is starting to get wary. " I raised a brow. " Um each person that has came ended up being someones mate. " I replied. He sighed " but still rogues are ba-" I cut him off " Not all rogues are ba-" He then cut me off " Yes! they are Muffy" I gasped " So I'm bad?" I asked mad. His eyes widened realizing hs mistake.

" What! No I  didn't  mean it like that. I - its just that if more Rogues come then rogues will think they can just prance around my pack lands without punishment and may try to hurt my pack. " He desperately tried to explain. I sighed. " Well you need to know there are good rogues, just like there are bad Alphas there are good rogues. " I as well tried to explain. He sighed running his hands threw his hair. He kissed me on the forehead and we went back to the living room. Sable suddenly came up putting his arm around me.

Fable growled and glared  at his brothers arm. His brother didn't look to scared as he said " Oh come on bro I got my own mate. "

"You won't have one for long if you don't move your arm from her." I looked behind me to see Kat glaring at me? Sable quickly took his arm from around me. "The next time I see you touching my mate I'll tell them, everything." Kat spat. I gasped as well as Kitty. Sable, Beck, and Fable looked at us questioningly. I glared at Kat as she glared at me.

'Kat? What the hell? " I yelled through the mind link.

'you were touching my mate!' She growled out.

'First of all he put  his arm around me. second, it was a friendly gesture!' I yelled through the link to which she flinched. I hissed out loud. I turned and rushed up to mine and my mates room.

When I got there I could feel myself calm down. I then remembered since I knew when I was leaving I needed to call Hex. I sat down picking up a phone and dialed his number. When he picked up Fable walked in.

" Hello?" Came Hex's voice. "Bohlia!" I said smiled. " Bahlia do Boo?"( that you?)  He replied. I smiled "Gah Bah ave emo uto en bah  lave, " (yes I have information about when i leave) I replied. I looked at Fable who was looking at me curiously, like trying to figure me out. " Oi ill?" (well?) "Saturndah " (Saturday ) Came my quick response. " era?" (Where?) He asked. " Pari"(paris)  I responded. "Oi, Rea boo tala, boo don ave to lave " (are you sure? you dont have to leave. ) He replied . I nodded " bah doun bah doun, opee don lave  hunters wis kind muo " (I do I do, if don't leave hunters will find me. ) I heard him sigh, finally giving in. " Okay I have to go." He said after a brief pause. "bye" I whispered . " Bye" He replied and the line went dead. (by the way the language they speak is really fast ) I put the house phone down and looked at Fable who was looking at me. " Who was that. " He asked accusingly.

Did he really think I was cheating on him? Flare hissed inside of me sensing the distrust our mate felt all the sudden. I scoffed. " Boo- I mean do you really think I'm cheating on you?" I spat. " Well I don't know you are a rogue" He argued accusingly. I gasped  " What the hell! That has nothing to do with this!" I hissed out. Flare did not like this one bit. I felt her rising to the surface trying to get control.

I pushed her down.

He glared and I felt a chill run down my back.

" who was he ?" Fable growled. I narrowed my eyes. " Who do you think?" I hissed mockingly. " I bet it was your boyfriend !" He yelled mixed with a growl. I gasp does he really think that low of me. " It must be since you don't seem to want to answer me!" He roared. I choked back a sob.

What the hell was he doing to me, I was becoming so emotional!!

I raced to the door. I turned looking at him giving him my biggest glare. " His name is Hex, go ask Those deadly rogues in the leaving room who he is. " I yelled storming out. Going to the elevator I stepped in going to the living room. When I got there I stormed in the living room everyones eyes on me. " Whats wrong Alpha make the evil serpent mad?" Abby spat. I was about to lung knowing if I attacked I would kill her.

'That doesssn't sssound to baad 'Flare hissed. I rolled my eyes but stormed out into the kitchen through the back door. I then took off running as fast as I could.

My mate took my breath away.

Literally.

I felt like I couldn't breathe. It wasn't a bad thing. It was just different.

John smiled down at me, we seemed to be oblivious all the people around us. He kissed me on my forehead. I was broke from my trance when Muffy came down. She looked furious. Abby said something but I wasn't paying attention. Muffy looked ready to murder. I formed a force field around us just in case. Muffy headed towards another room. "W-whats w-wrong w-with h-her.?" I asked Kitty. Kitty shrugged looking where Muffy had just left with a concerned look on her face.

Few seconds later Fable came down growling. John moved me behind him sensing danger. Fable looked towards us and glared. " Who is Hex? " He growled out. " T-that's M-muffy's c-cousin. " I said. He stopped growling as his face paled and his eyes widened. " Yeah that's her cousin. Why?" Kitty asked. " Shit" Fable growled. " what's wrong?" Kitty asked. " I messed up. " He replied.

I tilted my head. " H-how?" I asked. His head snapped to mine to which I flinched.  I gathered myself and moved beside John. " I accused her of cheating. " He spoke. I nodded. " Did you apologize?" I asked. He sighed. " I didn't know it was her cousin. " I frowned. " W-well why d-did you ac-ccuse h-her, d-don't y-you trust h-her?" I asked.  He nodded furiously. " Then W-why ac-ccuse her. " I asked. " Its not that I didn't trust its just that I don't trust men " He growled. " You should tell her that when she gets back " Kitty finished for me. I nodded as he sighed running through his hair. Johns arms wrapped around me as a big grin took over my face.

I giggled as he started tickling me. I turned and hit him on the chest knowing it did nothing. Suddenly he froze. I looked at him questioningly as he glared down at me. I whimpered then realized he wasn't glaring at me but at something on me. 

It was a scar.

The scar is something I've had since I was 16. It started right above in the middle of my chest climbed up left and ended on my left cheek. He trailed his thumb along it and I knew what he was about to ask.

What happened.

I felt myself being pulled into the memory.

+Flashback+

The cage I was in was disgusting. The smell of blood and death was suffocating. There were other cages  full of people. In the cage with me was five other people. Hunters were the kings here. We had no power over them.

I looked up as the door opened and ten hunters stepped in. "look at all the disgusting creatures." One guy sneered no one said a word they just glared. They walked towards the cage I was in and opened it walking in. The men had knifes. I realized they were mixed with things that were our weakness. Mine was gold copper. It was a mixed, the two things didn't hurt me separate but put together it  was like wolves and silver. They started cutting and beating us.

One in particular cut me from below the neck to the cheek. I screamed falling to the floor as i clutched were they cut me. After they suddenly  stopped and walked out laughing. People were around me trying to help me. I screamed as it burned and my body was slowly trying to heal itself. I cried until finally the darkness suddenly started to creep in and I gladly welcomed it with open arms.
