Sebastian smythe was walking down main street in Lima he might be a self confessed snob but he did infact like some of the little stores and not to mention the Lima bean coffee.

It was Friday school was over for the weekend and he decided to have a stroll down main street as the it was quite a nice day weather wise.

He was making his way to the music store which he liked finding song Ideas in.

It was as he walked he heard shouting and after stopping in his tracks to listen he realised he knew the shouters voice it was Santana Lopez.

He smirked to himself he hadn't had a run in with the demonic Latina for a while and wondered who she was yelling at.

He started walking and her voice was getting louder and louder then he saw her. She was down the alley next to the music store and she shouting at and pinning Rachel berry against the music store wall. Rachel looked terrified.

" what's going on" he shouted both girls turned to look at him and what got to sebastian the most was Rachel seemed terrified of him too.

" shove off fivel" Santana yelled and roughly shoved Rachel into the wall before continuing to yell at her this time in Spanish.

" let her go" sebastian said walking quickly towards them scared if he ran he would scare Rachel.

" get lost five it's nothing to do with you" Santana said.

" I said let her go" sebastian shouted.

" no I'm teaching her a lesson" Santana said

Sebastian tuck out his phone.

" get off her now or I'm calling the police" sebastian said

" like you would" Santana said.

" I would...I will..I am ' sebastian said and started to dial at which point Santana ran off leaving him with a shaken up Rachel.

" are you alright did she hurt you" he asked Rachel shook her head then burst i to tears which she was trying and failing to control.

" your safe nkw" he said taking off his blazer a d wrapping it round her looked at him surprised.

" come on I think you need a coffee" he said and put his arm around her and though she was in shock she set off walking and two minutes later they were at the Lima bean.

Sebastian went and got their coffees after escorting Rachel to a table.

Once he had the coffees he returned to the table she looked like she was in a world of her own.

" so not there was any reason for her to treat you like that do you have any idea why she was being mean to you" sebastian asked

" she was mad at me" Rachel said

" why" he asked he had a bad feeling as he looked at her, her eyes usually chocolaty and vibrant were dull.

" I am sick of being bullied so I decided to take myself out of the bullies way" she said.

" I dont understand" he said.

" I quit McKinley my dads are home schooling me from now on today was my last day so I guess she is mad I'm not going to be there for her to pick on" she said.

" I thought you needed McKinley and glee club for nyada" he asked

" I do but I'm not going to live in fear anymore...thank you for stopping her" she said.

" no need to thank me" he said feeling sad for her and also angry because of people like Santana rachel might not reach her dreams it was so wrong.

" I thought if I left I would be safe but I still live here so if I bump into her she is still going to be mean" Rachel said starting to cry.

" you know dalton has a sister school" he said.

" my dads cant afford that" she said looking embarrassed.

" not all the boys at dalton are from wealthy families some got scholarships Crawford does give scholarships too. I know a couple of girls who go there would love to start a glee club but the school doesnt see how a newly formed show choir could be a success but with you it would be" sebastian said. Rachel looked lost in thought.

" drink up Broadway and we will go to Crawford" he said.

" my dads might not agree and anyway it's a long shot anyway" she said.

" Rachel Crawford is the best girls school in the state your dads will surly realise how good that would look on your nyada application" sebastian said.

Sebastian had parked his car in the Lima bean parking lot earlier before he had decided to walk to the music store.

He lead Rachel to his car she was quiet but he was pleased she seemed to trust him.

He drove them to Crawford and Rachel was looking up at the school building as he pulled into the parking lot.

" wow" she gasped seeing the grandeur of the building it look alot like dalton.

" are you ready" he asked the nodded and they got out of the car.

They walked towards the doors Rachel seemed to me getting nervous.

" relax" he said leading her along a corridor.

" hey seb" a girl said as they walked past her.

" hey" he said he saw Rachel looking at him.

" that is jaqueline Jeff's sister" he said she nodded and they continued down hallway.

" here we are headmistress office" sebastian said as he knocked Rachel who still had his dalton blazer around her looked scared.

The door opened and a petit woman stood there she was clearly surprised to see him there.

" Mr smythe" she said before her eyes landed on Rachel.

" hello" the woman said warmly.

" hi'Rachel said.

" may we talk to you" sebastian asked the lady nodded and they entered the office she gestured them to sit down.

" this is Rachel berry..." sebastian started to say.

" Rachel berry the star if the new directions Rachel berry" the woman said happily looking at Rachel.

" about that you see yes Rachel is the star but unfortunately McKinley doesnt understand how special she is and she had been bullied so badly her dads have taken her put of school for her safety" sebastian said.

" oh my goodness are you alright" the lady asked Rachel.

Sebastian turned to look at rachel who he saw was trying not to cry.

" I was wondering if maybe Crawford would appreciate her" sebastian said rachel was looking at her hands.

" it seems fate has brought you here rachel well along with sebastian. You see just this morning a received a call from the school governors telling me that with the success of the dalton warblers Crawford is to start up it's own show choir only as we haven't had one before I'm not sure many girls will come forward to join. However here at Crawford we like to pride ourselves on recognising talent and many of the girls here and the staff have gone to support the warblers and therefore know exactly who you are and how good you are. Do your parents know your here" she said

" no" Rachel said

" may I call them" the lady asked Rachel nodded and gave her the number.

" would you two mind waiting outside " the lady asked both sebastian and Rachel stood up and went and sat on the wooden bench outside the office.

" your chances are looking good" sebastian said Rachel nodded but still looked unhappy.

" talk to me" he said

" what if I dont fit in I never fit in" she said

" you will here" he said

" how do you know that" she asked

" your talent will be not only be appreciated here but respected not to mention most of the girls here are dating dalton boys" he said as the office door opened.

" well Rachel welcome to Crawford academy your dads are happy for you to join us here I also ra g the school governors and they know who you are too and have given you a full scholarship you start Monday. Come to my office and I will organise your uniform and your lesson timetable" the lady said

" thank you" Rachel said standing up.

" I dont know what went on at McKinley but rest assured Rachel we are happy to have you here I'm headmistress Jackson and I will see you Monday. That you sebastian for bringing her to us" she said before going back inside her office.

" I cant believe it" Rachel said

" well believe it now as it is Friday and like a daid alot of dalton boys and Crawford girls are dating and they are hanging out at Thad's house tonight so why dont you come meets some classmates" sebastian said she nodded.

" thank you" she said.

" your very welcome" he said
