Rachel berry is feeling a little nervous kurt had insisted he plan her eighteenth birthday party she had visions of  a huge pink pinata and other over the top things.

What made her especially uncomfortable was kurt had put on his social media that he was planning the party of the millennium and word had gotten out. So Rachel was worried people she didn't know and people she didn't want were going to ruin the party.

The party was been held at a place called the west side hotel kurt chose it because of west side story.

So now Rachel has just arrived at the venue with Blaine kurt was already there over seeing the arrival of the guests.

" you look beautiful rach" Blaine said as they got out of the cab that had brought them. She was wearing a glittery black dress that stopped mid thigh.

" thank you" she said as Blaine linked her arm and walked her into her party and she was pleasantly surprised there was no huge pink pinata infact nothing over the too. There were enlarged photos of her and kurt and Blaine hanging on the walls in black and white. It had an old school feel about it everything was elegant.

" rach" kurt said spotting her and running over.

" kurt its amazing" Rachel said.

" you know I was joking when I said the guests had to wear feather bowers" he laughed.

" thank you" Rachel said.

" I'm not ruling it out for my birthday but your party needed to reflect you... classy" kurt said hugging her.

" happy birthday" someone said next to her she turned and saw Jeff sterling stood there.

" thank you" Rachel said surprised that a warbler was at her party.

" the warblers are coming they heard about the party" kurt said.

" oh" Rachel said.

" dont be worried princess we are not here to cause issue we are here simply to celebrate you" a voice said behind her she turned to see sebastian stood there.

" one problem and your out meerkat" kurt said.

" not very nice to talk to an uninvited guest like that is it" sebastian said and moved away towards the bar which was serving non alcoholic cocktails.

" he better behave" kurt said.

" relax kurt sebastian is the life and soul of all our parties" trent said arriving and placing a gift bag in her hands.

" thank you, you didn't have to" Rachel said.

" it's from all of us" trent said Rachel opened the bag to see a gift wrapped box she opened it to find a bottle of Barbra Streisand's fravorite perfume.

" wow thank you" Rachel said.

" he insisted your gift was Barbra related" trent said.

" who" Rachel asked.

" sebastian" trent said.

" yeah he even went and got it" Thad said arriving.

The warblers all moved towards the bar and Rachel was still surprised at their gift.

" right then come on let's go get a drink" Blaine said.

Rachel and Blaine headed to the bar kurt was busy greeting other guests.

" here" sebastian said handing her a cocktail as she arrived at the bar.

" thank you" Rachel said.

" rachel" sebastian said

" what" she asked he pulled a small bottle of vodka out of his Jean's pocket and pointed to her glass.

" no thank you" Rachel said he smiled and put the bottle back in his pocket.

" honestly seb" trent said.

" trent she isn't going to get drunk of that amount of vodka I just thought she might have liked an actual cocktail" sebastian said.

" wow this room is lame kurt definitely got the birthday girl right" Santana's voice shouted and the all turned round.

" your not invited" kurt said running over to her she was stood about two feet away from Rachel.

" oh please with out me this party would be even more boring" Santana said.

" I was enjoying myself unstill you arrived" trent said Santana looked at him and moved towards him only sebastian stood infront of him.

" trent is right we were having a good time until you and you screeching voice arrived" sebastian said.

" your telling me you were enjoying yourself I thought you atleast would have found it boring" Santana said.

" the theme of the party is old school classy just like Rachel just because the concept I'd completely lost on you doesnt mean this party is lame" sebastian said.

" Santana leave" kurt said.

" no I am not going anywhere" Santana said.

" just go" Sam said as he and the invited new directions arrived.

" no" Santana said.

" get out" kurt yelled.

" make me" Santana said.

" fine" kurt said.

" oh and how do you plan to get me to leave" Santana said.

" he doesnt" sebastian said.

"See debby wants me here" Santana said.

" ok firstly only my grandmother calls me that and secondly what I meant by he doest  is this" sebastian said and moved towards Santana a d easily lifted her up over his shoulder and carried her out of the room.

" strong isn't he" trent whispered to Rachel.

Sebastian came walking back in a moment later.

" fear not princess I will happily remove anyone spoiling your night" he said.

The rest of the guests arrived and the party was in full swing and Rachel was enjoying herself she danced most of the night with kurt and Blaine. She even had a dance with a very bashful Jeff.

She was now stood talking to Sam and artie then the lifts were switched off and she saw kurt carrying her cake towards her everyone was singing happy birthday to her.

As the cake arrived infront of her she was feeling a little emotional given it had been such a lovely night.

" make a wish" sebastian whispered in her ear she had no idea he was stood behind her she blew out her candles and everyone cheered and the lights came back on.

" birthday princess" sebastian said she turned to look at him.

  " will you dance with me I promise not to be as shy as Jeff" he asked.

" ok" she said given he had gotten rid of Santana and had gotten her perfume.

" trent told me you got the perfume" she said as they danced.

" yeah for two reasons firstly I wanted to make sure it was the right one after googling Barbara for hours to find something she liked that we could possibly get you. Secondly do you know how many warblers refused to go into a perfume store because they were embarrassed to ask for the perfume Barbara Streisand loved" sebastian said.

" thank you" she said.

" now I dont wish to spoil your night princess but I cant help notice that a certain quarterback isn't here" sebastian said.

" we broke up" she said.

" I hope I haven't upset you by bringing him up it's just a birthday girl needs a birthday kiss" he said and before she could take in what he had said he kissed her.

" happy birthday" he said as he broke the kiss.

" I did not see that coming" kurt squealed.

" we did" several warblers said.

" as much as I would like you all to myself it's your party and everyone who loves you is here but I ask that you go to dinner with me tomorrow night and I ask if I can have your number" he said Rachel was still stunned by the turn of events. She nodded and they swapped numbers.

" there is one more thing I would ask" he said.

" what" Rachel asked.

" can I have a other kiss" he said he didn't wait for answer and kissed her.

Rachel berry was right in that her party wasnt going to go as planned but that didn't mean it wasnt going to be amazing.

She never expected that one of her presents would be a new boyfriend.

That night when she got home she had the biggest smile on her face which was the result of the party and the cheeky photo sebastian had sent her when he got back to dalton. She laid in bed thinking about their date tomorrow life was definitely getting better she thought.

She fell asleep with a smile still on her face.
