Rachel was nervous as the new directions all made there way to where they were meeting the warblers for a Jackson off.

She was scared what Santana puck and sebastian were going to do during the duel.

Finally they arrived at the empty multi storey parking lot and got into position while Santana and Blaine stood waiting for the warblers.

Rachel spotted the warblers and tried to hear what was been said.

" you really think your that bad" she heard sebastian say. Then Santana raised her arm which was the signal so they all moved to face the warblers. While some were trying to intimidate the warblers Rachel just felt stupid.

The Jackson off begun and Rachel hung in the background this was one occasion she didn't want to be centre stage.

As she was dancing in the background a warbler she didn't know came towards her she was scared by the look in his eyes.

Only as he neared her sebastian appeared infront of him and shoved him in the direction of Santana before turning to smile at her before going to face Santana himself. Rachel was rather confused by it.

Then as she was trying to stay out as many pairings were having confrontations Thad accidentally knocked her to the ground whilst he was dueling finn.

As she laid on the floor Thad looked nervous as she felt someone pick her up and set her down on her feet she saw it was sebastian as was confused as to why the guy who had caused this whole thing seemed to be looking out for her.

She also saw sebastian was glaring at Thad.

" sorry Rachel that was an accident" Thad said before moving away from her.

The duel continued and Rachel noticed non of the warblers were anywhere near her.

As they duel came to an end the warbler who had first approached her offered a paper bag to sebastian who shook his head.

" we were better"santana said.

" you guys weren't even close" sebastian said.

" we are doing MJ for regionals" Santana said.

" so are we a d like I told you before we drew first position so everyone will think you stole our idea" sebastian said.

" who do you think you are" finn yelled.

" oh hey finn i didn't see you there you lack such presence i didn't know you were here" sebastian said.

" why dont you just go back to France" finn said.

" dont you think I would rather be there than ohio" sebastian said

" let's get out of here we csnt reason with someone like him" kurt said and sebastian chuckled and started walking away the other warblers following him. As he walked passed her Rachel could have sworn he winked at her.

The next day Rachel was following Santana to dalton because Santana had decided to confront sebastian about why he was being a jerk. Rachel was worried about the confrontation and was even more bothered when the rest of the new directions insisted she be the one to go with her.

Rachel was unsure about going because she was still confused by the warblers and especially sebastian's behaviour towards her last night.

As Rachel reached dalton Santana was already walking in through the doors Rachel quickly parked up and ran in afterwards.

" fivel" she heard Santana shout and followed her voice. Rachel walk in the music hall and saw all the warblers stood behind Sebastian who was stood infront of Santana.

" what is your problem" Santana shouted in his face sebastian was completely unmoved by it infact he was smirking.

" I would tell you what my problem is but I highly doubt you would even understand it" sebastian said.

" I might not be a well educated ass like you but I know how to handle myself" Santana said. Rachel stood behind her not saying anything.

" guess nobody told you as a toddler to use your words" he said with a chuckle.

" shut it now tell me what your problem is" she yelled.

" ok first you tell me to shut up then tell me to speak which do you want me to do" he asked.

" I am going to slap that smirk off your face" Santana said.

" do it " sebastian said.

" you are the most irritating person ever" Santana said.

" I guess you have never looked at yourself in a mirror then" sebastian said before turning his attention to Rachel.

" why are you here" he asked.

" she came with me" Santana said.

" I was talking to her" he said.

" the others wanted me to come with her" Rachel said.

" fat lot of use you have been man hands" Santana said. Rachel was so embarrassed at been called that infront of all the warblers.

" on the contrary Rachel as shown one thing by been here" sebastian said.

" and what might that be" Santana said.

" that not all girls are like you" he said.

" you got that right she is as far from me as it gets" Santana said.

" I agree" he said.

" look we are not here to discuss man hands I'm here to tell you your not doing mj" Santana said.

" forgive me but are you two not on the same side it's not very nice that you treat her that way is it" he said.

" for goodness sake it's not about her" Santana said.

" I suggest you leave Santana I'm not afraid of you your never going to get what you want you can yell scream shout even slap me I'm not backing down. The warblers are doing MJ and that's final" he said.

" berry you speak to him" Santana said huffing. Rachel stood there as all the warblers were now looking at her.

" will you let us do MJ like we planned too" was all she could think of to say.

" fine se wont then" he said and smiled at her Rachel figured this must be a joke.

"What" Santana said.

" we wont do MJ" he said.

" why" Santana shouted.

" Rachel asked me nicely and in a civilised fashion therefore the gentlemanly thing to do is to agree with her" he said.

" what then what has all this being about. I thought you wouldn't give in" Santana said

" I told you that you would never get me to give in I never said Rachel couldn't. Plus the truth is the warblers were never going to do MJ" he said.

" you werent" Rachel said.

" nope" he said.

" then why all this" Santana snapped.

" I overheard Rachel say she never connected to Michael like she did others like Barbra and instead of just accepting it you guys were mean you told her you wanted to throw your coffee of her." Sebastian said.

" so " Santana said.

" I didn't like hearing you guys treating her like that and I wanted you guys to see how it felt when your picked on" sebastian said.

" but what's in it for you" Santana said.

" I have shown Rachel that I respect her" he said.

" oh so all this was for that" Santana said.

" firstly it was you who wanted to do the Jackson off not me you made it a confrontation not me" sebastian said.

" Rachel was at the confrontation how is that showing her respect" she said.

" we stayed away from her" he said Rachel now realised why they had behaved like they had towards her.

" Thad knocked her over" Santana said.

" by accident" Thad said.

" but why all this for her I mean it's not like you have crush on her is it a guy like you wouldn't want her" Santana said laughing towards the end.
Rachel felt so embarrassed she was staring at the floor.

" what makes you think I dont have a crush on her" he asked

" look at her" Santana said.

" I am looking at her" he said.

" uh" satana huffed.

" I have been looking at her since I first saw her your right I dont have a crush on her..." sebastian said.

" well duh a guy like you wouldn't" satana said.

" I am in love with her" sebastian said Rachel was speechless.

" what did you hit your head when we sang bad" Santana asked.

" rachel is everything a guy could want beautiful sweet intelligent and classy" sebastian said.

" I'm not of here you have lost your mind" Santana said storming out.

" guys can you give us a minute" sebastian said to the warblers who all left leaving Rachel alone with him.

" that's not how I expected to tell you but I wasnt going to stand here and have her disrespect you" he said moving towards her.

He took hold of her hands and smiled at her.

" if you give me a chance I promise I will never mistreat you" he said before kissing her.

Rachel had wondered how the confrontation was going to go but this was the scenario she had never expected.
