" smythe" hunter said as sebastian entered the warbler council room.

" clarington" sebastian shot back still pissed off at having being stripped of the captaincy of the warblers.

" smythe it's the weekend and I dont know about you but as much as I love dalton I am in serious need of female company" hunter said.

" and your telling me this because" sebastian said sitting on one of the couches.

" because I have an idea" hunter said.

" do t worry it's quite normal" sebastian chuckled.

" look smytbe I know your mad that I'm the captain but it wasnt my choice it was the headmasters." Hunter said.

" so doesnt mean I have to like you" sebastian said.

" I think I know how to make us friends" hunter said.

" really" sebastian said sarcastically.

" I have met a girl smythe she is absolutely gorgeous her name is Quinn fabrey" hunter said.

" you do realise she goes to McKinley and is in new directions " sebastian said.

" yes I am aware of that but the heart wants what ot wants which I know you understand better than anybody" hunter said looking at him.

" what do you mean" sebastian asked.

" Rachel berry" hunter said.

" dont know what your talking about" sebastian said shifting uncomfortably in his seat.

" I'm talking about yesterday at the Lima bean you couldn't stop staring at her legs for nearly twenty minutes. Also last week when we were heading to nick's birthday party and we passed fin you glared at him. I heard you ranting under your breathe about how he doesnt deserve her" hunter said.

" alright I admit I like her but it's pointless she doesnt like me" sebastian said and hunter chuckled.

" what" sebastian asked.

" I asked Quinn on a date tonight" hunter said.

" so" sebastian said.

" she told me she wasnt allowed to meet boys alone after she had gotten pregnant with her daughter" hunter said.

" hunter I'm bored" sebastian said.

" hear me out smythe I ended up going to meet her mom a d asked if given she had now met me if maybe she would allow Quinn to go on a double date. She said yes but now with Santana or brittany she said she wanted a girl who doesnt have a bad reputation to double date with Quinn and i" hunter said. Sebastian looked at him.

" Quinn said she was going to ask Rachel apparently both girls have decided they have had enough of finn and have become quite good friends. Now the only issue is who should be Rachel's date" hunter said and sebastian couldn't help the smile on his face.

" we are picking them up at 7 pm" hunter said.

" I'm going on a date with Rachel" sebastian said unable to hold in his excitement.

" yes" hunter said.

" wait if she knows it's me she wont come" sebastian said.

" Quinn is telling her it's a friend of mine and given you have avoided me since I got here I highly doubt Rachel will think its you" hunter said.

" oh and another thing smythe I hope this proves to you that we can be friends d I mean we might end up dating Quinn and Rachel and like I said they are friends now so if they can put their troubles behind d them I hope we can too" hunter said.

" friends" sebastian said holding out his hand which hunter shook.

Later

Rachel was at quinns wondering why she had let her newly best friend talk her into a double date.

She is nervous as she doesnt even know the name of her date only that he goes to dalton and is a friend of hunter's.

" you ok" Quinn asked as she was finally ready for their double date. Rachel was wearing a black laced dress and Quinn a cream floaty summer dress as it was a nice evening.

" yeah I guess" Rachel said not wanting to let on she was nervous.

" your not nervous are you" Quinn asked

" yeah I have never been on a blind date before" Rachel said.

" hunter never told me the guys name but he did tell me that he is smitten with you already" Quinn said.

" really" Rachel said.

" yeah and he goes to dalton which means hotness is guaranteed" Quinn said.

" Quinn hunter is here" her mom called up.

The two girls went downstairs and Quinn walked over to her mom who was cuddling her daughter Beth who was six months old. Quinn had planned to put her up for adoption but when she saw her when she was born she couldn't do it. Quinn kissed and cuddled Beth before she headed to the front door with Rachel.

Hunter was making his way to the front door when they left the house and Rachel saw sebastian smythe walking next to him.

" hey you look beautiful" hunter said to Quinn but both girls were looking at sebastian in shock.

" you look beautiful" sebastian said to Rachel who was still surprised to see him given she thought he was gay.

" sebastian aren't you...hunter isn't he....gay" Quinn asked.

" no I am not kurt assumed I was because he was threatened by me because he is insecure about Blaine. I assure you I am not" sebastian said.

" shall we get going " hunter asked Quinn nodded.

The four of them walked to the car both boys opened the car doors for them and given hunter had a raised cr sebastian held out his hand and helped Rachel into the car.

The boys got into the front and hunter set off driving Rachel was feeling g awkward sebastian had caused problems for the new directions and she couldn't help but thi go that they was no way a guy as good looking as him would want her.

" Italian sound good" hunter asked.

" yeah " Rachel said.

" yeah" Quinn replied.

" dont worry it's not breadsticks we are going to" sebastian said.

Hunter pulled into the parking lot of a very expensive looking restaurant and found a parking space and the four of them got out of the car. Rachel was starting to wonder if sebastian was upto something and was feeling apprehensive.

The four of the walked to the entrance

"Hunter why dont you and Quinn go in i would like a word with rachel" sebastian said Rachel looked at Quinn who eyed sebastian suspiciously before looking at hunter.

" ok" hunter said.

" if you upset her..." Quinn started to say.

" I wont and we will be with you in a minute " sebastian said

Rachel watched Quinn and hunter enter the restaurant before turning to look at sebastian.

Sebastian

" I know you must be feeling awkward I haven't exactly shown you the best side of me have I. I know this is no excuse for what I have done but it's the truth. My dad Rachel is a very powerful man and he went to dalton. He sent me there because I wasnt like him enough. I wanted my father to be proud of me something he has yet to be. So when I joined the warblers and given Blaine had left they were kind of not as bothered about competing anymore. I saw it has a way to make my dad proud so I worked hard and my hard work paid off I began captain. Only my dad didn't see being captain of a show choir as anything to be proud of unless that show choir won nationals. So I worked hard Rachel I pushed the others to be better . Problem is I grew up thinking being mean was how you got people to listen to you. I might be captain of the warblers but I dont thinking any of them consider me their friend. Hunter and i are trying to be friends now. I thought of people didn't like me i might as well do what my dad does and be mean. Only like I said nobody likes me and the man I'm trying to impress couldn't care less. I know I have treated you horribly and out of everything I regret that the most. " sebastian said

He tuck a deep breath before continuing...

" Rachel all I ask is for a chance...a chance to show you the real me. If it works out and we start dating it would be amazing. If it doesnt and I'm not what you want I would ask that we could atleast be friends. Like I said I dont really have any and your a good person the best i have met. You make me not want to be anything like my dad... so what do you say can we join hunter and quinn" he said

" yes" she said and he smiled like crazy.

" you ok" she asked.

" I'm great thanks to you" he said and looked into her eyes and was pleased she held his gaze.

He reached for her hand raised into his lips and kissed it.

" you wont regret this" he said before opening the door and standing back to let her enter the restaurant first.

As Rachel made her way to the table she saw Quinn and hunter laughing she turned to se sebastian was still smiling she had a feeling the four of them were never going to forget this double date.
