After dinner Rachel was sat on the couch sebastian was putting harry to bed Rachel was sat looking at the view out of the window.

" well hopefully he will sleep he is still happy you came for dinner" sebastian said walking back into the room.

" he is a great kid" Rachel said.

" I'm biased but I think so to" sebastian said sitting down next to her.

" it must be hard though raising him alone" Rachel said.

" it is I'm not going to lie but I a love it I cant imagine life without him" sebastian said.

" I think the bond you two say is amazing" she said.

" thank you...have you ever thought about having kids" sebastian asked

" i hadn't until i started teaching i have to admit being surrounded by kids does make me think" Rachel said sebastian nodded.

" you will be a great mom" sebastian said a moment later.

" you think so" she asked surprised at him saying that.

" yeah your a natural with kids harry thinks your amazing" sebastian said.

" I'm glad my class like me I was scared that they wouldnt" Rachel admitted.

" why did you think that" sebastian asked.

" I dont know I just thought maybe because i wasnt really liked at school that school kids today wouldn't like me either" she said.

" your wrong about that" sebastian said she looked at him confused.

" what" she said

" you weren't disliked Rachel you were misunderstood McKinley didnt know what they had in you. People were jealous because not many people make it out of Lima but it was obvious that you would" sebastian said.

" yeah and I then failed" she laughed.

" not necessarily maybe you were always meant to fail because your destiny was to teach" he said

" maybe" she said.

" I was wouldn't the kids in my class would be scared of me because most of dalton was" sebastian sai

" not just dalton" rache, said and he grinned.

" I'm serious I thought they would think I was this freakishly tall scary monster towering over them but even if I do say so myself my class adore me" sebastian said.

" I guess both our experience of high school help us mine as the unpopular girl I can understand them not feeling like they fit in. To your kids you will understand why they misbehave" Rachel said.

" yeah I guess you might be right about that" sebastian said.

" oh wow" Rachel said having looked out of the window to see heavy snow falling.

" it cnt have been snowing long but it's already laying quite thick" sebastian said having gotten up and gone to the window.

Rachel got up and joined him at the window and was shocked to see the ground was already covered.

" I best be getting home before it gets to bad " Rachel said

" it already is bad you can stay I have a guest room" sebastian said.

" only if your sure thank you" Rachel said.

" yes I'm sure plus it means we can keep talking I must admit its nice having an adult to talk to" sebastian said.

A short while later Rachel was sat with sebastian on the couch watching TV the snow was still coming down.

" daddy its snowing" harry said appearing in the doorway.

" yeah it is but you should be asleep" sebastian said as harry ran to him and cuddled upto him. Harry smiled at Rachel.

" tomorrow can we build a snowman"harry asked.

" along has the snow doesnt melt overnight" sebastian said

" yes" harry cheered.

" and if you go back to bed and go to sleep" sebastian said before kissing harry's forehead.

" goodnight" harry said to tye both of them and headed back to his room.

" my mom always said I was odd about snow" sebastian said as harry was now back in hos room.

" your mom said you were odd" Rachel said.

" yeah because I never wanted to build a snowman I just saw snow as a reason to drink another coffee" sebastian said

" so you really are addicted to it I always suspected you were given you were always at the Lima bean" Rachel laughed.

" I do love a nice coffee but the Lima bean offered more than just coffee" sebastian said.

" such as " she asked

" I liked the view" sebastian said

" the view what of the parking lot or the thrift store across the street" she asked confused.

" neither of those" sebastian said as the power went out.

" grest" Rachel said.

" your not scared are you" sebastian asked

" no" Rachel answered.

" given how quickly you answered and the shrill tone of your voice I going to take it as yes you are scared rachel" sebastian chu killed she couldn't see him but suddenly she felt someone brush against her arm. It was obvious even if she couldn't see him that sebastian had oved closer to her on the couch.

" so Rachel are you still curious about the amazing view I was talking about at the Lima bean" sebastian asked

" yeah" Rachel said.

" are you sure you really want to know" he asked.

" yeah" she said.

" the incredible view was a girl" he said.

" I see" she said.

" an absolutely gorgeous girl one of a kind" sebastian said.

" she sounds amazing did you ever tell her you liked her" Rachel asked.

" never got the chance...not back then atleast" he said Rachel was surprised by his wording.

" she is still gorgeous still one of a kind... and is currently sat on my couch" sebastian said Rachel gasped in surprise.

" me" she said.

" unless someone as snuck in during the blackout yes you" he chuckled.

" I dont know what to say "she said her mind was racing a d her heart was pounding.

" then why dont we not use words" he said she felt his arms around her and in the dark their lips found each other and they started to kiss.

They kissed for a long time and only broke apart when the lights and the TV came back on.

" so Rachel how would you feel if I got a babysitter tomorrow night and we went to dinner" sebastian asked

" sounds great" she said wishing she wasnt blushing.

He leaned in and they started kissing again they kissed for a long time before making their way to his bedroom.

A few hours later Rachel was laid awake in sebastian arms he was fast asleep. She couldn't believe the events of the past few weeks.

As she laid there she realised that the lost feeling she had had since her TV flop was gone for the first time in a long time she felt like the old Rachel only older and wiser and happier.

She was so p,eased to have connected to her past but it had nothing to do with kurt or Blaine. She couldn't help but think she and Sebastian were destined to have met again. Although it was merely hours after he had admitted to liking her she had a feeling that this was the beginning of true love she felt so content in his arms.

Neither Rachel or sebastian's life had turned out like they had thought they would but maybe it was always meant to be that way.
