Clumsy and Smurfstorm were sitting at the edge of the boat. They were just looking at the calm part of the river they were in. They were sitting beside each other, hand-in-hand. Smurfstorm was leaning on Clumsy and Clumsy was slightly leaning on her.

Smurfstorm may not be the most feminine girl in town, but she does act a whole lot softer when she's with Clumsy. Smurfstorm took peeks at his wound from time to time and her smile turns into a frown when seeing it. As she kept doing it, Clumsy caught on with her seeing his wound.

"Storm, I-"

"Sorry about that." She cut him off

"Sorry about what?"

"Your injury. I'm sorry for causing that to you."

Clumsy didn't like it when she blamed herself for something she didn't even do, "Storm, this isn't your fault."

"But it is. You wanted to protect me from those nasty spider wolves. So, you distracted them all by yourself. Which is why it's my fault for this cut on your leg." She looked away. Clumsy reach out to cup her face with his hand.

"Hey, it was my choice to do that. So, it was pretty much my own fault for this cut, Stormy." He said affectionately, looking into her eyes, "So, please, don't blame yourself for this. Okay?"

"Fine. Just for now anyways." She smiled. They both got lost in each other's eyes. They almost kissed, but again, Brainy cleared his throat, indicating that they're still watching. Which made them retract from each other and looked at the other way.

"Brainy!" Hefty, Smurfette, and Smurfblossom yelled.

"You ruined the moment, again." Hefty said. The girls just nodded.

Hefty was at the back. He was running to make the boat go faster. The others were just looking at the front, with Brainy looking at the map. As they passed a certain type of floating flower, Hefty grabbed one of the floaties from it and placed it on Clumsy.

"Here." He said as he placed it on him.

Clumsy looked at it, "Ooh. Stylish and practical."

Smurfstorm giggled at his childish acts, even though his leg was wounded, he could still act funny, as usual. Smurfette and Smurfblossom looked at the map.

"At this pace, Gargamel doesn't stand a chance." Smurfette said

"Woohoo!" Smurfblossom yelled as she leaned on Brainy's side. Brainy slightly blushed and placed one of his arms around her.

Clumsy looked beside the boat and saw a lever, "Hey. What is this thing?"

As he was about to pull it, "I wouldn't touch that if I were you." Brainy said while looking at the map.

Those simple words made Clumsy retract his arm and said, "Oh. Now all I want to do is touch it."

Smurfette looked and pointed at the map, "Look. If we follow this river, we'll be right on course."

"Right on course."

As she said 'right on course'. Everyone heard another person say it at the same time as her and got confused. "Huh?"

That was until they looked at where the sound came from and saw...

Gargamel with his dumb bird and cat, "To the end of our rainbow."

Azrael saw the smurfs and meowed to get Gargamel's attention. He looked and saw the smurfs, "Smurfs? I thought I left you for dead."

Hefty got the hint and started running faster, "Hang on smurf crew."

"Gun it!" Gargamel stepped on Monty's claw. He screeched and his tail feathers started working as a paddle under the water, making them go faster. Gargamel and his animals caught up to the smurfs, but Hefty's legs were as fast as them.

"What the... No." Gargamel took a stick from the tree and everyone gasped, "Stop ruining things. Ruining things is my thing." He tried hitting Hefty, but he dodged all the attacks, and as he missed, the stick got smaller, much to his confusion, "What? Azrael, get me a bigger stick."

Up ahead they saw a chaotic part of the river. With streams going all over the place and all in different directions. They all looked frightened.

"Whoa!"

"Uh oh."

Gargamel and his two animals also looked horrified, "Oh, dear." Azrael also meowed in fright.

Brainy knew what to do though, "Clumsy, pull the lever!"

And Clumsy, who was still looking at the lever, got confused, "Seriously? But you said not to." He got skeptically confused, "Is this a trick?"

"Pull it now!" Everyone on the boat yelled. He pulled it and the boat, still attached, separated in two and a sail appeared in between them. Smurfstorm, Clumsy, and Hefty were on one side while Smurfette, Smurfblossom, and Brainy were on the other.

The smurfs sailed smoothly through the chaotic river while Gargamel and his lackeys sailed very badly.

"Oh, no." The log Gargamel and his animals were on jumped off and landed inside another river underwater as they were struggling to keep on the log.

When they jumped again, Monty carried the log halfway to under where the smurfs were on. Though Clumsy slipped and landed in front of Gargamel's log.

"Clumsy!" Smurfstorm cried out as she tried to reach for him, but he already fell.

"Huh? What's this?" Clumsy started running on the log making it spin, "Aah! Azrael! Do something. It's never gonna stop. Make the log stop spinning. This river is killing me."

Clumsy stopped when Smurfstorm, on a smurf chain of her, Hefty, Smurfette, Smurfblossom, and Brainy, grabbed his arm and swung him back on the boat. He almost fell off again, but thankfully, Hefty grabbed him on time.

A rock floated up in front of them. "Look out!"

They all ducked as the rock broke off the sail. Though Gargamel and his pets weren't so lucky.

"I love you two." The three villains hugged each other as they hit the rock and fell into the water.

The smurfs who all made it in one piece, cheered on.

"Yes! We did it!"

"We did it!"

"Whoo! We did it!"

"See, I always believed we would do it."

"Take that!"

"We survived!"

Gargamel was swimming in the water, but it looked like he was drowning. Though Azrael really was drowning, "Help! Help!"

Everyone ignored him and Brainy checked his map again, "All right. We're still on course."

"Aww yeah!" Smurfblossom cheered, pumping her fist up in the air

"Double-time it, Hefty." Smurfette said

Gargamel kept calling for help, "Help! I'm sinking! Please. I'm afraid of turtles!"

Clumsy looked back skeptically and asked, "Uh, guys, what's he up to now?"

"Help!" He screamed again.

"Forget that guy, Clumsy." Smurfstorm said

Brainy, still looking at his map, said, "Just forget him."

"My cat can't swim." He kept rambling on things to make them change their minds.

"We gotta help him." Hefty sighed as he stopped running while looking back.

Brainy, Smurfblossom, Smurfstorm, and Clumsy were shocked. Blossom then asked, "Are you crazy?"

Brainy added, "Why?"

"Because it's what I do." He simply said

"Listen to him!" Gargamel yelled

Brainy, Smurfblossom, Smurfstorm, and Clumsy were against this.

"But he's our sworn enemy."

"Yeah, he's our enemy."

"He's an evil wizard, who tried to capture us so many times."

"He is literally a villain."

Gargamel yelled from afar, "I can change!"

Hefty showed off his heart tattoo, "And I literally wear my heart on my sleeve, okay?"

"That's your shoulder, not a sleeve." Brainy corrected

"I like your tattoo!" Gargamel cried out.

"We're doing this." Hefty said

Brainy and the smurfs who were against him turned to Smurfette. And Brainy said, "Smurfette, talk some sense into him."

"Brainy, I hate Gargamel more than anyone, but we're smurfs." Smurfette reasoned, "We do the right thing."

"Thank goodness for it!" Gargamel yelled again

"And we have to save him." Smurfette finished

"I just want to go on record that I'm decisively against this." Brainy said as he looked the other way

"Same." Smurfblossom added, not liking the idea of saving Gargamel

"Whatever." Hefty said, "We're doing it."

"Sounds awesome!" He yelled.

Smurfette saw the floaty Clumsy was using and took it from him. She gave it to Hefty and said, "Use this."

Hefty tied it to a rope and threw it to Gargamel, "Grab on!"

Azrael caught it and placed it on Gargamel's nose. Azrael was on Gargamel's head and Monty grabbed on Azrael's tail, making him growl.

"I don't know about this." Smurfstorm said to Clumsy

"Me neither, Storm." Clumsy said back

Gargamel made it to the boat, "You won't regret it. Oh, thank you. Thank you. Such a kind smurf."

"Are you okay?" Hefty asked

"Oh, I'm okay. Wet, a little tired, kind of waterlogged. Thanks for asking, but... I'm still evil, so..." He hit them off the boat, making them go away from the three waterfalls that Smurfy Grove was at, "Enjoy drowning. Hope you're better swimmers than you are judges of wizards' character."

They all got pulled towards a rough course that kept waving up and down. They started losing sight of each other as the currents kept pulling them under and over the water. Until eventually they went unconscious from the rough river stream.
