It's been a week since I have acquired Daniel as my human. And I have grown very fond of him. I've heard that many of my species are more attracted to those of other species than they are of our own. I mean... we are so plain compared to them... maybe he can be... no... he'd never...

I've been keeping him company during my work breaks and I think we've been having fun... though fun is something we don't really have on my home planet...

"Hey are you ok (y/n)? You're glowing blue." Daniel pokes my cheek carefully.

"Oh... just thinking about home..." I give him a small smile.

"Where are you from?"

"Abalo. It's as far as your earth is but in the exact opposite direction." I say offhandedly.

"What's it like there?" He questions.

"Uh... bleak.... I'm one of the lucky ones to get to be on a different surface... but we are usually considered rouge because most start to feel genuine emotions... it's a really sad place to live."

"Are you one of those rouges?" He smirks.

"Me? No! I'm totally not a rouge... i... I really Definitely am not." My antenna slowly start growing from blue to pink....

"I think you are!"
