One evening when you were in the kitchen making dinner Smokescreen was in your living room with Ashton, Jason and Charlotte. Ashton and Jason were coloring and Smokescreen was trying to get Charlotte to talk.

"Come on Charlotte, say dada." Smokescreen said as he pointed to himself.

"Dad, what are you doing?" Ashton asked Smokescreen.

"I'm trying to get Charlotte to talk." Smokescreen replied.

"Maybe she doesn't want to say dada." Jason said as he colored a picture of an apple tree.

"Of course she does, right Charlotte?" Smokescreen asked her.

"Dinner's ready." You said when you walked into the living room.

"D-d-di-din-dinnew!" Charlotte suddenly shouted happily.

"Yes sweetie, dinner is ready." You said as you picked Charlotte up and went to the kitchen.

"See, I told you that she didn't want to say dada." Jason said to Smokescreen.

"Well how was I supposed to know that she wanted to say dinner?" Smokescreen asked, still shocked at his daughter's first word.
