Responsibility

All of the sides showed up in the trait's world nearly at the same time, each on of them tumbling on the base.

Each of them looked around for a minute, taking in account how different everything was here. Back in the common room, it was just the four of them discluding Depression, and here, there were so many traits that you couldn't even count them. How would they even begin to find Deceit?

"Woah." Spoke out Roman, taken aback by the scenery around him, the other's looked the same.

Anxiety scoffed, "You could say that again."

Logan looked around, trying to think about a plan. From everything he had read on the trait's space, everyone had their own individual living space, unlike the sides, due to how many of them there were. It was almost like the human world in that sense.

Patton looked around, curiousity almost getting the best of him but being able to control himself, "This is...crazy! Where are we even supposed to find any traits?"

Logan rubbed Patton's shoulder, in attempt to calm him down, "There's what I believe to be a 'Trait Library', somewhere around here. You can go there and look up which development that specific personality trait is living in."

Anxiety pondered for a moment, confusion in his voice while speaking up, "How are we supposed to find the library?

Roman nodded in agreement, just as confusingly, "Yeah, I'm a bit confused on that part too."

Everyone turned to the logical side, naturally waiting for an answer. "I guess we can ask one of the traits, but we should be careful on who we ask."

They all nodded in agreement, looking around at the traits before them. Thankfully for them, most of the traits had some sort of tag on them, displaying their name.

Patton gasped quietly, tapping Logan on the shoulder, "How about Responsibility! He's over there, he has to be good at that stuff!"

Logan smiled at the dad like side, "Great job, Patton. You did good."

Patton grinned, a bit of crimson on his cheeks.

Logan approached the trait, examining his features as they looked a bit like his. He was wearing red glasses, but had freckles covering his face. He had a tie on, and was wearing a white shirt with it all.

"Excuse me, Responsibility?"

The trait turned around, a big smile on their face, and a blush like hue covering it. "O-Oh, hello."

Patton watched the exchange, how Responsibility had acted, why was he feeling so...upset? Angry? No, sad?

Logan smiled, "My name's Logan, and this is Patton, Virgil, and Roman. We are the sides of Thomas."

Responsibility's jaw dropped, face flushed, "Are you serious?! That's amazing! You're amazing!"

Patton's fists clenched, why was he so mad?! Responsibility was being nice to Logan! Shouldn't he be happy?!

Logan chuckled, almost smugly back at him. "I suppose so. Anyways, I was meaning to ask you, do you know where the Traits Library is?"

Responsibily put his hand on his chin, tapping it. He sat like that for a second before speaking, "Oh yeah! It's actually right down this street! You can't miss it, it's the tallest building here."

Logan smiled, thanking him while patting his arm, then turning away and facing the other sides. "Well, you heard him, let's follow the street down."

Anxiety and Roman nodded while Patton followed, head tucked down to the ground below them. Anxiety seemed to notice.

He cleared his throat, then speaking, "Dad, you okay?"

Patton quickly jumped up, raising his head, smiling at him. "Yup! Let's just focus on finding Deceit though, okay?"

Anxiety raised a brow questionably, "Alright."

As Patton walked, just a few mere inches behind the other's, he couldn't help but ask himself, why did his heart hurt so bad?

Why was he feeling so...jealous?
