Hyperventilating
My body is starved
Reality's slipping away

Soul diminished
This life finished
For I have lost my way
My skin is crawling
Bridges engulfed in flames
I want to scream

Heart racing
Thoughts pacing
Swarming in my head
I'm going crazy
Everything's hazy
My mind torn to shreds

This headache won't cease
My mouth cracked and dry
I can't think straight
Don't know truth from lies

Does existence exist?
Or are we but remnants?
Perhaps it's all an illusion
Perhaps there's nothing at all
