Wonho

It was a bright sunny day, and I was walking with Hyungwon at a nearby park. I needed to get him to agree to my personal matters.

"Chae.." I spoke.

"Hyung?" He turned to me.

"We're good friends right? I always understand you, and you understand me." I said.

"Fact." He nodded.

I stopped walking as I wanted to get him to know I was gonna bring up something serious.

"You always defended me from bullies. You were my guardian, hyung. You're also my only friend." He said.

"Right.. Hyungwon, I have something to ask of you. Isn't it that you do want to pay me back?" I initiated.

"Yes of couse, hyung. I'll do you any favor." He assured.

"You see.. I found someone who can see me like how you do." I said.

"There's someone who shares my ability too?"

"Yes, and I... I've fallen in love with her." I shared.

"Really?" Hyungwon exclaimed.

"I need your help. We want to be with each other, but my current form wouldn't help. We can't date like this Hyungwon-ah. I really want to be with her." I pleaded.

"Hyung.. what am I supposed to do?" He asked.

"... Lend me your body." I told him.

"What? Are you serious?" I could see Hyungwon a bit terrified of the idea.

"Don't be scared. I'm not gonna harm you--"

"Hyung, you're basically gonna possess me." He pointed out.

"Yeah. I am. But, think about it. This is the only favor I'm ever gonna ask. Everytime I'm done meeting her, I'm gonna come out and your soul will be back in. Trust me." I encouraged.

"You sure you know how this works?" He asked.

"Of course, I do." I assured.

"Alright then. Maybe it won't hurt to try." He finally gave in.

"Thanks Hyungwon-ah! I'll let you meet her tomorrow. Just so she knows what's going on, and who she's dealing with." I patted him on the back.

"... Okay." he nodded.

Haneul

Wonho asked me to go to the cafe, so I got ready to dress myself up. He hinted that he was going to let someone meet me.

I wore a plain white long sleeve blouse tucked in my jeans, and 2-inches black heels paired with a small black leather bag as I got ready to go.

As soon as I arrived, I saw Wonho inside with another familiar guy sitting at the table near the glass windows. I paused and waited for the guy to move his head at an angle so that I could confirm what he looked like.

"Chae Hyungwon.."

I've confirmed it was his face.

I sighed as I looked at the bright expression on his face. I missed it but somehow had bad feelings towards it. I didn't want to see his happy face. I didn't want to know if he's actually doing good.

Nonetheless, I started walking my way inside the cafe.

"Oh! Here she is!" I heard Wonho's voice exclaim as I walked inside the cafe.

I slowly watched over Hyungwon's head.

"3..2..1." I counted.

There. He turned his head to see me.

He was smiling innocently, but all that smile started to turn into another facial expression as he could have probably figured out that we have already met at that bus incident.

I mustered all the courage to keep walking and to take a seat beside Wonho.

"Have you been good?" Wonho checked upon me.

"Mhm.. I'm good." I smiled at him.

I stole a glance infront of us, and there I saw Hyungwon's confused face. He was still trying to figure me out.

"Well Hyungwon, I'd like you to meet the girl I like." Wonho started.

"Hyungwon, meet Cheon Haneul. Haneul, this is Chae Hyungwon." He proceeded to introduce.

"Nice to meet you." Hyungwon's face changed but he extended a hand and kept his composure.

I started to grow uneasy as I read the bitter expression in his face. Cheon Haneul, I'm sure he hasn't forgotten my dear name.

"Yeah, me too." I shook his hand abruptly.

"Apparently, to be direct with you both, I'm sure you already know the plan. Hyungwon, I'd have to use you physically in order to be with Haneul. Haneul, I hope you're alright with that. You can trust Hyungwon." He got straight to the point.

"Yeah.." We both responded.

"But I'd like to set one more thing clear. Hyungwon, I don't want you meeting my Haneul for anything unreasonable or unimportant when I'm not around. Just to ensure no confusion takes place." Wonho sort of threatened Hyungwon's soon-to-be relationship with me.

"Of course, hyung." Hyungwon gazed at me as he answered.

"Alright then. Please excuse me for a while." Wonho left the table for his personal matters.

Hyungwon and I were left with awkward silence as we had to wait for Wonho to come back.

"So... what the people see is only you and me, right?" Hyungwon sparked a conversation.

"Yes. I don't want people to misunderstand." I blurted out an awkward statement.

"Misunderstand.. the sight of us two?" He asked.

"Mhm." I refused to look at him.

"Well that's bad news then because they're really gonna start to. Ever since this plan was created, people are really gonna think it's me who's dating you." He spoke and sipped on his strawberry milkshake.

"Yeah." I murmured.

He sat straight up and began to examine my face again. He drowned us both in stronger awkward silence before he finally took the lead to speak up.

"So you like him, Haneul-ah?" He asked.

I was caught off guard. He shifted to casual language and brought back his caring brotherly tone whenever he spoke to me back then.

"Huh?" I found it hard to believe.

"I can't believe we meet again. And this time, I'm going to be used by you two. Do you really like him, Haneul-ah?" He asked again.

"Mhm. Ah! I mean, yes I do.. Hyungwon oppa." I looked down.

He breathed out a quick but deep sigh.

"Well, that's good to know." He suddenly brought a wide smile to his face.

"Ohhh, I see you two are getting well together!" Wonho finally went back happy.

"Well, I have to go by now, hyung. Just talk to me and let me know whenever you both need me." Hyungwon stood up to leave.

"Ah really? That's a shame. Stay safe and take care Hyungwon-ah." Wonho bid him goodbye.

I began to space out as Hyungwon left.

All of the hatred I felt for Hyungwon, I now started to think about them twice. I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue this. It's kind of not right and I'm scared of what may unfold the moment I get more into contact with him.
