Eddie rushes towards the Flower household early the next morning.

He doesn't even bother taking his fanny-pack.

He didn't care right now. He wanted to see Ally. He had to see her. Just as the house came into view, the girl was being forced into the back seat of a car. A car that seemed more like a police car than a "social service" car.

"Wait!" Eddie desperately calls, trying to slow his breathing as he approaches the car. Lacy looks up to the boy, and sort of rolls her eyes. Young love didn't last for her. It didn't last for anyone. What did Ally think was so special about herself that it'd last for her? Nonetheless, the woman allows Ally out of the vehicle.

"You have 5 minutes to say goodbye. That's it."

Immediately, Ally rushes towards the boy and hugs him tightly. He hugs her back with the same amount of passion, allowing a few tears to stream down his face.

They stay like this for a few seconds, before Eddie pulls backs.

"S-So, this is really it?" He asks softly through tears.

4 minutes

"Y-Yeah...I guess it is." Ally responds, choking down a sob. "I'm gonna miss you. I don't know if I'll ever see you again–"

"You will!" Eddie interrupts, grasping her hands in his. "B-Because I love you. I-I love you so much...I promise we will see each other again. I promise." He insists, as they both look at each other through tears.

3 minutes

"Ally!" Lacy calls, snapping them out of their gaze. "Hurry up! We're leaving soon."

Ally frowns deeply, and Eddie's breathing becomes more shaky. It feels like he might have an asthma attack if he doesn't calm down his breathing soon. Ally lifts her hand and rests it on the boy's cheek, attempting to calm him down.

The look in her eyes were gentle, relaxing Eddie a bit.

"Don't worry, baby." She hums, causing Eddie to have a bit of a flashback. A flashback to when she was dying. Those were the same words that left her mouth then, too. Only this time, it does calm him down.

The sincerity in her voice reminds him that this isn't the last of them.

She leans in and kisses him softly. And her lips on his reinforce the thought. This isn't the last of them. He couldn't think straight with her tongue caressing his. He never could. She tasted too good to focus.

When she pulls back, there's a smile on his face. There's one on hers too.

Every memorable moment they've ever had seems to ring within his mind.

"...And in the middle of my chaos, there was you."

"Yeah, sometimes even when I'm all by myself–"

"LEAVE MY BOYFRIEND ALONE YOU CHILD MOLESTING ASSHOLE!"

"W-Well yeah, you're my girlfriend! I'm allowed!"

Many other memories roll through his mind as he stares at her. He doesn't even try to stop tears from falling down his cheeks. She leans up and kisses him one last time, before she's pulled away by Lacy.

She's shoved into the back seat, and Eddie is forced to watch as the car drives away. His girlfriend staring through the window at him, he can only mouth an 'I love you.' To which she mouths back, before completely disappearing down the road.

Ally Flower was officially gone.
