"So...he a-apologized?" Bill asks, playing with his hands.
We are both sat on the porch steps, discussing the previous events. I watch him play with his hands.
"Yeah.."
He glances up at me, then back down to his hands. "O-Oh...well, that's good news right?"
I nod my head and smile lightly. "It is, I suppose." A few seconds of silence pass before he reaches over and takes my hand. Now, instead of playing with his hands, he's messing with mine.
"S-So w-what's the problem, th-then?"
"We have to stop whatever's happening here..." I quietly say, a frown replacing my smile. "You understand that...right?"
Bill nods immediately, letting go of my hand and standing up. I stand up too.
"Y-Yeah, that was our d-deal here. D-Don't worry, I'm not mad. I-If anything happy, now I d-don't feel so worried.." he admits, offering me a genuine smile. I smile back, leaning over and hugging him. He wraps his arms around me, consuming me in his warmth.
"Would it be okay if...i-if we kissed one last time?" I ask, blushing a little. "I have to admit, you're pretty good at it."
Bill let's out a laugh before nodding.
"O-Only if Eddie w-won't mind.." he hums, looking down at me. I grin up at him, and wrap my arms around his waist. "He doesn't."
With that, Bill leans down and places his lips on mine. He kisses softly, yet passionately. When I kiss back, I realize that although I liked his kisses, they weren't quite right. They aren't Eddie's. He pulls back with a soft sigh. We silently stare at each other for a bit, before giggling.
"I'll get changed out of your hoodie, really fast." I say, before dashing inside and tossing off his hoodie.
I button up a flannel, replacing the warm hoodie I was forced to give up now. When I walk back out, I hand Bill his hoodie and he begins to walk down my steps.
"I-I'll see you a-around, Ally.." Bill grins, waving and walking off my lawn. I wave back, before rushing inside and dialing the Kaspbrak household. Excitement pulses through me as the line rings.
"Hello?" Mrs. Kaspbrak answers.
Oh great.
"O-Oh, uh– Mrs. Kaspbrak, hi! I-Is Eddie there?..." I timidly ask, expecting her to hang up. She never does.
"Yeah, let me get him." She says, before screaming her sons name. There's some shuffling and then slightly heavy breathing.
"H-Hello?" The familiar voice of Eddie rings. I giggle at how nervous he sounds. "Hey...I was just gonna call to tell you that you can come over now!"
"Bill's gone?"
"Yup!"
"BE THERE SOON BYE."
Before I can respond, the line goes dead. I huff at how eager he is, laughing a little. Within the span of about 15 minutes, there's a knock at the door. I open it and am immediately tackled into a hug by someone. Judging by his scent, I recognize the person as Eddie right away.
"I-I came as fast as I could!" He huffs, pulling back and breathing fanatically. Pulling out his inhaler, he takes a few hits and tries to relax himself.
I laugh a little.
"I didn't realize you missed me so much.."
"You have no idea." He dramatically says, before walking towards the couch and plopping down. I follow and sit by him.
Silence falls between the two of us.
"So..." I hum, "what now?"
He pretends to think, tapping his chin.
"I have an idea!" He claims, causing me to burst into giggles. "What?" I question.
"This!"
Quickly, he turns to me and lowers his lips onto mine. I lean back onto the couch, allowing him to fall onto me. His lips never leave mine during the process. His lips are soft against mine, and I begin to realize just how much I missed his kisses.
He hums is silent satisfaction, and I smile into the kiss.
Things begin heating up rather fast, as the previous pent up frustration is finally being released.
When I say "heating up", I mean literally.
It feels like could be 1000 degrees right now. Does Eddie feel this hot, too? He really never fails to surprise me. Anyone would expect him to be shy, but when you meet him in this manner, he is so far from shy.
His hands rest on my waist, and his lips are more insistent than usual. Suddenly, he pulls back.
I open my eyes and look up at him.
When had it gotten so dark out? Was his mom expecting him home anytime soon?
Instead of pushing his hand up my shirt like he normally would, he reaches his hand to the top button of my flannel. Looking me straight in the eyes, he undoes the top button. Then, when I don't object, he undoes the next one. Many thoughts rush through my mind.
I knew where this was going. And I'm okay with it.
Eddie Kaspbrak is going to be my first. Which is okay. He's already my only.
