Days have gone by since the girl has shown up to school. Eddie is worried. Extremely worried. He asked Bev if she was alright, but Bev admitted that she'd been staying over at Ben's place since last weekend.
All he wanted to do was see her, but even if he did, he wouldn't know what to say. After talking to the cheer squad, he found out who reported her. As expected, it was Evelyn. Oh boy, was he pissed. For days, Richie teased that he looked like his mom when he was mad. Eddie dropped Evelyn, telling her to stay as far away from him as possible. He felt so bad. He couldn't remove the image of Ally crying from his mind. He made her cry.
Eddie is so worried.
Bill isn't worried. Why would he be? He's been staying at her place practically everyday after school. Unlike Eddie, as soon as she stopped showing up to school, Bill headed to her place.
Bill Denbrough ditched class, to check on Ally Flower.
Thank the lord above that he did.
You know how he found her? He found the bright, colorful, wild, happy, beautiful girl nearly dead in her bathtub. Who would've ever thought that Ally Flower would try to end her own life? No one! Which is why no one went to check on her.
The girl was utterly disgusted with her life at the moment. She hated everything. There was no point in staying alive. She has no family, she has no life, she has no motivation.
Bill is slowly building her back up, and he swore to himself to never let her break herself down again. He only shared platonic feelings for the girl, despite everything they had done. Yet, sometimes he still kissed her. She still kissed him. They still kissed each other. As if it were nothing to them. When really, it was everything to both of them. Bill Denbrough couldn't even fathom the thought of dating her though. He couldn't do that to Eddie. Not even if he was mad.
It is Friday morning, and the stuttering boy is attempting to get the girl to come to school. He'd been doing that every day.
"Bill, why do you still show up?" Ally grumbles, lazily sprawled out onto the couch. "B-Because I care a-about you." He insists, sitting on the floor next to the couch.
Ally sighs loudly, turning her head to face him.
"Well I'm still not going." She huffs, crossing her arms. Bill stands, tugging at her hand.
"C-C'mon, please..."
He gives a pout. The pout. The famous Bill Denbrough pout. Ally groans loudly at this, standing up and pulling him into a tired hug. He gladly returns it, trying not to be fooled by her actions.
"I just don't want—BILL!"
Before she even has time to protest, the boy lifts her up and quickly begins to run out the door towards the school. He is not going to take no for answer this time.
"BILL, STOP!" She shouts through laughter. "I can't go like this! I don't even have my backpack!" Giggles fall out of her mouth as he continues to carry her towards the dreaded building.
Oh yeah, her backpack.
Playing it off, he shrugs his shoulders. "M-Mike can borrow you s-supplies throughout th-the day. He has you all d-day right?" The girl nods as he sets her on her feet. "Except for cheer— which I forgot I'm no longer in. Now I'm in art. So yes. I have him all day..."
Bill gives her a sincere smile before leaning down to kiss her lightly.
She gladly kisses back, appreciating the gesture of affection. When they both pull away, they begin to laugh for no real reason. They just laugh. Which makes Ally feel more alive.
"I still look like shit, you know?"
"N-No."
"Bill, look at me."
"Y-Yeah, I see you. You're w-wearing my hoodie."
Ally giggles.
"That all you see?"
"W-Well y-yeah.."
She rolls her eyes, walking hand in hand with the boy the rest of the way to the school. At least she had a pair of fuzzy slippers on.
