(I recommend the song for extra feels)

Ally skipped the rest of the school day. Going home to cry sounded more appealing. She's sat at her couch, gathering all the cigarettes she has laying around, she's been doing that all day long.

School let out about 5 hours ago, making it 9pm. By now, she had gathered about 20 packs of cigarettes. What did she plan to do with them? Watch and see.

Standing from the couch, she takes a random bag and stuffs all the cigarettes in there. She makes sure to grab the photo returned to her as well. Then, she stomps out the door, not bothering to clean herself up. She probably looked crazy, walking down the street with tear stained cheeks and a bag over her shoulder. Some might even say she looked like her mother.

Ally Flower couldn't care less right now.

She trudges her way towards the Kaspbrak household. When she gets there, she walks past the dirty yard and onto the porch. From there she pounds on the door. She doesn't even care if Sonia Kaspbrak were to answer. Every last hope in general was dead. Eddie answers.

The boy stares at his ex girlfriend in shock.

Ex girlfriend.

He really didn't like the sound of that. So, he smiles a little at her appearance, hoping for the best.

Maybe she's here to make up.

He hopes. He is sadly mistaken.

She angrily shoves the bag into his arms, with tears spilling down her cheeks. Along with the bag, is a picture he could've sworn was in his fanny-pack.

"W-What's this?" He nervously asks, sensing that it wasn't a 'let's-get-back-together' gift.

"All my cigarettes! Take them! You already took everything else from me!" She shouts. He confusedly holds the bag. "You took my heart, you took my friends, and to top it off, you took my high school experience! Well, congratulations, Eddie!" She sarcastically smiles through her tears. "You win."

"W-What're you talking about?" He asks, trembling with sadness. His voice even cracks a little. Genuinely, he didn't know what was happening.

Ally scoffs, beginning to step off the porch. "You submitted that picture. The Polaroid picture I gave you to keep in your fanny-pack. You fucking reported me, Eddie! Now I'm off the Cheer team. Don't act like you don't know."

He quietly watches her walk away.

But really, he doesn't know. He has no clue how this happened. "I-I didn't..." he whispers, although she is long gone.

In all honesty, he had so much guilt and regret eating at him that it was making him physically ill. He was stupid to kiss Evelyn, he knew that. She didn't taste sweet like Ally. She didn't feel soft. She didn't kiss the same way. She wasn't Ally. He was stupid to think that kissing her would make Ally pay more attention to him.

I mean–it worked, but it isn't the kind of attention he wants.

He glances down at the picture in his trembling hands. Tears fall onto it. Someone set him up. He didn't do it. He swears.

Mrs. Kaspbrak is sat in the living room, pretending to be asleep in the recliner. When really, she heard the whole thing go down. She hated to admit it, God she hated to admit it, but she wishes that Ally didn't leave. Her son is a wreck without her.

And oh boy, she'd never admit it out loud, but she actually likes Ally.

More than Evelyn at least.

Sonia Kaspbrak could not stand that despicable little girl. She lets out a disgusted scoff just thinking of Evelyn's name.

The first time she was introduced to Evelyn, the girl made an advance on Eddie, right in front of her face! It was truly unbelievable. However, Ally Flower, despite her previous accusations was no where near a whore. Ally at least tried to respect her. Sonia was simply a stubborn and over protective woman. Maybe a little irrational.

"Okay, a lot."

She mutters to herself, listening as her son sniffles at the door. Eddie didn't report her, he wouldn't. She knew that much. Her son was hopelessly devoted to the girl!

With a groan, the older woman heaves herself off the recliner. Slowly, she approaches her fidgety son. As much as she hated encouraging him to date girls, she knew the time was now. If he was gonna date anyone, it should at least be Ally. She was quite the catch, and has a future for herself. Eddie deserves someone as good as the cheerleader– ex cheerleader. She could fix that issue later. She could get Ally back on the team.

And as terrible as it sounded, she liked the idea of being able to brag that her son was dating a varsity captain cheerleader. Her son was dating a girl that wasn't some low-life.

Ally was the one and that was that.

"Edward. Come inside." She mumbles, but the boy doesn't even flinch. He just stands there. Shaking and sobbing and sniffling and weeping.

With a sigh, she decides to give in and show a little affection. Or sympathy. Whatever, more mothery stuff.

"If you love that girl, tell her the truth. She's clearly just as much of a mess without you."

Eddie turns around with a look of surprise. Was his mother...supporting Ally?

"Well, don't look at me like that!" She snaps, with a roll of her eyes. Eddie flinches and looks anywhere else as he wipes his cheeks. "But...
S-She hates me..." he whispers.

Sonia snorts in amusement at the statement.

Hate you? Oh, little boy, those "mosquito bites" on your neck say otherwise.

She thinks to herself. Eddie give a look of confusion at her laughter. "Eddie, she loves you. It's hurting her because it matters. First things first, to win her heart back, dump that skank Evelyn!"

"Mom!" He blushes wildly at her foul language. Mrs. Kaspbrak shrugs. "It's the truth. Listen to me young man, Ally is a far better catch than that little girl who couldn't even get her hickey down right." She chuckles and pokes at the small red spot on his neck. It wasn't even a bruise.

Eddie blushes deeply, feeling the need to bring out his inhaler and take a hit.

"I thought you hated Ally?" He asks, smiling lightly at her approval. "Yeah, well once upon a time, I hated your father too." She states. Eddie chuckles a little, stood their in silence.

"So what do I say to her? Me and Evelyn were never anything...she was just a mistake." Eddie sighs, following his mother into the living room to sit on the couch. "Well, first, find out who set you up, then apologize and explain. She'll let you." Sonia insists, watching her son fidget in his seat.

"And for the love of Christ, kiss her! Kiss her till she forgives you!"
