You Shook Me All Night Long, by AC/DC, plays loudly.

I bang my head as the bass drops, long hair flying everywhere as the record player blasts. Bev groans loudly from beside me, shoving a pillow over her head.

"Wakey wakey, Bev!" I cheer, hopping onto her bed and dancing. She swats at my legs, and throws the pillow up at me. "Ughhhh, five more minutesssss!" She begs, desperately trying to hide away under the blankets.

"Hurry up! We'll be late for the first day of high school!!" I sing, happily bouncing off her bed. My head nods to the beat of the music as I look through my outfits. Bev groggily sits up and looks over to me. I ignore her hard stare, pulling off my shirt and throwing on my oversized sweater.

"Aren't you gonna wear a bra under that?!" She gasps, climbing out of her bed finally.

I only snort in response.

Kicking off my pajama shorts, I pull up my high-waisted jean shorts. Dancing across the room, I pick up my belt from the floor and buckle it on. Upon looking at myself in the mirror, I find the sweater is a bit too large.

"Hmmm."

Contemplating whether or not to change into another shirt, I decide to just tuck in the large sweater a bit instead.

I turn to see Bev struggling to pull a shirt over her head, and to top it off, the shirt is inside out. A burst of giggle fall from my lips as I watch her lift the shirt above her eyes and glare at me. "What the hell are you laughing at, Flower?"

I shake my head and walk over to help her. Once the shirt is put on correctly, she thanks me and tiredly puts on a pair of jeans.

"Why are you so excited about school? I hate it." Bev mumbles, face now planted in a pillow. I turn back to my body length mirror and fix my lipstick. "I don't know. It's just kind of exciting to be in a new school..."

"Why? Everyone knows you already, so it's not like you'll be meeting anybody new." She points out. I turn to face her and examine her expression. She looks depressed. She must really hate school. "I guess I could understand why you must hate school...but it'll be different this year, okay? I'll be there. The boys will too. We'll all be there together."

She glances up at me appreciatively, nodding her head.

"I haven't seen the boys since...since we killed it." She says guiltily, clearing feeling bad for not contacting them. I wave her off reassuringly.

"I haven't either. Just Eddie. But the last time I even saw him was like a week ago. Either way, I've stayed in contact with them all and they all agreed on sticking together this year." I say, grabbing my book bag. She follows my lead, grabbing hers as well. She blushes a little before asking, "did Bill ask about me?"

I laugh and nod.

"Of course he did. Now let's start walking, I wanna be a little early so we can meet the other in front of the school before class. Maybe we'll have some class with them!"

Nodding her head, we both head out my front door.
