Angelina's POV

People say distance makes hearts grow fonder but still the separation that comes with it hurts like a b*tch. It has been 8 years since I last saw him, my first and only love Drew. Isn't it funny that all my memories with him since kindergarten through 3rd grade are a blur except the only day I want to forget with everything I have - the day I left North Carolina, the day I left him. It was as if my whole world had crashed upon me. If only I could meet him...

"Angel! Get your lazy ass down here or I am leaving without you!" My batsh*t crazy twin yells, breaking my train of thoughts.

"Hey! You can't leave your beloved sister to take a bus on the first day of her senior year!" I yell back and after combing my straight auburn hair I run down the stairs.

"I can and I will if you don't get inside the car in 5 minutes. I don't want a detention on the first day of my senior year." Ash says and then walks out. We both have baby blue eyes and the same features just mine are more feminine. By his tone, I think he is serious so I grab a toast, yell bye to mom and dad and rush out after him after hearing a distant response from them.

Finally, the heaven where I have been dying to get back to comes into our sight. Note the sarcasm, for real I can't wait to get out of this hell hole of a school. But well, since it is senior year, I plan to live my fullest but of course with my zero drama policy...

Suddenly, someone slams into our car from backside, jerking us forward. God, I have never been so grateful of seat-belts. But who in the actual fu*king hell did this!?

"Who the hell do you think you are!?"Asher barks at someone, most probably at the person responsible. I didn't even notice him getting out. "First, you wreck our car and now act like it's not a big deal. For all you know, you could have killed us."

"Oh please, stop being so dramatic. It is not as if you have even suffered any major injuries. Here, take my number and just let me know about the repairs cost." From inside, I see a dark haired boy I have never seen before talking to Ash. He must be the one who hit us though he is too cocky.

"I don't want your damn money!" Asher bites out. I have never been more proud of him. I get out of the car slowly so as to not hurt myself.

"Look, I don't have time for your sh*t and I don't know if you like creating a scene out of a small accidents just to draw attention but I surely am not in the least bit interested." The boy says dryly. That is when I notice the crowd that has formed around us. He is such an asshole!

"Asher, let him be, we will take care of the car later," I say glancing at our poor baby while practically trying to drag him away from the asshole. The keyword being trying.

"Anne, let me go, he needs to be put in his place," Oh no, Asher's face is totally red. I have never seen him this angry. This is so not good....

"Hey Ash! Look at me! Ash! You don't want to do this."

"Oh wow, look at this, even your girl knows you don't stand a chance. Consider this your last chance and leave with her." The asshole mocks Asher smirking and everyone starts laughing at us. I will just call him that since I don't even know his name and f*ck everyone!

"If anything, it's you who needs to hide to save his pathetic ass 'cause I am sure your muscles are as vain as your eyes," I retort.

"Stay out of this pretty girl, just take care of your worthless boyfriend." The nerve of this jerk!

"F*ck!" He says, stumbling backwards when I punch him square in the jaw. My hand hurts a bit but not that much. It is times like this I am glad I allowed Asher to teach me how to fight. "B*tch be glad I don't hit girls!"

This guy really needs to shut his stupid mouth. So I did what normally most girls do, I kneed him where the sun doesn't shine.

"But I hit assholes." I smirk in satisfaction seeing him groaning in pain. Normally, I would have regretted it and helped him but he deserved it.

He must have gained some of his senses as when I had just turned around to walk away. He croaked "Are you crazy!?"

"Not until someone wrecks my car, then acts like it is no big f*cking deal and has the nerve to talk to my brother like that." I snap. I am done with all their b*llshit. "Don't ever mess with me or my family."Then give him the deadliest glare I could muster.

Then turning my glare to the wide eyed audience I say "I think everyone got the message loud and clear."

Then while grabbing a quite stunned Asher, I walk out of the parking lot without sparing anyone a second glance. So much for my zero drama policy.

When we were just about to reach our lockers, I hear Rosie and Katie yell our names while frantically running towards us.

"What the hell happened there!?" They shout in unison, eying me with a disbelieving stare.

"I am sure you either must have already seen and if not that, then heard." I grumble, now uncomfortable with all the eyes trained on us that my adrenaline has calmed down.

"What I mean is I have never seen you act out until today!" Rosie says. She is one of my best friends and has green eyes and red curly hair which resemble fire when she is angry.

"Yeah! What has gotten into you?" Asher adds, I think he has finally gotten over the shock.

"It's just that I am tired of everyone walking all over us. They have only seen my good side, now anyone who crosses us would be subjected to the b*tchy one." I tell them truthfully.

"You go girl!" "Let's show them who we are!" Katie and Rosie say at the same time. Rosie looks ready to conquer the world.

"Okay, although I am really proud of my lil sis, we don't need to hunt down every bully right now," Asher says, wrapping an arm around my overenthusiastic bestie's shoulders.

"I.....umm...well..." Rosie starts blushing and becomes a stuttering mess. She has had a crush on him since our junior year and keeps trying to show him but he remains oblivious. Sometimes, I wonder if his brain is as thick as porridge.

"You are like 4 minutes older than me!" I pout, referring to the lil sis comment mostly to save Rosie from further embarrassment but also since it is true.

"4 minutes or a year, you are still younger lil sis," He smirks, ruffling my hair. Rosie grants me a grateful look.

"Whatever," I say, swatting his hand away. He knows it pisses me off.

"At least you don't have a crazy younger brother," Katie says, referring to her younger brother, Sam. Katie is one of my other best friends. She has light brown eyes and wavy dark brown hair with light brown in between. They are like natural highlights.

"Or a whiny younger sister," Rosie adds. Her sister Tay and Sam are freshmen this year.

We all start laughing. People start giving us weird stares. I raise an eyebrow at a few people and they quickly turn away. These people really need to get a life.

"Alright, now I have to take my leave, I am sure you ladies have classes to be in," He mock salutes as the warning bell goes off.

"Well, as much as I hate to say this, we still have to go to classes even after dealing with that asshole." I sigh.

"Oh come on, it's senior year, maybe they will teach something interesting," Rosie says, trying to assure me, while we continue walking towards our first class.

"Keyword being maybe," I mutter under my breath. And Katie starts coughing though her cough sounded like bookworm.

"Did you two say something?" Rosie eyes us suspiciously.

At this Katie falls into another coughing fit. While I look up to her with my most innocent look. "Me!?Nope, Nothing, Nada."

"Okaaay," She says in a disbelieving tone. "And Katie, please take care of your cough."

Katie gives her thumbs up, finally calming down.

When we finally reach the classroom, only one thing is going on in my mind. This drama is only one time thing right? People will forget about this tomorrow and then I can carry on with my zero drama policy. Right? But little did I know about the things in store for me in the upcoming days.

I had started writing this book last year but had to stop because of my schedule getting pretty hectic. When I read it again now I decided to do some changes. So those who have already read this chapter may have to read it again. Though the storyline is same I added a few extra things.
