Pim and Charlie responded to a call about a distressed woman being a danger to others.

Charlie had expected the distressed woman was probably armed with a weapon and was very hesitant to even take the job, but knowing Pim, he knew he had to come along.

"Don't worry Charlie, I'm sure she's as harmless as you and me. She just needs some cheering up!"

"Pim, I know it's our job and everything, but I think we should sit this one out, I mean people seemed really panicked on the phone about this girl. She might be really mentally ill"
Charlie swallowed thickly, he tried to convince Pim on this mission that it might be too dangerous for the two of them to just walk into the scene unarmed.

"Oh come on Charlie, we haven't even met the girl yet, and you're already giving up? Where's your friendly spirit???" Pim tried to reassure his partner.
"Somewhere safe that isn't going near an armed crazy person."

They arrived to the place. The park.
Or what they think it was.
The place was over run with overgrown weeds and plants.
Grass as tall as the sky and weeds that looked prickly as cactuses.
Speaking of cactus they were everywhere as well.

Tall pillars of them with spikes of different sizes protruding from the green skinned cacti.

The two made note to keep from them as much as possible.
From the maze of overgrown plants, they could hear the sound of a woman crying in the center not too far from where they stood.
"I think I can hear her!" Pim announced, running towards the brush carefully maneuvering through.

Pim heard the cries get louder and louder.
And finally he stopped. And gazed upon the scene in front of him.

It was a young lady
With (h/c) hair and (s/c) skin.
She was knelt down on her knees and had her face burrowed in her arms.
Her sobs disheartened Pim. It was pure sorrow.
Something he knew all too well.

"Uh Ma'am? Are you alright?" Pim came a bit closer and reached out towards the woman.
She sensed this incoming contact, and automatically sent a pillar of cacti to block his hand.
"Go AWAY." She cried.
Pim jumped, and pulled his hand from the cacti as quick as he could taking a step back.
Maybe this wasn't a good idea.
She looked up with a sorrowful and angered look.
But when she did she realized, it wasn't just anyone who came to harass her.

Pim saw her eyes and quickly realized that she. She was beautiful.
She wasn't just any crazy person. But a pretty one.
"I'm sorry! I thought you were someone else." She said embarrassed. Quickly pushing back the pillar

"No no! Don't be sorry! I'm here to help! My name is Pim and I'm with the smiling friends. We were called here because of a distressed call. What's the matter miss?"

The woman rose to her knees and allowed for Pim to come closer and sit next to her.
"Well. I don't know. I was broken up with just recently from my boyfriend of three years. I guess it's because of all this. He didn't like my powers. But I don't know. I can't control it when I'm stressed out. It's not my fault... is it?"

Pim stared into Her eyes. He was hypnotized by their color and how the emotions swirling in them were as colorful.
Her voice was even more beautiful. It sounded like a song bird to him.
But he realized now is not the time for flirting.
"It's not your fault, it's just something you have trouble with. Sometimes we all lose touch with our emotions and they just go wild. Of course none I've ever seen would be like this."

"I guess you're right." She laughed, "I'm sorry for making such a fuss about this. I guess it's really hit hard since."
"It happens! We just need a way to forget about it! Have you thought of just going and making new friends?" Pim asked.

"Well no, I guess I should huh? Move on and such? He's never coming back at this point so I might as well."
"That's the spirit! Maybe we can be friends? Try to start to step in the right direction?"
"Yea! I'd like that!" She smiled, finally feeling her lips lighten and a weight on her chest lift.
And finally the plants around them shrivel up and fall.

The world around them revealed. And a dismayed Charlie that was almost torn to shreds and impaled by thorns was quickly found.

"Thank you Pim! I hope our friendship will blossom into something wonderful." She smiled this time showing her teeth.
It seemed her smile got bigger as she fixed the things around her.
"And as an apology for everyone" she bowed her head
(Y/n) grew flowers of different colors and species all over the park and to everyone's delight.

Pim was astonished to see the sight he was seeing.
"Charlie Charlie! We did it! Successful mission!"
"That's great Pim, but I think I got stung by some sort of poison ivy."
Charlie's face was swollen red, and it looked to be just getting worse by the second.
"We should get you to the hospital."
"No no, I think I'm fine, I think I just need to lie down."
"Charlie, I think it's getting wor-"
Charlie fucking died.
