I'm sorry for my absence. I wasn't sure if I wanted to update this book anymore, and I decided to come back here for at least a bit because I love this book so much, along with the fact that I tried looking for certain headcanons that I no one exactly wrote about yet...

Then I was working on a ton of projects... and I'm actually back with some exciting news!

Though I'm busy with many things, I'll try to make chapters when I can until I get too overwhelmed. Lol!
Without further a do, let's get into this chapter. ☆

☆ Smiling Critters When They Made You Cry Headcanons 1/2 ☆

☀️ DogDay ☀️

°Whether he did something wrong intentionally or unintentionally, he was pretty upset about it, that was until he noticed he made you far more upset than he already was.

°Seeing you slowly fall apart in front of him, he knew immediately that he was in the wrong. For a moment, he was only frozen in place and stuck on his words.

°He feels extremely bad for it.

°DogDay never usually makes anyone cry. He's always so used to making everyday Critter-ific and fun!!! Bringing cheer and...the complete opposite of this... He's starting to question himself. Wondering how and why he made you cry.

°At first, he tries not to say anything and avoids even looking at you, but he feels so bad for the tears falling from your eyes, especially when he knows it's his fault.

°He releases small whimpers one moment, but the next, he has you in a tight embrace, trying to find comfort and give you comfort at the same time.

°He runs his gentle paws over your head to sooth you, hush you, and reassure you. He'd even whisper small words like "I'm so sorry" and "It's okay. Everything is okay, angel."

°DogDay will not let go until he hears that you've stopped crying, he'd even refuse. He can't afford to let you feel this sadness alone (He'd only let go if you found better comfort without being held). He's redeeming himself. (😭)

°Kisses and hugs (If you want it), watch out though, he will give you affectionate puppy licks, and he does it alot because he's happy! His tail is finally wagging again when he cheers you up!

°And after he calms you down, he won't do it again, and will even buy you your favorite food and/or drink to make up for it! He's a good boy. 🐶☀️

°Every now and then when the moment comes back to him through his thoughts, he will randomly blurt out to you "Do you still forgive me?" "You won't change your mind, right?"
It's just adorable!! ^^

🌟 KickinChicken 🌟

°So, this may sound stupid, but after you guys (most likely) got into an arguement (or possibly something else he did), and he sees you crying, he just stands there and asks "Why are you crying?"

°You're fr like "Is bro serious right now?"
But of course, you're crying so-

°Kickin sighs and runs his hand through his hair, feeling really guilty at this point. He finally realizes that his actions hurt your feelings, but can't find the right words to give a proper apology.

°Whether he shows it or not, deep inside, he wants to cry too. He really didn't mean to hurt your feelings, so he wants to just to dip out and cry somewhere, but he knows he can't when you're in this state of distress.

°Usually, KickinChicken wouldn't drop his ego, not even for 100 bucks, especially being most known as "The Cool Kid" of the Smiling Critters, but for you, he'd at least be more gentle.

°He'd approach you, then quietly hold your hand in his. When you'd look at him, he has this somewhat sympathetic expression, but at the same time, he really wants to give you an encouraging smile if he didn't feel so bad.

°He'd at least mutter "I didn't mean it" or "You don't have to cry anymore if I'm here." which is his way of saying even though he is the reason for making you cry, he wants his presence to make you feel better. Also his way of saying he won't do it again.

°He'd even get you a gift of whatever you like, and he knows what you like too, because he's always by your side all the time!

°Now don't get me wrong, he will apologize properly in due time, he just needs to find the right words, since he isn't the best with words unless he kept that cool ego of his, but it's really that he wants to be honest and gentle with you.

°Nvm, he apologizes through song. A quote on quote "radical" song, by the one and only KickinChicken. 🎶

°Even if it wasn't in the way you expected, he did it completely out of love. ♡

💡 Bubba Bubbaphant 💡

°Bubba is so ticked off about whatever the arguement was about or how it happened (or whatever happened) that he just rants about everything that's a problem to him in his perspective.

°In all honesty, it only makes things worse. He already hurt your feelings, now he's rubbing it in.

°He doesn't realize he had hurt you until he notice the tears rolling down your cheeks. He instantly feels regret.

°He tries to stay mad, even cross his arms and pout, but he knows he's in the wrong, and his expression turns to one of guilt.

°Cracking under pressure, Bubba doesn't know whether to comfort you, or tell you to suck it up. He's always the one to handle a situation the smart way, so he really wants to know what to do.

°It looks like he's just standing there, but he really wants to find the right solution to the situation.

°Finally, after what felt like forever, he scoops you into his arms and sits you down, then he sits in front of you.

°He just pats your shoulder or your back and tells you it's okay. In fact, he's trying not to hug you to not look soft. It's already hard enough for Bubba to go from being so mad to giving you comfort.

°He finally whispers apologies to you for what he did, only hoping that you can forgive him. He's feeling some massive guilt right now.

°To make you feel better, he sits close to you and reads one of his favorite books to you. He wants you to know he still loves you so much and would do anything for you. ♡

🌙 CatNap 🌙

°He hisses, sways his tail rapidly, and sharpens his claws during an arguement (or whatever happened), though he doesn't really shout unless he was really really mad, his words still come out unbelievably harsh.

°He doesn't get too close in proximity, but he has his way to assert his dominance, having you cornered or against a wall.

°When he makes you cry, he doesn't really react at first, he's still trying to cool down from everything.

°That's until a frown slowly creeps onto his face, and his body relaxes a bit. He feels like not only he hurt your feelings, but he also may have scared you.

°He sighs and would usually stand there for a moment before approaching you.

°CatNap would pick you up and hold you in his arms, sitting somewhere cozy rocking you back and forth and hushing you.

°He'd say in his everyday soft, soothing voice "Okay, Okay. I'm sorry." And "Shh.. Shh.. It's okay."

°Funny thing is, he's trying to comfort and sooth you from your tears, but end up tiring himself in the process.

°He would wipe your tears away with his soft paws, still whispering sweet nothings to you.

°When he makes you feel better, he wants to take a peaceful nap with you, all while purring and holding you.

°He tries his best to show you how much he loves you through both words and actions, and he's really good at it too. ^^
