Thoughts
I woke up and I just didn't want to go to school. I didn't want to see Colleen, Gabbie or anyone. But I decided to go to school anyways.
When I got to the school building I saw Gabbie waiting for me, like she always does.
"Hey, Liza." Gabbie said with a sad tone. I waved. "Are you fine?"
"Yes. I am." I answered eventhough I wasn't.
"Colleen texted me. She said we should wait for her." Gabbie said. I shrugged.
"You wait for her. I'll just quickly go to the bathroom." I said and went to the restroom. I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked horrible today. My hair was a mess, clothes all over the place, it was just a mess. I sat down, wrapped my arms around my knees and just sat there, in complete silence.
Suddenly the door opened. I looked up and Ariana came in with her 3 girls.
"What is she doing?" One girl asked her friends. I think her name is Regina.
"She's so dumb." The black haired one said. I think her name is Karen.
"She's a loser." The third one said. I think her name is Janice. Ariana didn't say a thing. She was just fixing her make-up.
"What should we do with her? Ari?" Karen asked. Ariana shrugged.
"Do whatever you want. I don't care." She replied and continued fixing her make-up. Regina looked at her weirdly. Like she didn't recognise Ariana. Is Ariana on my side?
Ariana was done fixing her make-up and started going out of the bathroom.
"You got lucky this time." Regima said before she exited.
The bathroom was finally empty again. Thoughts flew through my head. Is Ariana warming up to me? Was it a mistake that I went to Colleen's house yesterday? Is Gabbie really worried about me? Will Ariana change? Am I a mistake? Should I never come back? Should I block everyone out of my life? Am I only the drama to everyone's life?
Then the doors opened again. It was Ariana. Only her. Without her girls.
"Get up. Don't sit there. What is your problem?" She gave me a hand and I took it and she helped me up.
"Where are your friends? Your girls?" I asked.
"I told them to go somewhere they want. I was getting annoyed by them." As she was speaking she took out a mascara and started fixing her lashes.
"And why are you talking to me... while fixing your make-up... again?" I asked and she shrugged.
"You're one of the few people who still aren't getting on my nerves." She said and I was shocked. Did she mean it?
"What do you mean?" I asked. Did she enjoy my company?
"What I mean is... I... I'm sorry for the way I've treated you." She said and turned to me. "I treated you like a garbage bag. I was just tossing you around. And yesterday I saw that really aren't that bad of a person. I am the problem. I cried myself to sleep yesterday because of how bad I felt. And I've know that you live in that shack at the end of the street. I've known that for quite some time."
"How did you find out?" I asked.
"I followed you home, but I didn't say anything to anyone. Well, exept Colleen." She said. I was so shocked that she was confessing all of this to me.
"And that's why Colleen followed me home one day. Because you told her to. But I still have one question." I said. She was ready to answer. But then the bell rang.
"Meet me behind the school during lunch. Then we can talk a bit more." She said and then walked out. I guess the question will have to wait until lunchtime.
