At lunchtime I said to Gabbie that I don't feel like eating. I said that I'll be reading my book.

When I got to the tree behind the school I sat down, leaned my back against the tree and started reading my book. I was reading for good five minutes before Ariana finally showed up.

"Sorry, Liza. I couldn't get rid of the girls. They're a pain in the ass." She said and crouched down to my eye level. She closed my book. "Ask me the question from before."

"Oh right. Well, give me my book back first." I said. She rolled her eyes and gave me my book back. Then her friends came.

"I thought I told you to stay away from here." Ariana got angry.

"Well, we wanted to join you when we noticed that Liza wasn't in the cafeteria." Regina said. Ariana turned to me and gave me a pleading look. I decided I would play along with her game. I nodded slightly. Right after that she pulled my hair. It hurt like hell.

"I got this one. I wanna give her the lesson she deserves on my own." She said as she was still pulling my hair tighter. Then suddenly Colleen and Gabbie showed up. Perfect timing. This couldn't have gone worse.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Colleen yelled.

"What do you think?" Janice said. Gabbie suddenly launched towards Regina. She kicked her in the stomach. Karen and Janice ran away and when Gabbie let go of Regina, she ran away too. Now it was just like yesterday. Colleen, Gabbie, Ariana and I.

"Get the fuck off of her!" Colleen yelled. Ariana was still pulling my hair.

"No, not this time. Yesterday I let her go, but today she's mine. Leave her to me." Ariana said.

"No fucking way!" Gabbie said. Colleen nodded.

"Just let her have me." I said. Colleen and Gabbie gave me a confused look.

"You wanna get beaten up? Are you crazy?" Colleen asked.

"Better me than any of you." I said and gave them a pleading look. They stepped away. Ariana pulled me by my hair and we ran into the second floor bathroom.

When we got to the bathroom and locked the door she let go of me.

"That hurt so much." I said. Ariana looked guilty at me. "But I decided to play along. It's not your fault. It was to save your reputation."

"When you say it like that it sounds bad." She said. I nodded. "Ask me the fucking question."

"Ok. If you knew where I lived for so long, why didn't you say the whole school so everyone would bully me? I'm sure you would've enjoyed it." I said she gave me a guilty look.

"Yes, I would've enjoyed it. That's the bad part. But I didn't say anything because I wanted to tease you about it. So it would hit you on the personal level. I wanted to be the main girl of our group. I wanted Colleen out. That's why I constantly wanted to prove to them that I can tease you so that it hurts more. I'm sorry. I was a monster. I still am. What the fuck is my problem? Why are you even giving me a chance?" Ariana finished and I saw her holding back the tears.

"I gave Colleen a second chance. I am just that type of a person. I let everyone in my life and that's what I hate about myself. It'll ruin me one day. When I let someone monsterous in my life. They will just manipulate me like their puppet." I said. Then the bell rang.

"Just promise me to avoid me. And don't talk to me. I don't want to cause more trouble than I already have." She said and walked out. I made my way to my next class.
