"Why did you come here even?" She asked. "You didn't have to walk for two hours to just hear my dumbass mom saying how much she hates you."

"I wanted to hang out with you. I wanted to make it up to you for what Colleen, Gabbie and my mom did at the hospital. I felt really bad." I said.

"But you did absolutely nothing. They don't like me. It's not your fault." She comforted.

"But I don't want them to hate you. I wanna show them that you changed." I said.

"I didn't change one bit. Just my relationship with you changed." She said. "You know what? Wanna go shopping? We'll go whereever you want." She said. I didn't even get to answer and she stood up and put her fancy jacket on. "Where's your jacket?" She asked.

"I don't have one." I answered. She went to her closet and pulled out a grey jacket.

"Take it. It's the least shiny one I have. Ifigured you'd like that one." She said and handed me the jacket.

"I-I don't wanna take your stuff. I feel bad taking stuff from other people." I explained.

"Then just put it on and give it to me later. I'd love it if you keep it, but you don't have to." She said. I took the jacket. I'll just give it to her later. Then we went out of the room. "Mom, we're going shopping!" Ariana shouted out.

"No, you're not." She started when she walked over to us. "You don't have money and I am definitely not giving you any if you go with the rat over here." She said and pointed to me. I felt tears building up. I've gotten insulted before, but this one was one of the worst insults.

"Mom, she's a human being. Just like you. She deserves to be treated like one." Ariana started, smiled at me and took my hand. "And I do have money in my wallet. Right here." She said and took out 5000 dollars." Her mom gave Ariana an angry look and then started speaking again.

"If she's a human, then I'm a goddess." Her mom said.

"You know what? I'm done with you." Ariana said and led me out of the house. She slammed the door shut as she exited. "Get in my car." She said. I looked over and saw a pink car. I got in the front seat and she sat in the driver's seat. She drove to the closest mall. She parked and we went in the mall. I never actually was in this mall.

"Where do you wanna go?" She asked. I shrugged.

"Go wherever you wanna go. I'll follow." I said. First she led me into a Forever 21 store.

"I'll buy you something too. Doesn't matter how expensive. Just pick out something you like." She said and went looking for clothes. I don't really want her to buy me anything. But I still looked around to see what they have. Soon I found a t-shirt. It was a plain white t-shirt that just said smile on it. It was perfect. And it wasn't really expensive. Then I found Ariana and she already had a skirt, three crop tops and a sweater in her hand.

"You really shop quickly." I commented and she turned to me. She saw I was holding a shirt.

"What did you find?" She asked me. I showed her. She smiled. "Why exactly is that so cute to you? I mean, it's cute because you really should smile more, but why only this simplest shirt?" She asked.

"Well, when I got to this school, y'know, none of you wanted to my friend. You insulted me and hit me. So I started just saying to myself to smile. I would put this smile on my face eventhough it was fake. I pretended to be happy eventhough I was miserable. So this saying is really personal to me." I confessed and she put a hand on my shoulder.

"I really hope that now you have a genuine and true smile on your face. I hope this isn't a fake smile and you secretly hate me right now and want me dead." She said.

"It is a genuine smile." I said and she smiled at me. Then she led me to the dressing room.

"Try it on. See how it looks on you." She said. I got in the dressing room and put the shirt on. I came out of the dressing room and looked at myself in the mirror. It looked perfect. I looked at Ariana. Her face was full of happiness. "You should buy it." She said. I nodded. "How much does it cost?" She asked.

"Um... 10 dollars." I said. She handed me 10 dollars to buy it. "Thank you." I just thanked her, then went back ito the dressing room and changed to my old shirt. Then she went into the dressing room to try everything on. Everytime she came out with a new top or a skirt she looked perfect. Everything fit her perfectly. She decided to buy everything. When we bought the stuff we put it all in one bag. Then we went to eat.

"I feel like eating McDonalds right now." She said. Suddenly she stopped.

"Ariana? Everything okay?" I asked. She slowly pointed to the three girls walking in the distance. It was Regina, Janice and Karen.
