Black eye
Medicate is out and it's soooo good. My favorite by Gabbie so far.💚
Colleen was trying to reason with Ariana, but she wouldn't let her.
"Ari, please. Talk to me." Colleen kept trying. Then she saw me and Gabbie. She ran straight towards me and hugged me. "Liza, where were you?" She asked. I looked at the ground.
"She wanted to kill herself. But thank god I was quick enough to save her." Gabbie said.
"Oh my goodness." Colleen said. "How were you planning to kill yourself at school?" She asked. I still didn't say anything.
"She wanted to put a knife through her stomach. In the cooking club room." Gabbie explained.
"You wanted to kill yourself?" Ariana suddenly spoke up. Her voice sounded very weak. I looked at her. Her eyes were completely red. Suddenly the bathroom door swung open. And Regina, Karen and Janice entered.
"Look who's crying. The new loser. This school went from two to four in a week. That's a record." Regina teased.
"Could you just get the fuck out of here?" Colleen got angry.
"We don't listen to losers." Janice said.
"Then what do you want?" Gabbie asked.
"We want Ari. The old Ari." Karen said.
"Ariana? I..." I trailed off. Then Ariana stood up.
"The old Ari doesn't exist. You can't get her." Ariana said and the three girls gasped. Ariana walked to where Gabbie, Colleen and I were standing.
"What is your problem?" Regina asked.
"I found happiness. And I don't care how many people know that my mom kicked me out, I'm happy. Finally happy. Now fuck off." She said and the girls exited the bathroom, almost crying. "I didn't think you were gonna go as far to kill yourself. I'm sorry." She turned to me and said when the doors were closed.
"I thought I lost everything. I thought I lost everyone. I just thoght you'd all be happy if I don't exist anymore." I said. All three of the girls started shaking they're heads.
"You killing yourself would just put me in deep depression. I'd blame myself." Gabbie said.
"I'll go. I know you don't want me here. I'll just stay away from you at school." Ariana said. Colleen grabbed her arm.
"Ari, listen. I'm sorry. You really have changed. I should've given you a chance. Liza gave you a chance and she was right. You deserved one." Colleen confessed and Gabbie nodded.
"I'm sorry too." Gabbie simply stated.
"I was always jelaous at you, Colleen. When you were popular I was jelaous because I was in your shadows and now I was jelaous because you looked so happy. If anything, I should be the one apologizing." Ariana said.
"Stay with us. I don't want you to be left alone. Especially not know where everything is fucked up in your life." Colleen said and smiled at Ariana.
"Fine. I'll stay." Ariana said and Colleen hugged her.
-----------------------------------------------------------
At lunchtime the four of us went behind the school.
"Are you really okay with the whole school knowing you're living with me?" I asked Ari.
"Yeah. They had to find out someday." She replied.
"You really aren't mad?" I asked again.
"I said no. I'm really not mad at you." Ariana said. We sat down on the grass and leaned against the fence. I took my book out and started rereading it again. Gabbie and Colleen were talking about something, but I didn't concentrate on their conversation. I looked to my left and Ariana wasn't there. It was just Colleen and Gabbie.
"Gabbie? Colleen? Where's Ariana?" I asked. They both shrugged.
"I never noticed she left." Gabbie said.
"Well, yeah, 'cause she's tiny." I said and ran off tonsearch for her. When I got close to the backdoor I heard sobs coming from a nearby bush. Soon Colleen and Gabbie followed. When I looked behind the bush it was Ariana crouched down. "Ari?" I asked. She didn't looke at me. "Ariana, if it's because of me, I'm real..." I trailed off as soon as she looked at me. Her nose was bleeding and she has a big black spot around her left eye and on her forehead. "What happened?" I asked.
"It was the girls. I just wanted to go get something to drink and they pushed me to the ground and kicked me in the face." She said. I looked at her crop-top and there was also blood on her crop-top.
"I have a spare crop-top. But it's bright yellow." Colleen said.
"That one'll do." Ariana said. Colleen got a crop-top out of her purse. Ariana hid behind the bush and changed crop-tops. Then we went inside. But we were hiding Ariana from everyone. We got to the nearest bathroom and Ariana cleaned the blood off of her face.
"I can help you cover up the black spots." Colleen suggested. Ariana nodded. And so Colleen covered the spots the best she could. You could still see the spots a little bit if you really take a good look. After that the bell rang and we went to class.
