Angry

"What happened to not overdressing?" I asked Ariana.

"I'm sorry. I couldn't put myself through that torture." She replied. I raised an eyebrow at her.

"What the fuck are you even doing here? Who invited you?" Colleen got angry.

"As soon as I heard why you went I wanted to come too. And I invite myself everywhere I want." She said.

"Oh. My. God." My mom said. "No wonder everyone here hates you." She added.

"Mom!" I shouted.

"It's the truth, Liza. She's a brat. You can't change her." My mom replied.

"I-I mean... Maybe your mom's right, Liza. I am spoiled and I was stupid when I thought you could change me. I'll just go." Ariana said.

"You better go." Colleen said. Gabbie nodded.

"What the fuck?" I mouthed to Gabbie and Colleen and ran after Ariana.

"Wait up!" I shouted. She turned around. I stopped in front of her.

"You shouldn't shout in a hospital." She said.

"You're right." I said. "See? You already are changing. You care about your surroundings." I said. She shook her head.

"No, you should just never shout or scream in a hospital." She said. "I'm going. I made a mistake when I came here. I knew Colleen and Gabbie hate me. And now I know that your whole family hates me. I'll just never talk to you. I'm better off being a bitch that I was." She confessed. Then she turned around and started walking away, but I held her arm. "Why are you so invested in fixing me?" She asked.

"They just need to give you a chance and they'll see the Ariana I see. The beautiful, smart and selfless Ariana." I said.

"I don't know where you see that Ariana because I'm struggling so hard to see that one. I'm struggling so hard that I'm beginning to think that it just doesn't exist." She said. "Now let me go. I don't want to ruin your moment with your dad." She added, broke free of my hold and walked away. I watched her walk away until she was out of my view. Then I went back into the room my dad was in.

"What took so long?" Gabbie asked. I rolled my eyes.

"You wouldn't understand." I said. And turned to my dad. "Are you better now?" I asked.

"Yes. But who was that girl?" He asked.

"I-It's not impotant." I said.

"It is." My mom said. I got scared. "That girl was Liza's bully. And you've heard her just now. She's a rich, spoiled brat." My mom said. Then she turned to me. "And you stay away from her before she does something again." She said in a demanding voice.

"You know what? I'm going home. Bye dad. I'll see you tomorrow." I said and walked out angrily. Gabbie's mom was still waiting in the car. She literally waited here for like four hours. I walked up to her.

"Could you please take me home?" I asked kindly. She gave me a hesitant look, but then she gave in and let me get in the car. She started the car and started driving.

"So Gabbie is fine with your bank balance? And where you live?" She suddenly asked.

"Well, yes, but I'd rather not talk about Gabbie right now. Are you okay with that though?" I returned the question.

"Um... not really, but this was a serious situation, so I had to help you." She said.

"So you're just like everyone else in this town. Everyone who lives in a big house is the greatest person on the earth and everyone else is in their shadow. Just like like Colleen's parents. And Ariana's." I said. She got angry.

"What did you say? How dare you!" She shouted. "You think we're all the same? And Gabbie isn't?" She asked.

"No. Her and Colleen actually don't care how much money someone has. They just want to have friends that actually care about them." I explained. Then she kept quiet until we got to my house.

"Thanks for the ride." I said as I got out of the car.

"Um, can I ask you a question?" She asked.

"Yeah, sure." I replied.

"What's your last name?" She asked. It was a weird question.

"Koshy. Why you askin'?" I asked.

"No reason." She answered. Then she waved and drove off.
