After Y/n and DogDay met up with the other Smiling Critters at the Picnic Area, Bobby Bearhug was the first one to introduce himself to Y/n as well as the other as they seem to enjoy Y/n's company, well everyone except KickinChicken as he suddenly refused to admit to like Y/n, but he seems to be hiding that kind of feeling inside of him like he sees Y/n as a friend or a little brother.

In fact, KickinChicken would totally like the idea of being the cool big brother to Y/n than the others, but Y/n has to prove himself to the yellow chicken to be friends with him.

DogDay: Everyone, this is Y/n! He's our new friend here and we figured we can hang out with him today to get to know us better.

Bobby Bearhug: I think that's a great idea, DogDay.

Bubba Bubbaphant: I suppose I can take a break on my studies to home-school Y/n for a bit.

PickyPiggy: And I can take him to lunch to Applebee's with my one and only special coupon that expires tonight, then we can bake a cake together after lunch.

KickinChicken: Excuse me, I hate to be a bother, but I got better things to do than to babysitter someone younger than me.

Hoppy: Well, if you won't participate in taking care of Y/n, then I will just take your time with him.

KickinChicken: Fine. See if I care.

DogDay: Kickin! You have to participate, or Y/n won't get to know you better.

KickinChicken: So, what? I don't see why I should be friends with a kid like Y/n.

Bubba: Because he needs friends to watch over him and the other kids are always giving him a hard time ever since he arrived at Playcare. I figured he would have a hard time at the Schoolhouse and I'm sure Miss Delight won't mind me being Y/n's home-school teacher.

KickinChicken: Whatever. Let's get this over with so I go back to what I do best.

DogDay: Fine. Alright, Critter Crew. Let's give Y/n a jolly good time.

Everyone, but Y/n and KickinChicken: Yeah!

Y/n: This should be interesting. I hope CatNap is okay.

So Y/n gets to spent the whole day in the Dream Realm with the Smiling Critters while CatNap is doing is daily job as the mailman (Which is surprising that CatNap got a job as a mailman in the Smiling Critters Universe, if it were true or not.), starting off the day with Bubba Bubbaphant as he is just finishing up with his research summary on his laptop as he appeared to be working on his summary all night due to the bags under his eyes and the many cans of energy drinks on his desk to keep him from going to sleep.

Bubba: Alright, Y/n. I'd be happy to be you home-school teacher. Just gotta summarize all my research on the last page, annnnd-

But then, just as he is about to save his file on the laptop, the battery on the laptop ran out of juice and Bubba began to freak out that he lost all of that hard work for nothing.

Bubba: No! Nonononono!!! That took me all night to finish (Slams his head on the laptop) AUGH!!!

Then Y/n came into check on Bubba to see him all upset that he lost all of his work for nothing.

Y/n: Bubba? You okay?

Bubba: (Sighs) Yeah...I'm good, buddy. I'm just upset that I lost everything I worked on my laptop, and I've spent all night to finish it.

Y/n: Well, I think it's best to save your work from time to time instead of staying up all night just to finish your research. You need to sleep often, and you can literally die from a lack of sleep if you keep staying up until you finish your project. I'm sure whoever asked you to work on your summary will give you an extra day to work on it again. Just please, don't push yourself too hard, okay?

That actually made Bubba smiled happy to hear Y/n giving him some very useful advice as he actually learned something from him and will learn from his mistake for now on to avoid dealing with the same problem from his laptop.

Bubba: You know what? You're absolutely right there, kiddo. I'll try to save my work from time to time for now on to avoid having to write my research once again. Thanks for the advice.

Y/n: You're welcome, Bubba.

So, Bubba decided to take a break from his research to teach Y/n a few school subjects such as math, science, history and English as Y/n's home-school teacher and Bubba was amazed and impressed on how Y/n was able to solve his problems so easy despite being his first day of home-school. Bubba is proud to be Y/n's home-school teacher as Y/n got to know more about Bubba until it was time to hang out with KickinChicken and Hoppy Hopscotch, despite KickinChicken not wanting to hang out with Y/n before Hoppy decided to play basketball with Y/n to shoot some hoops.

Hoppy: Alright, Y/n. I'm gonna teach you how to shoot some hoops with this basketball. You ready?

Y/n: Yeah!

Hoppy: Alright, let me show you how to shoot some hoops to that basketball hoop.

Then as Hoppy started teaching Y/n on how to shoot a few hoops to the basketball hoop while KickinChicken is just sitting by a tree and drinking a soda, watching the two of them having fun together until he saw Y/n managed to shoot his first hoop on his first try, which actually got KickinChicken's interest on Y/n as he watch Y/n shoot a few more hoops before the boy started doing a few trick shots that went through the basketball hoop that made KickinChicken spit out his soda he was drinking from.

KickinChicken: (Thinking) Whoa! I didn't know that Y/n is a pro at basketball, even though this is his first time doing it! I take back everything I said about Y/n! This kid is a natural! You know, I actually like the kid, even though I was a little too harsh on him. I wonder if he has siblings on his own. If he doesn't, I bet he would love having the cool big brother like me around.

Then KickinChicken decided to go play with Y/n as Hoppy saw Kickin walking up to them as she immediately went in front of Y/n to protect him from whatever he's about to throw at Y/n.

Hoppy: Back off, KickinChicken!

KickinChicken: What's your deal, Hoppy? I just to join in on the fun with the kid that's all.

Hoppy: Oh sure. You're just saying that, so you can be mean to Y/n! I won't let that happen!

KickinChicken: I'm not gonna bully Y/n for no reason, Hoppy! I just saw how Y/n managed to become a pro at basketball, and I wanted to spend time with him even though I felt like a jerk to him the first time I met him! At least let me shoot some hoops with the kid and we can move on!

Hoppy: Ugh! Fine, but if you're playing, he's on my team since I'm his big sister! He's on the blue team!

KickinChicken: No! I called dibs on Y/n! He's on the red team!

Hoppy: No way! He's with me on the blue team!

KickinChicken: In your dream, long-eared cottontail! Y/n's with me on the red team!

Hoppy: No way, beaked-face feather brains! Y/n's on the blue team!

KickinChicken: Red!

Hoppy: Blue!

KickinChicken: Red!

Hoppy: Blue!

KickinChicken: RED!

Hoppy: BLUE!

Then the two of them started fighting each other with the two of them glaring daggers at each other to fight over Y/n to let him choose to be on the red team or the blue team until Y/n decided to break them up.

Y/n: Guys! Please don't fight over me! This solves nothing!

Hoppy and KickinChicken looked at Y/n for a moment before they both decided to have a contest to see who has the highest score points in Basketball to watch over Y/n.

KickinChicken: You know what? How about this? First one with the highest score points get to hang out with Y/n until the next Critters watches over him!

Hoppy: You're on, birdboy! I'm gonna show you who's the better athlete here!

KickinChicken: Bring it on, Carrot head!

Timeskip - 30 Minutes Later

After a long battle of shooting hoops to get the highest score, Hoppy was declared the winner of the battle and KickinChicken was all out of breath after he tried his best to beat Hoppy Hopscotch in a game of basketball.

Y/n: Wow. I didn't realize that KickinChicken lost to a game of basketball, but at least he tried his best.

KickinChicken: (Heavy breathing) Best 2 out of---three. (Wheezes)

Hoppy: Nope. Sorry, Kickin. I won fair and square! I'm just too fast for you and you're just too slow!

KickinChicken: (Groans)

Y/n: Don't be sad, Kickin. At least you did you best and I forgive you for being mean to me. I'm sure we can play again another day together.

KickinChicken: (Chuckles tiredly) Rock on, kiddo. (Passes out)

Hoppy: Don't worry, buddy. He'll be ok. I got a game we can both play together.

Y/n: Ok then. Let's go.

So then, Hoppy took Y/n somewhere to play a fun game with her that is her own kind of style.

Hoppy: Alright, little buddy. We're gonna play a game called "The Floor is Lava.

Y/n: The Floor is Lava? How do you play that game?

Hoppy: Simple. All you gotta do is make a teensy-weensy little jump! (Points to where she meant by "Teensy-weensy little jump")

Y/n: (Scared) Uh...that's looks pretty far to make a teensy-weensy little jump.

Hoppy: Don't worry, little one. Big sis will show you how to make that jump. Watch!

She then did an EXCEEDINGLY long jump over to the other side of the cliff, which Y/n was both shocked and surprised to see Hoppy make that long jump and he could even make that jump like Hoppy just did.

Hoppy: Easy peasy, right?

Y/n: Uh...sure...

Hoppy: Your turn, Y/n! Show me what you've got!

Then Y/n looked down at the very bottom of the cliff, which made him feel really terrified of making that jump that would make him fall to his own death or in this case, wake up from his dreams like falling to his death was his biggest nightmare.

Hoppy: No! Don't look down at your feet, Y/n! You're never gonna make it here if you don't make that jump!

Y/n: Uh...ok...

Then Y/n took a deep breath and made the biggest jump he can do, but unfortunately for him, he only made it half way as he is now falling to his death, much to Hoppy that went from a serious expression to a shocked expression as she made a terrible mistake of making Y/n jump to her because he can't make big long jumps like she did since she is a rabbit after all.

Hoppy: Y/N!!!

Y/n: (Screams)

Then just Y/n was falling to his death, he was soon saved by getting his waist wrapped around by a really long purple cat tail as CatNap quickly pulled him up and hugged and nuzzled him affectionately to calm him down from falling to his death, causing Y/n to hug CatNap in a death-like grip before starting to cry over his shoulder with CatNap shushing him quietly and rubbing his back slowly until Y/n finally calms down.

Then Hoppy came over to them with tears in her eyes as a way of showing her how sorry she is right now about forcing Y/n to make that jump/

Hoppy: Ohmygoshohmygoshogmygosh! I'm so sorry for making you make that jump, Y/n! I got too carried away! Please forgive me! (Crying)

Y/n never felt so bad for Hoppy as she was trying to have some fun with Y/n despite of him being human and not a rabbit like her. So, Y/n gave her a hug and did his best to calm her down, which she immediately hugged her back and cried over his shoulder as Hoppy stayed like this until she finally calms down with CatNap joining in on the hug as well.

Hoppy: Thanks....I need that.

Y/n: It's no big deal, Hoppy. I forgive you even if I nearly died from falling to my death. I just can't jump like you can.

Hoppy: I see. Well, what if I carry you with me so we can jump together.

Y/n: Ok that sounds like a good idea, but I think we need something to keep me from falling again.

Hoppy: I think I got something that might help.

Timeskip - A Few Minutes Later

Y/n: You got to be kidding me right now?

Hoppy: Oh, don't be such a sourpuss, Y/n. This will definitely help out for the both of us.

After a few minutes, Y/n was strapped onto Hoppy with a baby wrap carrier and Y/n felt really embarrassed for being strapped onto Hoppy's chest to keep him from falling down to his death again. Y/n figured CatNap would help him out of this situation, but he's just sitting there licking his paw acting like a normal house cat and pretending like this is normal for them.

Hoppy: Look I know this is embarrassing to you, but trust me, this will be fun for the both of us. You ready?

Y/n: Yes.

Hoppy: Alright....here we GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Then Hoppy started jumping from place to place at amazing speed, causing Y/n to not only have fun, but feeling really scared of going this fast while being strapped to Hoppy's chest as it felt going on a roller coaster, but without the roller coaster part. This went on for a half an hour before Y/n was at CraftyCorn's tower as he is being forced to play dress up with CraftyCorn and Bobby Bearhug, making him feel really embarrassed and ridiculous right now as he is now wearing a princess dress while CraftyCorn is applying the makeup.

Bobby and Crafty are both happy and excited to play with Y/n together and they can't help to see how Y/n looks so cute in a dress and wearing makeup, despite Y/n feeling ridiculous and embarrassed right now.

Bobby: Awww, look at him!

Crafty: Truly my best work yet! But it's still missing something...

Y/n: What could be missing that would make me more ridiculous than before. Also, why is CatNap here with us and wearing makeup, lipstick and a pearl necklace? I bet he hates it more than me.

Bobby: Aw, come on, Y/n. There's no reason to act all embarrassed. It's not like you're on Live TV with millions of people watching. Oh! I know what's missing. (Pulls out a homemade flower pin) How about this homemade flower pin? It'd look sooo good on Y/n. Wouldn't it, CatNap?

CatNap: NO.

Y/n: (Turns to CatNap in confusion) Did you just talk?

CatNap slowly turned to Y/n and just licked his paw as his only answer.

Y/n: Nevermind.

Then CraftyCorn placed the flower pin on Y/n's head, CatNap decided to help out his little brother with a little cat sabotage.

Crafty: There, perfect!

CatNap then grabbed the flower pin from Y/n's head and threw it to the other side of the room.

Bobby: Aww, CatNap!

Then CatNap removed all the clothes and jewelry from Y/n that he was forced to dress up in and licked his paw a few times before rubbing all of the makeup on Y/n's face, making him feel all normal and wearing his regular clothes again before CatNap started hugging Y/n, purring, nuzzling, and licking his face, making Y/n giggle from CatNap's brotherly affection.

Bobby: CatNap! You're ruining our work!

Crafty: (Giggles)

Bobby: (Thinking) (Groans) I can't believe that CatNap ruined our work and got rid of everything on Y/n. (Sighs) Well, at least Y/n is happy that he's out of the dress and it is cute that CatNap is being a great brother to Y/n. At least, we're all having fun even though CatNap had to ruin it.

Then without warning, CatNap just licked Bobby's cheek as if it were a kiss on the check, which grossed Bobby out to how slobbery it was.

Bobby: EW! CatNap! (Disgusted)

Y/n/Crafty: (Giggles)

Bobby: (Sighs) Now I know how Y/n felt when he was embarrassed.

After spending time with Bobby and Crafty, Y/n went to have some lunch with PickyPiggy, which she shared some of her food from Applebee's with her special coupon and after they ate, they went over to Picky's house to bake a cake and Y/n became her cooking partner as it wasn't too hard for Y/n to bake a cake with PickyPiggy while CatNap is sitting on the counter licking his paw before Y/n and PickyPiggy placed the giant cake to the counter.

Y/n: Wow! This cake looks delicious!

PickyPiggy: I know right? This has gotta be the best cake we've ever made! Do you like it too, CatNap?

Y/n: Yeah, do you like it, CatNap?

Then CatNap look to his side to see a cucumber and he immediately freaked out as he began bouncing off the walls at rapid speed after he saw the cucumber, resulting in destroying the cake that Y/n and PickyPiggy worked so hard on together as their bodies are covered in cake batter and icing.

PickyPiggy: (Crying) Whhhhhyyy....

Y/n: (Licks some of the cake off of him) Mmmm....this cake is delicious...sorry for what happened to the cake, Piggy, but we can always make another cake.

PickyPiggy actually felt better that there's always another time to make another cake, but she has to make sure not to leave any cucumbers that will freak CatNap out as he is still bouncing off the walls as Picky immediately hugged Y/n despite the two of them completely covered with cake as we cut over back to DogDay's house.

Location: DogDay's House

After spending the entire day with the other Smiling Critters, Y/n had a lot of fun with them, even if they went through a few bumps in the road, but in the end, Y/n had a great time meeting and hanging out with the other Smiling Critters as Y/n is about to get another bath from DogDay after getting covered in cake.

DogDay: Ok my little puppy! Bathtiiiiime~

Y/n: (Sigh) Yeah, I guess another bath won't hurt. I mean, I'm all covered in cake and icing after CatNap went crazy in PickyPiggy's kitchen when he saw the cucumber on the counter.

DogDay: I see. Well, guess what, buddy. You won't be in the tub alone cause CatNap will taking a bath with you.

Y/n: What?!

CatNap: (Hissing)

DogDay: Aw come on, CatNap. You know that doesn't work on me.

Then CatNap started to beg with his best pouty face and baby doll eyes to convince DogDay to not let him take a bath with Y/n in it, which didn't work either.

DogDay: And THAT pouty face of yours won't work either.

Then CatNap tried using his Poppy Gas to get him out of the situation with Y/n covering his mouth at the sight of the red mist.

DogDay: Don't even think of using your Poppy Gas in here, especially if Y/n's in here with us.

Then he sucked it all back in before he was forced to take a bath with Y/n in the tub with a grumpy expression on CatNap's face as DogDay began washing the two of them before blow drying them to get them all clean, before Y/n's H/c hair became an Afro while CatNap's purple fur puffed up and Y/n didn't even dare try to pet or hug CatNap cause he knew that CatNap might scratch his face off with his razor-sharp claws.

Then after DogDay put Y/n in some fresh clothes and brushed and combed his hair back to normal, he picks up CatNap like holding a cat by the armpits, not even realizing on what is about to him.

DogDay: (Giggles then picks up CatNap) Look, I'm sorry I had to do this to do, but it's for your own good and we may be a bit obsessive towards Y/n, but we can't help it. You two are too cute acting like brothers. It's so adorable.

Then CatNap just had enough as he went from being grumpy to a more furious expression on his face as he has the urge to kill DogDay in cold blood with Y/n hiding behind the tub in fear as DogDay continued to act all cutesy with CatNap, which he made a huge mistake towards CatNap.

DogDay: Aww, who's a good kitty? You are, aren't you? Sweet little-

SLASH!

DogDay: Yipe!

With a swipe of CatNap's claws, DogDay yelped and fell to the floor after CatNap scratched his face with his claws, which made Y/n even more scared that CatNap just attacked DogDay out of anger, which made CatNap catch on what he just did as looked at DogDay kneeling on the floor in pain.

Until...

CatNap: DogDay!!!

Then he quickly caught himself speaking like a normal human, which got Y/n's attention that he just heard CatNap said DogDay's name as he got out of his hiding spot and walked right behind CatNap with a menacing glare in his eyes, causing CatNap to look behind him to see an angry Y/n looking at him with a glare in his eyes as he messed up big time and his cover was blown.

Y/n: CatNap...

CatNap: Uh...meow?

Then everything went quiet for a minute or two before Y/n looked at him with an unamused look on his face as he is not buying CatNap's lies anymore.

Y/n: You can actually talk like the others, right?

CatNap: (Sighs) Alright you got me, Y/n. I pretended to be a normal cat and didn't say a single word because I thought you would like me as a cat.

Y/n: Why would try to pretend to be a cat like for? You could've just acted normal like the others including DogDay instead of acting like a full-on house cat.

CatNap: Well, I'm sorry for scratching him, Y/n. I just like taking baths because I can't stand being all wet in the tub and of course, I was a bit jealous of that big-hearted DogDay and the other Smiling Critters having fun with you the whole time while I was busy doing my daily mailman routine, like I always do.

Y/n: You're jealous of them just because I hung out with them. Come on, CatNap. It's not like we didn't invite you to join in on the fun with me. We didn't mind having you around.

DogDay: Yeah, and if you really felt that way, you could've just told us. I mean, you scratched my face, and I didn't mean to treat you a child and you really scared Y/n because he thought you were going to kill.

CatNap: What?! I would never do such a thing like that to Y/n. I love and care for him as if he was my younger brother and...(Sighs) I'm sorry for acting like that, DogDay, but I'm not into baths since I am a cat after all. And I'm sorry for scaring you like that, Y/n. I didn't mean to do that to you.

DogDay and Y/n both then hugged CatNap to show him that they've both forgiven CatNap for scratching DogDay in the facee and scaring Y/n to death.

DogDay: It's all good, CatNap. I'll remember not to give you a bath again and I'm happy that you apologized to us.

Y/n: Yeah, you're still our friend and a brother to us, CatNap. We love you, buddy.

That actually made CatNap smile that they both still love him, even after what CatNap did to them as he hugged them both back with a very happy smile on his face.

Until...

KickinChicken: Good to know you were faking being a cat the whole time, CatNap.

Then they looked behind them to see everyone that saw the whole thing between CatNap, DogDay and Y/n as they all smiled smugly that CatNap only to pretended to be a cat to make Y/n like him better out of jealousy.

Luckily for CatNap, he won't get beaten up or punished by the others since he didn't do anything wrong and has saved Y/n a couple of times after all.

Bobby Bearhug: Just so you know, CatNap, we all forgive you for your actions. Also, we're having a slumber party here and Y/n is gonna be wearing this cute and adorable onesie I made for him.

Bobby Bearhug then showed Y/n a specially designed onesie that looks like her with the same soft and silky fabric and has the scent of roses as well. Y/n knew what is about to happen.

Y/n: Please don't make me wear that.

DogDay: Sorry, Angel. You have to wear it for Bobby.

Y/n: But DogDay...

DogDay: No buts, Angel. You have to wear it.

Y/n: CatNap?

CatNap: No can do on that, kiddo. She made it just for you and you're gonna wear it and like it.

Y/n: (Sighs) Ok...I'll wear it.

Bobby: (Squeals) I knew you would wear for me! You're gonna look so cute in it.

Y/n: (Sarcastic) Whoopie.

Bubba: And in case you're wondering, we made onesies for you as well.

Y/n: Aw come on!

Bubba: What? It's the way we show our appreciation for you, Y/n.

KickinChicken: Yeah, and you're gonna have to get used to it eventually.

Bubba: Yeah, (Yawns) That too. Always....remember to save your work, kids...

Then he walked over to Y/n and gently laid on top of him and fell asleep on him while hugging him like he's a teddy bear and he started snoozing up a storm, which everyone finds it cute and adorable.

Y/n: (Thinking) Is this gonna keep happening every time I go to sleep?
