End
After the incident with baseball team, Hana became somewhat of a legend among her newfound friends.
"I still say it's not fair. How come you got to get hit by the ball? I've had a crush on Goto all year!" Kara whined after choir about a week after the apology.
"I'll let you get hit next time." Hanna joked as she slid her sheet music into her bag and stood up from her chair. "It's the least I can do."
"Don't be mean." Kara whined, sticking out her tongue at Hana. "I guess it's just in my nature." Hana said in a fake tough-girl tone. Hana and Kara burst out laughing.
"Haha, I'll see you guys later, I've got to catch the train." Hana said, she waved goodbye as she left, and walked briskly to the subway.
She had gotten the hang of the subway system over the past few days, so she could finally get home without getting lost in the bustle of the underground.
Hey guys, author here. I started this story about five years ago with the whole plot thought out. However, I kind of gave up after a couple years because I kinda grew out of this fandom. As time passed, I totally forgot about this entire story. But now I've decided to end the suffering and write a quick summary of the rest of the story due to COVID-19 boredom. I hope this gives you the closure that you all deserve.
OK, Hanna gets off at the stop nearest to her house. Between the subway station and her house, she's grabbed and pulled into a back alley by two middle aged thuggish looking dudes. Picture one of them really tall and muscular, but super dumb. And the other one is pretty short and really angry. Classic goons.
The big one doesn't talk much, but the little one keeps going on about how somebody's really looking forward to reconnecting. Then they start dragging her towards a black car.
Hana is understandably super freaked out and somehow wiggles out of Big Goon's grasp and starts running for her life. The goons chase her to a park area with a humongous tree nearby. She doesn't see anywhere to run, so she climbs the huge tree.
The goons try to follow her up the tree, but Little Goon is too short to reach the branches, and Big Goon is too heavy for the branches to support. Neither of them are smart enough to figure out that Big Goon could just lift Little Goon so they just stand at the base of the tree yelling at her to try and scare her down.
Ya girl is having a freaking panic attack in this tree when out of the bushes bounds this huge ferocious looking dog. The dog is howling and barking and scares the crap outta Big Goon, who backs off. Lil Goon thinks he's tough and KICKS THE DOG. (Don't worry, it didn't hurt the dog.) This dog is having none of his crap and sinks his teeth in Lil Goon's leg. This is enough to get the Goons to yeet themselves outta there.
Uh oh. Who's this stumbling out of the bushes from which the doggie savior emerged? Why, it's our new friend Himura! (Remember him? I bet you don't. Chapter 6, Mean Girls)
OMG he saw everything!
Himura gets his dog and looks up the tree all like "Hana, you ok?" Hana is in tears and clearly not ok, but she says "Yup, doing great!" And tries to climb down.
Now, you might remember that Hana is afraid of heights. She freaks out and slips, falling from the tree.
Our friend Himura is smooth as hek and catches Hana before she hits the ground. They have a real moment.
Anyway, Himura asked Hana what that was all about and Hana was like "I don't know, and I don't wanna know. I'm gonna head home before I get kidnapped."
Himura offers to walk her home and she accepts cause she's terrified. On the way, Himura introduces Hana to our lovable doggie savior. Her name is Rosie and she's a bull mastiff.
They chat and have a grand old time, considering the state of uneasiness they both feel about the kidnapping fiasco. As they approach Sunrise Resistance, the triplets are seen having a conversation around Natsume's car.
Tsubaki sees Hana with Himura and starts teasing them, saying things like "OOOooOo Hana got a boyfriend!" and things like that. However when the triplets walk up closer, they can see the kiddos are SHOOK.
They tell the bro's what happened, triplets thank Himura and Rosie profusely, and call a family meeting.
At the family meeting, everyone gets super concerned. Use your imagination on how they'd react, cause there are so many of them ugh.
Anyway, it's decided that Hana won't be taking walks alone any time soon. She'll go to school with Subaru and either wait until practice is over or call for a ride from one of the older brothers.
Hana gets teary because she's grateful of the love and concern blah blah blah family blah blah hugs.
Then I was gonna do some filler chapters, probably about visiting the twins at work, teaching Wataru how to swim, another chance meeting with Himura, etc
Then a chapter about Hana and Subaru walking to the subway to get to school and Hana notices that black car from earlier following them. They run but she's not fast enough, so Subaru scoops her up, and the loose the goons by hiding behind a building or something.
As they hide and wait to make sure that the goons are gone, Hana tearfully apologizes to Subaru for being so much trouble and really gets down on herself.
Subaru has no idea what to do because he sucks at words, so he just hugs her and says "It's not your fault." And she's stunned for a sec but hugs him back, still crying. It's a cute moment.
Then more filler episodes, then the performance of Les Mis (it's beautiful). One more filler chapter.
Then it's Hanas birthday. Ema and the boys put together a cute birthday party. She was asked to stay late so Subaru could walk her home after practice. While she was waiting, the gang got sunrise residence ready for a super rad surprise party.
She walked home with Subaru, had the whole "surprise" moment. Super happy very cute birthday fun ensues.
Fuuto is being kind of a brat on his phone the whole time so Tsubaki sneaks up behind him and steals it.
He passed it to Hana, who hid it so Fuuto has no choice but to give in to family fun. He secretly enjoyed it.
But suddenly... CRASH! BOOM! BASH!
In marches bad dad and his two idiots, Hana and the bros try to fight back as much as possible, a few get bruised and bloodied, Subaru, Natsume, and Yusuke the most cause they really go for it.
I the end, they get Hana by holding a knife to her throat so the bros wouldn't make any more funny business and she goes willingly so they won't get hurt anymore.
Episode about the bros going crazy trying to find her... real heart-wrenching stuff that I'm too lazy to write.
Cut to Hana, beaten and hopeless, tied up in a closet somewhere. She's just lost everything she loved and kinda hits emotional rock bottom. Almost giving up on life itself when...
She feels something in her jacket! SECRET POCKET! She suddenly remembers she hid Fuutos phone in her secret pocket!
She struggles to get the phone out with her hands tied behind her back, but eventually succeeds, she turns on the phone and sees a ton of missed calls from various numbers. She pressed on the first contact she recognized.
"Hello?" Came Azusa's voice from the other end. "Azusa! It's Hana. I need-" she began, but was cut off when she heard someone approach the closet.
"Hana? Are you ok?! Where are you?!" She heard in muffled voices as quickly slid the phone behind the door as it opened, revealing our favorite yandere dad.
He goes into a whole demented monologue about how he loves her, but she made his life so difficult now. And she must be punished, she's a worthless burden, nobody will love her except for him because she's so useless, blah blah blah.
She gets fed up with the abuse and finally stands up to him. She has this whole Disney epiphany moment, yelling at him, but mostly herself that she is in fact worth more than nothing.
Papa is not having it tho. He gets MAD...
Meanwhile, back at Sunrise Residence, Azusa and the others are freaking out because they could hear what was happening. Masaomi called the police while Azusa tracked the phones location to a motel.
When he tracked the phone, he, Tsubaki, Natsume, Ukyo, and Subaru piled into Natsumes car to meet the police at the motel, still listening to Hana and her moment.
They get to the motel when bad dad gets mad, the police hear what's happening on the phone and it gives them enough reasonable suspicion to break in just as the line goes dead.
When the police break the door, the boys catch a glimpse of Hana on the floor with her dad standing above her. There is blood.
Their view is quickly obstructed by police and emergency personnel who surround Hana, putting her on a stretcher and into an ambulance before any of the brothers could even think to ask if she was ok.
They talk to the police and Ukyo calls to update the others before getting back into the car and driving to the hospital. There they meet the others.
They trapped in suspense for a few hours while Hana is in surgery. Eventually a nurse come out and tells them that she is stable and should be fine in time. They all breathe a sigh of relief, finally taking in the events of the past couple of days.
A few hours later, Hana opens her eyes to see her family, exhausted but in relatively high spirits surrounding her in her recovery room.
She is truly happy. With them, she is home.
